Just got back from a week long stay. We live about an hour south so are familiar with the White Mountains and like to check out different campgrounds. This campground is convenient to Littleton and Franconia. The people here are the nicest we've met. Everyone who we encountered working at this campground as well as our ever changing neighbors were very friendly. Sits right on the river and would've been great for tubing! Bath house we visited at the office was exceptionally clean. Cute playground, sites were spacious and level. Our pull though site was subjected to constant 50+ mph traffic feet away on Rt 302. It was loud and non stop- even when inside our RV. There's little privacy with sites back to back. This was definitely a deal breaker for us- one and done. Not a bad campground AT ALL just not our style.Happy camping!

Hands down our favorite KOA and best camping experience we’ve ever had. We loved it so much that we stayed an extra night. The grounds were in great shape, everything was clean and the camp hosts (Kathy, Gary, Carol and Sue?) were professional and kind. The location only added to the experience. We were one tow back from the river. It was so relaxing and peaceful. The river has easy access points and is well maintained for wading and fishing along the river. If we didn’t live 12 hours away, we’d make this our go to weekend stay. Five stars, 10/10 and two thumbs up!Noteworthy details: Very well kept grounds. Grass was cut, roads and camping pads were well kept, camp store was clean and organized and the dog park/fenced in area was great!

The Campground itself as nice amenities. The staff is friendly but if you are hoping to do remote work. Or stay in touch with your family this will not happen. The advertise Wi-Fi is useless and there is no cell service. The site are tight and between the road the lawn mower and the Honey wagons it's very loud. That was a deal-breaker for me I will not be coming back.

Great little campground. Excellent river views and tubing down the river. Very friendly and helpful staff. Extremely clean restrooms. Would definitely recommend. Only downfall is poor wifi. It is very spotty.Nearby activities: Great town of littleton. Shillings is a great brewery and resturant on the river.

Nice little campground. Very helpful and friendly office and maintenance staff. Decent rv amenities worked well (W/S/E/C). Extreamly clean.Riverside sites are serene and really add character to this campground.About 30 mins from all the tourist sites and most trailheads in Franconia, which is good for a full hookup campground. It is right on the rt 302 highway which can be loud/annoying at times.Book early and get a riverside site because you wont hear the vehicles as much. Some tent sites on the south side (furthest downstream) looked unflat and you will be sleeping on an incline. Choose toward the grassy beach if in a tent.Cell service is non-existent 95% of the time due to the mountains.Wifi is terrible. Even sitting right outside the office it didnt work at times. The owners need to update their wifi system and also invest in more bandwidth. It magically works great at 2am when everyone is asleep and doesn't work for more then 10 mins during peak hours, if at all. That is a usage issue.Other then that I enjoyed my stay.

We stayed at this campground for a two night stretch while in the area to go to Santa’s village. We opted to stay on site T6 which was right on the river and very private. We didn’t have any neighbors for both of our nights which was great as we have two young kids And they can be a lot at times for neighboring campers looking for their own relaxing as the sites had not much foliage, if any, between them. The site was great but you have to carry in your gear about 600 feet or so from where you park your car. The only thing we found hard was that there were only a couple of bathrooms near us which if crowded, would have been difficult for privacy for a shower or using the toilet for a bit. The grounds were well kept and staff was very nice. We would consider this campground if we were going to Santa’s village again as it was maybe half hour away and an affordable option to take our kids for some time in nature.

The river is beautiful, the staff are very friendly, the facilities are clean, but this is not a tent camper's campground. The first night my husband and I were on a nice secluded site on the river. The site was so close to the road that we had a hard time sleeping. You can hear street noise from literally every inch of this campground. For our second night, we moved to one of the walk-in sites at the very back of the campground. It was very pretty! On the river, very private. After a day there, we realized there was poison ivy everywhere. Not just in the overgrowth at the boarders of the site (which is completely to be expected) but also sprouting from the ground on the site itself. We decided not to stay our third night, and they did not refund the cost of the night we didn't stay ($49, $12 more than the other local campground). My husband left with a huge spot of poison ivy on his leg. Overall I wish we had not stayed here and would recommend that other tent campers look elsewhere.

