Is there anything you can buy for dollar? From my experience this General Dollar is mostly more expensive than Walmart. A good place if you’re close and need necessities eg coffee, filters, milk, frozen foods, etc…

The absolute best, most reliable dollar store around, with very well organized shelves. Also well-organized and better stocked than other value stores in the area. Also tend to be open late, which is great if you're getting in late from a flight.

I love this store, it is clean, nothing blocking aisles unless they are stocking it. Cashier is always smiling, and makes conversation with everyone. Prices are great, sales even better!I went yesterday and returning today, only because I didn’t get sale prices the one that says (4 days only.)I will continue this post, when I see how that goes....

Good variety of products at decent prices. I shop here often because it's convenient. Other than fresh produce, they almost always have the couple of quick items I'm looking for. Store is always very neat/clean/organized and staff is super friendly :)

Over all not to bad at the store alittle small on the rows to get around but that’s fine. But my real problem was that the older ladie behind the counter was being very disrespectful toward me by throw the little hand cart thing they have for us to use to the ground, an just being straight rude to me an my son it’s not are fault she had a huge line cause she went an disappeared an came back to a full line. But that’s all I have to say

This particular Dollar General happens to be rather close to me so I go there often. They have exactly what you'd expect a dollar store to have so don't go looking for fresh meats, veggies or fruits =). However they do have a variety of canned goods in those categories. Plus frozen hamburger. What I enjoy most is the friendly and knowledgeable service I get every time I walk in the door. One employee in particular stays very busy but still manages to make me laugh and help me when needed. This has quickly become my go-to store for those times I need a few things but don't want to pay an arm and a leg like at the neighboring "convenient" stores.

The aisles were crowded the store was messy the ladies that work there were very rude had no patience. Im handicapped and they just seem to make fun of me. I did not appreciate the way I was treated in that store I spent $100 and they could have cared less. I don't believe they even said thank you

I was checking out and my purchase included several packages of socks for my husband and children. These socks were on clearance and at checkout ended up ringing in for $0.01. I frequently shop at DG and this had happened one other time before, I had picked up something in the clearance section and it rang up for only a penny at checkout and that is what happened this day. Needless to say I was beyond pleased to see that they we so discounted. The clerk gave me my total, I handed her the amount due. She entered in into the register and waited for my receipt to print. We continued to wait but the register was frozen. So my receipt would not print and the register drawer would not open for her to put in my money. I wasn’t very concerned about this because I had paid the exact total down to the change. She said hold on I’m going to go and get my manager, it’s frozen. I didn’t want to wait for my receipt but she was gone so quickly and I thought it would be rude to just walk off, so I waited.About 2 minutes later I hear them coming down the aisle. The manager loudly says “Well I will let her have one package for a penny but that’s it!”. As I had stated previously I purchased several packages of socks for multiple members of my family that rang up for a penny. So the manager approaches the counter and I explain that I have already paid and I don’t need my receipt. She says to me “Oh no you haven’t!”. I was extremely confused. I said your cashier is holding my money, I paid before she walked away. The cashier then proceeds to slap my money on the counter and slide it towards me. She says “You haven’t paid until the drawer opens!”. They were both being exceptionally rude and at this point there were other people waiting in line and to be honest I was embarrassed because they were making a scene. I politely explained that I already paid and that it was fine if they could not get the receipt to print because I didn’t really need it. I turned and walked out of the store. As I was leaving the manager starts screaming at me “This may have happened this one time, but don’t ever expect to get away with this again in my store!!!!!”.Get away with what? I went shopping, purchased some items and then was screamed at for no reason. Needless to say I was very shaken by these events. I handle all of the shopping needs for my household. So I am in retail stores on an almost daily basis. I have never been treated in such a rude manner and with such utter disrespect. I believe that the manager was so rude because I had several packages of socks that rang up for one penny and she didn’t want me to leave the store with them. These were items that I had already purchased and paid the cashier for. If there was any mistake made it was the stores and treating me in a highly unprofessional manner was completely uncalled for.

First time in this Dollar General, it's a fairly new store, really organized well, and fully stocked, like the layout much better than the one in Belmont,live closer to the one in Belmont, but it is usually not organized well, and not well stocked.

Store is well stocked and clean. Nice clearance items. It's nice not having to go to Walmart or big grocery store. Milk, cereal, snacks, ice cream. They have it all.

I don't have much to say here. It's a Dollar General. Everything is a $1 or less. Staff usually seem stressed and unhappy. Store can be very overcrowded around holiday season. Good place to buy holiday cards and seasonal decorations.

Nice place to pick up a few items. You can even get sneakers there for under 15 dollars. I have had mine over a year. The manager is super nice!!

I like Dollar General in general. The Loudon location is conveniently located off Rt.106 and has a good selection of snacks, household goods and whatnot. They pretty much all carry the same stuff so it's more of a matter of being conveniently located.

Well stocked. I even was able to get Lysol disinfectant wipes today! Friendly people. There are very few options in Loudon to grab a quick necessity so I appreciate the convenience

Often need to wait for a cashier. Always boxes in the aisles. Feel like that staff don't like there jobs.
