Poor customer service…. At register. Grabbed some last minute holiday shopping items. All off same sale rack, same colors different sizes. All marked on sale. They couldn’t figure out how to get the sale price… so in the end wanted to charge double the sale price. Entire purchase canceled .

News to me they no longer honor lifetime warranty at LL Bean. This LL Bean refused to follow their legendary replacement policy. I am deeply disappointed. Their staff was abrupt and made excuses as to why they could not replace that I know for sure does not match the corporate policy found online. This store does not follow the corporate policies and I am deeply disappointed in the rude staff to top it off. I do not suggest anyone shop here. Eventually I left feeling disappointed in LL Bean as a whole. They have lost a life long customer. Their rude customer service was very unexpected, however, they wouldn't even help me with my inquiry about just repurchasing the products telling me "they may be in the store, just look around"

Bob in the shoe department was absolutely amazing. My daughter just moved back from Virginia and he was so kind, listened and directed her to the right boots, he was so wise about the shoes, sizing and what shoes/ boots were best for the needs she was trying to meet.And he had a flannel shirt to boot! Which was so wonderfully New England authentic!!And when he headed to lunch he introduced us to another team member to help who was absolutely lovely thank you Alaina!!

It's LL Bean! Nice location. We make it a tradition to go to Powerhouse for Christmas shopping. They also have/had a great Halloween Day display and experience.

The young man welcomed me to the store and asked "if there is anything I can help you with?" He directed me to the area I was interested helpful in helping me decide which product, gave me time to myself to look over the choices, and when I was ready to purchase he was there to. Afterwards after all paid still at the counter I asked about a certain discount and I qualified for it. He accepted the return and then started the charge all over again with the discount. That was excellent customer services. And I love my purchase.

Customer service for this whole company is incredible. One of the retail leads at this location pulled an absolute miracle to help me return a pair of shorts. I spoke with customer service on the phone and everyone involved was so understanding and patient, and at some point more determined than I was. The quality of the shorts was lacking but the customer service throughout ll bean makes me want to continue shopping with this company. Thanks so much Duane!

Always a good experience for me, though some have reported an issue of course. Have shopped there since the 80s. Always seems to have some kind of sale going to offset their bit higher prices. Nice New England clothes, camping and more selection. Easy return and/or $refund/store credit policy. Friendly & helpful staff online and in stores.

Beans didn't have the pants I was looking for. I understand that the place doesn't have the space to have a huge selection but more variety would be nice. On a more positive note the staff was polite and very helpful. I gave it three stars because of the lack of pants but my rating could improve if more variety was offered of pants

Everyone seems very nice here and it’s a nice store in a great location but! I fully do not understand why the LL Bean retail stores do not carry plus sizes. I went here to try on a jacket I have been eyeing online and there they have up to 3xl online. I always thought it was just a fluke that I could never find my size at LL Bean stores but this time they had a full stock of sizes for XXSmall! to XL and that’s it. In a country where over 50% of people are overweight, whether good or bad, you would think if they are going to carry non-standard sizes in store it might be the plus sizes and not an XXSmall? We also live in a world where everyone in the outdoor industry seems to have decided that fat people can’t do spots, but of all “outdoor” brands one would think LL bean would be the ones to have some plus sizes to cater to their customer base. I guess not. As a new Englander I am sort of a die hard LL Bean fan despite some things that have been tarnishing their reputation recently, but this is leaving a bad taste in my mouth. I deserve to try things on in a store too. I feel like not having all the sizes is just another form of punishment for people who “don’t have the right size body”

Hard to say anything bad about LL Bean, but this store in particular is excellent. Had a rather complicated return issue and they were able to get it sorted quickly, throw in an extra 10% discount and be positive the whole time as well. Also a great selection of everything you need in a clean, well lit store.

This store is always clean and well staffed with employees who are cheerful and ready to assist. I enjoy shopping here. I am generally able to find stock in whatever I am looking for. I wish they would have better sales prices for the frugal side of me but their quality helps soften the price tag. :)

We love L.L.Bean, and will continue to be ardent supporters of this company. However, our recent visit to this location was disappointing. The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff was noticeably absent, there were no dedicated checkout line, but all 4 cashiers were handling the long line of returns. Inquiring on availability of a checkout only line was ignored. We'll not be visiting this store in the future.

Excellent experience! The gentleman who helped us purchase Cross Country Skis was extremely knowledgeable. He made the process very easy and comfortable. His work experience and enthusiasm for the sport translated extremely well for me as a consumer hoping to buy the proper equipment for my needs. Then to learn the package was reduced to an additional 25% this weekend was the icing on the cake. He was patient and definitely caring how about what was the best equipment for our needs! I wish I knew his name but he did work for the Park Service.

Good size store but not much for the guys in the equipment area. People were pleasant but went in looking for gifts for those with gear and not much to pick from.
