I came to sit means sit because I needed help with my 60lb Alapha Blue blood bulldog,Sadie! With her being a big girl she started pulling a lot and was very people and dog reactive and because I’m in a wheelchair it was becoming unsafe for me to walk her and I lost my confidence in having control of her! Everybody at sit means sit has been awesome and have made sure to help me and Sadie get our confidence back and Sadie and I now enjoy trips all over! Everybody that we worked with (Phil,Bre and Katie) really took their time to work with us and answer all questions, text's, and emails that I had and we are so thankful!

I've been meaning to write this review for a while now and I just couldn't let another day pass without sharing my appreciation for everything Sit Means Sit has done (and is still doing) for our pup Obi!We brought our rescue puppy to Sit Means Sit a couple months after adopting him and we couldn’t be happier with the foundational skills he developed from the trainers at Sit Means Sit. Their team of trainers (special shout out to both Kait and Bri!) is not only knowledgeable, but also incredibly passionate about what they do. It was clear each time we dropped our pup off that he LOVED his time there and he always had the biggest smile each time he saw his trainers! We were also so impressed to see everything he had learned each time we came back to pick him up from his training days. The skills they taught us at the end of each of his sessions were easy to learn and we felt confident and supported continuing to reinforce and train our pup at home.If this wasn’t enough, the support didn't end once our initial training sessions were over. As Obi grew older and got more comfortable, we noticed he was developing some leash reactivity when he saw other dogs, especially around our home and on walks in our local neighborhood. We reached out to Sit Means Sit for additional help with this behavior and have already had two amazing sessions – one refresher session with Bri at their facility and one home visit with Kait where we worked in our home and even on a walk around our neighborhood. We left these sessions with a new confidence in our training and have already seen amazing results with our pup in such a short time. We will be going to their monthly group training sessions moving forward to further our pup’s socialization and training even more!In short, if you're looking for a dog training company that goes above and beyond to set you and your pup up for success, look no further than Sit Means Sit -- we can't recommend them highly enough!!

I brought my 6 month old puppy Macie here for training. Her trainer Bri was amazing, she did a wonderful job in training Macie in such a short period of time. She used to be out of control when she would see another dog, barking and pulling uncontrollably. Now I can walk her and pass other dogs and she stays right by my side, walking her is pleasurable now and one command "come" in the house and she comes running! I would highly recommend Sit Means Sit to anyone having issues with there pup, it's well worth the investment and the staff is wonderful. Thank you!

We had an amazing experience with sir means sit and our trainer Bri! They were so accommodating to our schedules and took all the time needed to make sure willow did her best! She is able to walk well on a leash and is listening so much better. I couldn’t recommend them enough and will continue to recommend them to anyone looking for any type of training for their dog!

Bri, Phil and the whole team at SMS did an amazing job helping our Max with training. He's much calmer, understands how to walk with us, when and how to sit, and his "place" command is to help calm the anxious thoughts! Thanks Bri for all the love and patience with us all!

AMAZING! AWESOME! CARING! Are just a few words to describe our experience. Everyone is so sweet and helpful. They take the time with the dogs and their humans to make sure everyone has the tools needed for success. I had many questions and concerns at first as I had tried training at others places and those places were not working for us. Everyone at Sit means Sit were very patient, explained everything in detail as to how/why and ensured we both were good with all we were learning. It was such a wonderful experience and my puppy is so happy! We get to do so many more adventures now!

I signed up my 7 month yorkie to sit means sit and I must say I was pretty impressed at how I as little as three days they were able to establish boundaries and help me put these boundaries into play. They were also caring with Ella witch made me comfortable leaving her there. The staff there is super friendly and professional. It is a very inviting place. I have to say I am happy I decided to give them a try I am happy with the outcome and how I can reach back out to them any time I feel the need to. Thank you Bri for all that you did with Ella. I recommend this place 100%Thank you allMarta G

So much progress for our nervous girl. She graduated and came out with her head held high and her tail up. (When we first got her I had to check if she had a tail) She’s doing great with waiting at the door. For her scared self, this is critical for her safety. She has the skills to know she has a safe place to go even when her anxiety kicks up. She knows her collar means we are close by and we have her safe.As we continue to work at home on her confidence we are confident her training here has greatly contributed to her progressing and most importantly her safety! We can’t wait to continue to share her progress with everyone!! Our deepest thanks and very worth it!!