First time at this particular KOA and we are very impressed. We arrived late and helpful staff guided us into our site in the dark. Lots of friendly staff constantly driving around and cleaning. New bathrooms are spacious with hot water and good pressure. Trees between sites which is also nice. Sites are nice and level. Extremely well maintained and well marked paths down to the river. Sitting on the river with a nice cup of coffee was great in the morning. Other campers were friendly and respectful. Only "complaint" was that the wifi was a bit spotty. This turned out to be a good thing. Instead of zoning out into our phones, we played card games, walked around, etc. Great time! We will definitely be back!

I stayed here with my kids and they had the BEST time!! They loved all the camp activities—they did tie dye, the river mining rocks, a scavenger hunt, and a chocolate pudding eating contest (exactly as hilarious as it sounds). Doris hosted a bunch of our activities and she was a total delight!! We also loved the evening s’mores and ice cream social. We stayed in one of the camping cabins with a sleeping loft and it was perfect for our group of four, with room to spare. The cabin and the bathrooms were exceptionally clean. The location was great right on the river, and an easy drive into Littleton for a nice lunch and shopping afternoon. The KOA was bustling with late August campers, so don’t go here if you are looking for a super quiet place, but if you’ve got kids they will be begging to go back as soon as possible.

This is one of the cleanest, most beautiful KOAs we have stayed at! The staff is super friendly and they have so many kid friendly activities! It was pretty quiet except for some noise from the road…but everything else made up for that! There are some amazing tent sites as well!!! The views of the river were beautiful and swimming in the river was even better! We will be back!

Nice laid back campground (which we really like). We had a riverfront site and you can hear the water running all the time. Quite nice for sleeping. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Restrooms are spotless and they have some great tent sites if you are into that sort of thing 🙂We already booked another trip up her for October. One issue which is why I didn't give them 5 ⭐ was the WiFi. Our site had pretty poor reception. Yes, we are camping so internet shouldn't be a priority but the cell service is poor in this area (as you'd expect in the mtns.) But we use WiFi calling so it was an issue for us

Beautiful view & use of the river, a lovely spot to stay. Can hear automobile noise from Rt. 302 but the location is convenient and beautiful. The waterfront sites are the best! Dog park was a great spot to let our dog off the leash and play with her cousins. Very dog-friendly campground and everyone was respectful and friendly. At-site daytime trash pickup was a huge convenience!

We spent the 4th of July there, adjacent to another couple we know. First time at “KOA Holiday”. Thoroughly enjoyed the facilities. Site was clean and had plenty of room for set up (35’ w 3 slides). 50 amp sites and most of the sites are full hookups. We were close to Rte 301, but the road noise is not something the owners have control over. The staff was about as pleasant as could be. Regular laps around on the carts, picking up loose sticks and paper that got away. It’s a small park, but if you have kids, that’s a plus, as they aren’t usually out of sight. We really would recommend this Place.

Stayed at this KOA for the first time and absolutely loved the river front sites. You don’t find a lot of sites that close to a river with full hookups. The campground was very clean, had a nice play area for kids, lots of activities and the staff was incredibly friendly. The proximity to Littleton is great as well. We will definitely be back next year.

Not the biggest KOA but plenty to do and definitely one of the best. It's just a short ride to Littleton which is a beautiful picturesque New England town that is walkable. The staff at the KOA were unbelievably friendly and attentive. It is the cleanest campground I've ever stayed in. They have large private bathrooms/showers that are constantly being cleaned. I would highly recommend staying here and will do so again.

Overall - an awesome experience camping experience! Highly recommended for all types of campers. There are really nice river-front spots and some more primitive, plus cabins. The river is awesome for tube floating or lounging. The bathrooms are clean and wood/ice can be delivered to your site. The new owners are incredibly accommodating and the improvements are nice. We look forward to returning soon!

