Great place to stop for a grab and go meal! The owners are so friendly and welcoming and the food is fantastic. I had the teriyaki chicken with mashed potatoes and my partner had the burrito and they were both delicious. The food is made with quality ingredients and the portions are perfect, you definitely get what you pay for. The shop is also great if you're looking for groceries that are harder to find in a mountain town. They offer a wide selection of local snacks and options for people with different dietary needs. The grocery prices are a bit higher than a traditional supermarket, but they are on par for a place that sells similar natural foods fare.Our favorite part wasn't the food though, it was a wide selection of cat toys from local New England artisans! They offer a wide range of options for cats (and dogs) of different sizes and interests, and at reasonable prices. Such a rare find and quite a treat for folks looking to pick up a souvenir for a furry friend! Our cat Garth loves his new catnip toy. This place is a gem and we look forward to stopping by here on our future adventures in the Whites!

This place is absolutely fantastic! My boyfriend and I stopped in for a late lunch and were blown away by the service here and the taste and quality of the food. The guy behind the counter- wish we got his name, he was wonderful- made my boyfriend an off menu vegetarian wrap that he loved, and I had the best jambalaya I’ve ever eaten- a must try!!! On our way out we heard another couple saying this place has the best lobster roll they’ve ever had, so I went back the next day to try it and it did not disappoint! Highly recommend stopping by for lunch, and browsing through the unique groceries they carry. If we’re in the area again we’ll definitely be back!!

Delicious and fresh food, conveniently located for a quick bite after visiting Flume Gorge. The whole grain bread was lovely and soft, light too. We also enjoyed a chicken burrito that was on special, served hot and really enjoyable. Had a tiny bit of sticker shock initially at the price of the sandwich ($10.89), but that disappeared when I saw the thick cut of high quality ham. Staff were friendly! All in all, very happy to have found here.

I was driving through the area and needed a quick bite. I love lobster rolls and this did not disappoint! Took only a few minutes to get it after placing my order. It was more on the expensive side, but had lots of lobster. Highly recommend!

After a bad experience at Portland Maine for a lobster roll at Luke’s , I decided to give this place a chance when I was passing by and it was one of the best lobster rolls I had, the bun was toasty buttery and so much lobster and the price was less than the lobster roll I had in Maine. It was so delicious!! you have to try it !!

They have the best BLTs with heirloom tomatoes, fresh local lettuce and crispy bacon... and Strawberry PB&Js are the best on the east coast. This place doesn't disappoint and the staff is proud of their local produce. They also carry more of my favorite niche products than the average Whole Foods Market, like the Epic paleo meat bars from Austin, TX. Great service, great food, great store.

Love, love, love this place. The sandwiches and always good - the lobster rolls are among the best I've ever had. Also a great stop for produce, and specialty groceries and snacks. I was able to find the alkaline water I love, and they had some amazing desserts too.

Amazing spot! Sandwiches are made to order and great when they are available. A small but well curated selection of local beer. Loved the local farm fresh eggs! Give this local spot a shot next time you're going to the market

We had an amazing lobster roll for $14.99. It was loaded with lobster claws and just a touch of mayo. The store is very eclectic with a huge assortment of healthy foods, chips, salsas,spreads, cookies and brownies, as well as honey sticks. We were lucky to be able to eat outside, no inside seating. Staff wad friendly and helpful.

We ordered a Turkey and blueberry cheese sandwich to share $7. It was a good size for a light lunch. We also bought some tea & organic ginger ale.This store is definitely targeting a healthy, clean-eating crowd. The employees were very cheerful and accomodating. They were able to recommend other places to see & things to do while on vacation.

Love this place! We always stop here for lunch when hiking in the area. Their sandwiches are amazing and the staff is always really friendly. One day I went in for to grab a sandwich to take on a hike with me. I was chatting with one of the owners as he made the sandwich and after he had wrapped it up in paper I had mentioned that I planned to have the sandwich on the summit, so he took it back and wrapped it in plastic for me so it would't get soggy. I thought that was a really nice touch!

Fantastic lobster rolls! They also have a large selection of other goodies including some homemade candies - try the PB cups. Some locally grown fresh produce. Specialty sodas. Friendly service with nice outdoor seating.

Great little natural and organic market place with an added bonus of a sandwich and salad window.My daughter had a burrito and she said it was the best she had, and I had the BLT which was fabulous, for something so simple, it to was probably the tastiest Ive had. Good stuff and great products are sold here.

We were up north for a weekend concert and picked up lunch two days in a row. We got salads the first day and sandwiches the second day. Everything was delicious and we would not hesitate to go back and order again

My husband, 2 children and I stopped in at this shop/restaurant today...we had such a great lunch (lobster rolls were delicious). The owner came out while we were eating and answered some questions about local attractions and fun things to do. Very helpful, pleasant staff. I would highly recommend the Purple Tomato!