Our dog Clifford is a tripawd - The trainer Bri took extra care of him from the beginning, she's a great trainer that gives a lot of positive reinforcementOur dog loved going thereClifford was almost impossible to walk on a leash without him pulling us across the yard - after training he is so much easier to walk.Bri taught us the tools to be able to work with Clifford each day , to reinforce everything he learned

We took our 9 month old lab, Lola, to Sit Means Sit and are so happy we did. I cannot say enough positive things about the owner and the staff. Very clear about the expectations of themselves, Lola and my husband and me. Takes a commitment each week to work on the skills taught each session. We saw such great results with Lola. I highly recommend Sit Mans Sit!!!

Such a great experience for Gemma and I. My girl needed some extra time and attention. I can now walk her on a leash without issues. She comes when called and goes into a sit and stay with ease. Thank you to everyone for loving my girl and making life easier for us both.

We had 2 completely untrained, hyper, 10 month old rescue pups, who had never been leash walked before, and we needed help.Sit Means Sit provided a friendly, safe environment with knowledgeable trainers that worked with our dogs privately, then took time to teach us how to use the training collars appropriately. Kait was awesome and clearly loves her job. She gave our fur babies lots of love.Tallulah and Reef are SO much better now, we can walk them without being knocked over and have even had them off leash in the woods! Yeah!! Thank You!

Excellent trainers (for the dogs and their owners) that got amazing results in a very short time. Both our dogs had a great time and learned so much. Staff is full of knowledgeable, positive, and enthusiastic trainers. Thanks so much!

The immediate results we saw was incredible. We have a 10 month old puppy who we had done 10 weeks of training with prior to Sit Means Sit & didn’t see a 1/4 of the results with. Our puppy is very energetic, curious, rumbustious & mischievous like most puppies are. She is sweet, smart, sassy & stubborn! After literally just 1 class she listened when called, stopped chasing the cats & barking minimized. We can’t thank the trainers enough for everything they did. Everyone who we had interactions with at Sit Means Sit were wonderful & the best part is they are now & will always be her support system. If for any reason we need help with a challenge that may arise all we have to do is reach out. Yes the training is an investment & consistency is key but we would hands down recommend for anyone who needs that extra help strengthening their bond with their pup. Simply the best! ~Nancy, Carl & Maui 🐾

I got my girl from a rehome situation and she came in very sweet but shy and very reactive to new people and other animals. After bringing her in for training, she had so much more confidence and is doing so much better with being reactive, especially on our walks I can now walk her with more ease and less fear of her pulling me or going nuts when she sees another dog. Me and Lacey have both learned so much!

My Kenobi was overly excited all the time and had difficulty following any direction. Bri and the team at Sit Means Sit were amazing in helping Kenobi to learn great behaviors and to also provide us humans with a training as well!! Highly recommend to train with them. My boy was excited to go to each class and loved working with Bri also!!

Bella had gotten training two other times, but neither were successful! This training I saw an immediate difference after the 1st session. It’s been a game changer. I can now walk and play with Bella off leash, She now comes right to me instead of playing hide n’ seek at 11 PM in the backyard. She doesn’t pull my arm out of the socket during walks. She doesn’t (playfully) jump up on EVERYONE’. She’s always been a sweet, loving dog, but we are both so much happier now!

My 1 year old puppy had the best time working with Bri! She came out of day 1 as a whole different dog even with just a few hours of training she caught on really well! I was also pleased by how they took their time to make sure I knew exactly how they trained her and how to use the e-collar as well. After 3 weeks everyone who knows my dog always goes “wow Paige, there is such a big difference!” I highly recommend Sit Means Sit. It is totally worth it and you get free group classes for life!!

Back in 2020 Phil came to my house when I was living in Windham and trained my two-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog. She was very hard to walk as she was a very confident dog and also strong dog. Phil showed up and 10 minutes later my dog was a new dog she became the perfect dog no longer dragging me down the street responding to all commands. Here it is 4 years later and these are the reviews that count. She is still responding to all the same commands is for a matter of fact I don't even need her call her anymore if you are looking for someone who's a straight shooter and delivers on what he says this is the guy to go with. And yes I know it's expensive but how much money did you just spend on your dog so what's a few extra bucks to help your best friend

We took our dog to sit means sit for some training. I was very pleased with the outcome. He is doing awesome and everyone there was so helpful. I would highly recommend them if you’re looking for some good quality training for your pup. Also a shout out to Kait. She was great with Rudy and he enjoyed going there which made it much easier for all of us. 😊

Phenomenal job SMS! They are the real deal on dog obedience training. Our boi walked out (loose leash!) as a different dog after SMS. Now, we can enjoy our walks even with lots of distractions. Huge shoutout to Bri for making each day a fun, learning experience! Bueller’s smile is a testament to this!