This was one of the nicest KOAs we’ve ever stayed in, and we’ve been to hundreds. We came for one night and it was clean, well tended, classy, and full of amazing activities for the kids. The river was gorgeous, very dog friendly. Both cabins and RV sites were excellent. Only two minor complaints - WiFi was spotty, and, while most employees were super friendly, one woman (the owner I think) was very prone to shouting at kids (“stay off the grass”, “playground is closed”, “you can’t ride your bikes past dusk without a light”, etc). Otherwise, a wonderful stay!

This is a sweet campground. Tents and RVs right in a river. The staff is so helpful. Bob helped me get my trailer up and running in my first outing. The bathrooms are simply the nicest and cleanest I have ever used while at a campground. Would definitely go back! Not too far from the Franconia notch area and Littleton has some nice shops and great restaurants.

Exceptional little campground, very very clean, bathrooms are high quality and cleaned daily, drinking water is surprisingly good, camper sites are pretty close together but you never feel like anyone is snooping or in your face. Definitely try to get a water spot, the river is gorgeous to sit next to (or in). Tent sites are decent sized, with traditional look. The staff is very very nice, probably the best part of the campground itself. Small social gatherings, swimming pool, and fun for the kids all make this place a must stay.A note, if you are looking for rustic, isolated camping, this is not necessarily the place for you (I'd suggest the dispersed campground on route 3 in Twin Mountain/Bethlehem, they are free and very far apart, with a bathroom/shower a few miles down the road at Zealand Falls campground). The only complaint I have, which is insignificant in the grand scheme, is the internet is very poor. I don't mind not having internet while camping, but they do advertise it as available and everyone was struggling to stay connected for more than an hour, definitely doesn't detract from the campground though.Overall 5/5 stars, great place for the family or for a small group. After thought: seriously the bathrooms are amazing, we are coming back ne, t year partially due to how nice they are.

Very nice, clean and friendly campground!! We spent 5 nights here and we were very pleased! It’s a great base camp to visit the white mountains and surrounding areas. It’s very conveniently located. Tubing in the river to cool off and a nice refreshing pool. WiFi was decent enough to check things and such. Road noise is definitely noticeable but not really a huge issue. Shopping and supplies located not far down the road. If we visit New Hampshire again we will definitely stay here!!

This is the place we have been looking for. Calm relaxing atmosphere. The best campground staff we have ever met. Kathy Doris ,Susan Don and Bob could not have been nicer. The pool was clean and the river was warm. Great location just a short ride to downtown Littleton and Franconia. This will be a place we will go every summer.

We spent Labor Day Weekend at Littleton/Franconia Notch KOA. It is beautiful location. We had a site by the river and the kids loved being able to walk down and play in the water. The staff were great and there were tons of activities for the family. We will definitely be making this campground a permanent fixture on our annual camping calendar.

We were lucky to have 3 nights stay there during the peak foliage of White Mountain National Forest. With fall colors everywhere, the campground was very beautiful. The site overall was very clean and well managed. The staffs were friendly. The only concern I would say was the missing of the cell signal. Lucky that the campground provided WiFi was working just fine, even though it was sometime on and off. It will be appreciated if the host can improve the WiFi signal strength a little bit.

I couldn't say more good things about this KOA. Great location, beautiful natural surroundings. Spacious sites, not one on top of the other. Well maintained facilities. The service was AMAZING! Bob helped me out with a problem with my RV and was crawling around and under it for over two hours trying to help me fix it. The activities are great for kids with ice cream socials, karaoke, bikes to rent. It was an amazing time at an amazing place with amazing people. Thank you KOA Franconia team!

Nice location. Cabins were kind of close together and right up front, but cozy. If they were oriented a little differently it wouldn’t be as cramped together. The river running by is pleasant and some cabins have great views facing it. Conveniently close to Walmart and many restaurants. Pool is nice, camp store has a nice communal area with a pool table. Laundry facilities were clean and reasonably priced. Bathrooms were nice and remodeled and shower area was clean with enough space to move around. We would definitely return.
