I went through the easiest most wonderful process in adopting the newest member to our family, AdahJane. She is an absolutely stunning marked white ferret. She is the perfect addition to our family and thanks to Steve’s Pet Shoppe, mainly their store associate Ashley, everything went smooth as butter. Ashley was professional, straightforward, caring, and kind! She was so much more than I ever expected from a pet store associate. She most definitely went above and beyond for me! This place is really great. The lady was so kind. She spent a lot of time with us as we decided on our new pet. She told us about each guinea pig's personality. She taught my daughter how to hold them. She gave advice on feeding them. She even loved on the guinea pigs before we took them home. I feel great knowing our pets were well loved while they were there. Great place to buy from. You know they are well taken care of. My guinea pig was a pet that was surrendered. I love that about Steve's also! Their prices are fair too. Over all it was the best experience I've ever had at a pet store.

Wonderful workers and quaint little pet shop that has pretty much everything you need. Ashley helped me save my betta fish and got him unstuck even though he passed away from the trauma after he got out she accomplished something I couldn't. They go way above and beyond. Then the following week she helped me choose my new white dragon scale betta i named Draco. Thanks guys for being awesome

This will be our new pet store! After the big box store was out of an item we desperately needed for our sick cat, I called Steve's and they immediately found what I needed and offered to hold it for us since it was the last one they had in stock! Not to mention their staff was so sweet and asked about our cat when I went in to pick the item up!

Wonderful service, clean environment! I was there twice in one week to show my mom once and then bring my kiddos another day. Two different employees helped me. Both were truly caring and helpful with letting us hold the puppies and kitten without making us feel like they were trying to sell them to us! They actually had a sign up were you can sit with the animals that says "get an animal at a shelter first if you can". That's a kind pet store!!!!

Steve's pet shoppe is a great place to go for all your pet needs. The staff is always so great and very very friendly ! Today I needed cat food and because of the unfortunate virus situation they are doing curbside pick up. Ashley was the employee I spoke with on the phone and she was so nice and got my transaction to go through and right when I pulled in I just had to call and she brought it out all ready for me. Thank you Steve's pet shoppe for being an essential and taking care of your customers!

I always enjoy the staff at Steve's and at their sister store, Lebanon Pet & Aquarium. Interesting people, really interested in pets, always eager to help out. And then there's the usual store stuff: they have what I need, when I need it, and they've got good return policies. Good selection, high quality stuff, no junk, no gimmicks.

Just got 3 rats from there, also bought a puppy from there a couple months ago. The employees are very nice and informative. They helped load the cage for the rats into my car and even helped me choose the things I would need to get started.

We love our hamster and the new set-up we got for her! This little pet shop was so cute and the staff was super knowledgeable and friendly! It may be a small shop but they have everything for your pet needs!

I like this pet store quite a lot. It's not as large as the other store in town (owned by the same people I believe), but the aquarium room has good variety and the store has pretty much everything you need. For small mammals and reptiles, you may find the store lacking in options, though.

We have been looking for a male ferret for a couple weeks now. Went to our local petco and didnt like the set up or how they interacted with the pets. Called this place this morning and spoke to a very helpful lady(ashley i believe) she said they had one male left and was more than happy to have it ready for me when i arrived(hour drive) when we arrived the whole experience was fantastic. The ferret is extremely loving and playful and was well taken care of. The lady there helped us get everything we needed. I will take that hour drive everytime knowing the customer service they have there!!

Small pet store, so they don't always have what I'm looking for, however the staff are fantastic - friendly and knowledgeable! They do have a very decent selection of items, plus Betta fish, lizards, rabbits and birds. Occasionally, they have kittens or puppies for adoption.

Privately owned pet shop, where I first found my toy poodle 18 years ago, bred locally so she was NOT a product of the puppy mills! Mary, the longtime sales person, is a gentle spirit who is the best resource and I trust her advice and suggestions implicitly. Support local businesses please!!

This is a fairly small and not particularly low priced pet store with good quality products. They actually sell dogs and cats (puppies, kittens), which I haven’t seen in a long time. The staff was friendly and helpful.

While I am an advocate for rescuing dogs and cats, I also support reputable breeders and there is NO reputable breeder I know of that would sell their litters through a pet store. Steve's claims that their pets come from "local breeders" but refuses to disclose any specifics (I know several people who have asked directly). These situations could definitely be along the lines of a puppy (or kitty) mill. Maybe someday they'll join the multitudes of other pet stores that no longer sell dogs and cats and instead partner with local humane societies and rescues to help get animals adopted.

Animals seem very happy and they have a reptile specialist who works there. Had some puppies and kittens that were a good age. Didnt feel like they were from a mill. Cant wait to go back

The dogs/cats being sold here are typically mixed breed or poorly bred "AKC certified" pets charged for ridiculous prices and do not include spay or neuter. Please go to a humane society to find a healthier pet for a lower cost and actually make a difference rather than supporting a for profit business that can't even be bothered to buy from reputable breeders.

They moved and didnt tell us. Had no idea where they were because they werent set up yet. Very limited and tight parking. Hard to get in and out,so be careful. Cut back on some of their stock.

A nice, basic pet shop. It was quiet and pleasant. Not a very large fish selection, but the fish they do have looked healthy.