We took our dog Barney to Sit Means Sit out of frustration with his outbursts towards other dogs. We kept him isolated for his own protection, but realized his world needed to be bigger. He is now on a journey that gives him the confidence to be able to go out and be tolerant of situations that make him nervous. We would recommend Sit Means Sit to other dog owners that are trying to give their dog the confidence needed to expand their world.

Phil, Kait, and the rest of the Sit Means Sit staff were absolutely amazing with our puppy Gus! They are extremely knowledgable and so patient. Gus needed some assistance with learning obedience and did so very quickly. Although Gus still needs a bit more work, he has come SUCH a long way and continues to learn during each session! My husband and I highly recommend Sit Means Sit to anyone who not only is just starting out with their puppy/dog, but to anyone who is looking to build on the training that their puppy/dog currently has. We are so grateful for Phil and his staff and appreciate all of the hard work they have put in to Gus!

I am so unbelievably impressed by Dewey's behavioral transformation after 4 weeks of training. Before Sit Means Sit we were kicked out of another puppy group class because of his energy level and difficulties staying focused, no high reward or praise could snap him out of it. I felt like I had hit a wall with his training but after just one intro with Phil, and his amazing sidekick Gonzo, I could see the difference like night and day. The staff here are incredible - they answer any and all questions I had with zero judgement and in an easy-to-understand manner. Training with SMS gave both my pup and I the confidence we needed to continue our training and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. We're suuuper excited to continue with the group classes they offer. Sit Means Sit was the best investment I could have possibly made for me and my furry best friend, I'd recommend them to anyone!

We just finished our training at SMS . It was truly a great experience. Everyone is very welcoming & professional. Our 5 month old pup Kano has exceeded our expectations . I wasn't really sure how the training would play out but after the first session on week one, trainer Bri had all of our trust . Kano made us so proud each time at pick up .Bri really was awesome! We felt so comfortable in our sessions even without having any prior experience with e collar training. She was sooo patient and I loved seeing the positive interactions between her and Kano . After all, our pups are family and it can be hard dropping them off to strangers especially for 7 hours. We are so excited to see how this training continues to build our bond & experiences with him . There's definitely a new confidence for all of us 🙌

Sit means sit is the best of the best! I contacted them when my Douge de Bordeaux became of age. Our 120lb mastiff not only was pulling on a lead, but was becoming quite a problem. She was becoming dominant to the point she actually attacked our boxer over a bed. It was incredibly scary for all of us and we had thoughts we might have to rehome her. Not what I wanted to do! She had become our family. I contacted sit means sit in a desperate plea for help. My mind was blown the very first time I picked her up. First off, can it get any easier? I literally drop my dog off, they train her for me all day, then I pick her up. Like what?! Perfect for a sports mom with zero time. We put the time in at home as they said. We used the tools they showed us and I would take our girl, Jada, for small walks everyday so she knew who was boss. She definitely tried to remain the boss, but Kait helped with all of that. I loved that Kait would take us to the dog store next door to their facility and watched how Jada and I responded to the training. She gave us small corrections, taught me how take control of my dog, and taught Jada I wasn’t backing down. It was the best experience. It’s been almost a year since we have been there and Jada is thriving. There have been no more attacks. She has become the best dog I have ever had. She walks the kids to school everyday, and has even been invited on the bus to greet the kiddos. Melted heart. We have such confidence with her, we added to our family and her best friend is now an 18lb frenchie. She is the gentle giant of our family. Thank you Sit Means Sit! Thank you for everything. I couldn’t imagine giving her up. I’m so thankful to Kait and the whole team. Kaits the best. It was worth the 45min drive for us. I’d do it all over again.

We had an awesome experience with SMS! We have a new puppy and wanted to have training that would make us feel confident in having her off leash, around other dogs and kids & something that would be lifelong. We found it here. Bri was amazing and really listened to our needs and situation. With 3 young kids, an elderly dog and cat; she understood the chaos within our household. Winnie has learned to come, sit, place and really know what is expected. She is still a puppy, so still learning but I’m confident that she will perfect it! Highly recommended and would use them in the future for any other dogs we have!
