The espresso-based drinks were good. The muffins were good. The rest of the food was also good...once we got it. They seemed to have lost our order. I realize everyone has off days, but judging by reviews it seems this occurs on a semi-regular basis. We're just passing through, but we'd go again just because they aren't a chain and they obviously go out of their way to highlight and support local businesses and artists.Final verdict: go, but don't expect it to be fast and don't hesitate to speak up if you think your order has been overlooked.Parking available. Limited seating. Restroom available. Some gf and df items available.

I like this place as it had a cozy atmosphere, nice quality music and a fairly good selection of food. Coffee was pretty average and the barista didn’t mention about the types of blends they offer. It’s a quick stop for breakfast or a romantic date as the sandwiches and paninis are good, little expensive even when you consider quality over quantity. There is still room for improvement on their menu.Employees are friendly and pleasant and the bathrooms are fairly tidy.I would recommend this place around the area.

The cafe is a nice stop for coffee, tea or a quick breakfast or lunch bite. It has the potential of being a very quick stop if you engage the drive through option or a leghtier trip that can involve some work too. Their WiFi free and speed suffices most work related needs.Their tea options are plenty and offer high quality prepackaged sashes. They don't have loose tea, and they DON'T do refills! If you are looking for a VEGAN meal you WON'T find it here.Bathroom is clean and well maintained.

I got a chicken panini, it was ok. Ordered double espresso. First they forgot about my order then they gave me something that that was far away from espresso. It was just half full cup with some coffee. I went to talk with barista and instead to try to fix the situation she just said "I can confirm that this coffee came out from the machine" That means she has NO idea what espresso means.

Ordered online while passing through. I ordered a grilled bfast burrito, and an everything and sesame bagel with cream cheese on the side (since I wasn’t eating the bagels right away). I got a plain bagel and a sesame bagel with cream cheese on them (haphazardly spread), and an ungrilled burrito. The burrito was fine, the sesame bagel was not good (dense and bready) and the plain bagel was decent (tasted like a bagel with bagel consistency). But with so much of the order done wrong, it was hard to enjoy anything. It was empty of customers with three employees behind the counter when I walked in, so I’m not sure why the food and accuracy felt like they were rushing. This isn’t a place that takes pride of ownership in their product.

We waited 20 minutes for an iced coffee, a lavender fog, and a muffin. They were pretty busy, and at least 3 different employees (maybe managers?) walked into the kitchen and grabbed coffees without helping the two staff members who were clearly swamped. The iced coffee was warm and we had to ask for more ice, and we gave up on the muffin. The only reason this isn’t a single star is that the prices are decent. Go to Lucky’s instead.

My favorite coffee in the area. I don't go to Starbucks, I go to Jake's, better customers service and amazing lattes. Buy local and support local. Sometimes, if it's a busy morning you will not get the perfect product from them, but I still thinking that they are the best in the area.

A car wash/coffee house?! Quiet place to work that isn't packed. Tasty reasonably priced croissant breakfast sandwich, and very kind helpful staff. Bring cash ! Their card reader doesnt allow you to tip!

My girlfriend loves it and goes there everyday! Mango Ice tea with less ice, and a gluten free bagel! I'm more of a cinnamon raisin guy myself, and they do it well, coming from a Jersey born dude.Edit:In the past year, the consistency and cleanliness has decreased drastically. One particular employee, despite the challenges, was fantastic and always ensured our food was correct and safe for our food allergies. The employee personally remade many orders to correct mistakes including poor kitchen hygiene. Since reporting and demanding changes in kitchen practice, the employee has been relocated and no changes to policy are evident. Despicable behavior by upper management, I'm disappointed to see the downturn of a good establishment.

As someone from Maine with a love for seafood, especially lobster, I can say that Jake's has probably the only good lobster rolls in this area from leb to Newport. Their coffee is great and with a service to match, this place is great and the owner should be very proud of his employees. I hope their pay is good, they deserve it.

There's no Starbucks in this area. DD is all over but I don't like their mildew flavored coffee. I've been to Jake's quite a few times recently; usually, I order the Sumatra but I have gotten a latte and a Meatless Jack breakfast wrap as well. Today my coffee was stronger than it has been. The latte was okay; I didn't get any added flavors. The breakfast wrap had far too much cheese but was good. This place is always a mess when I go in, which has always been after the lunch rush. The place always looks like it has never been cleaned; the floor is always sticky, tables dirty, and the area where the cream and sugar is kept is filthy. It really is quite gross. The employees are difficult to figure out. They seem really nice but also have an air about them like they couldn't care less. I really like a good coffee and will probably continue to get a Sumatra from them in the afternoon since it is directly across the street from where my parents' doctor is located but this is NOT a place I recommend due to the atmosphere.

The bagel was fine but third time the latte sucked - too hot and no foam . Bitter. Also it took 13 min from time of order in drive thru until it came out with no one ahead of me.

When you travel for work you drink a lot of sub par coffee; from hotels to airports. I was looking for a "real" cup of coffee. Not your overly sweetened desert in a cup "coffee" but just a coffee. The coffee here is good coffee. Like as soon as it hit my palate it made me say out loud, "now that's good coffee." Ridiculous review? Maybe... but those that know can appreciate a good old plain cup of coffee.

I have mixed experiences here. I always come here hungover from a hard night on the town the night before. The food is better than DD and most of the time Starbucks. The coffee not so much. The customer service is what can be iffy. Sometimes you get fun wise cracking staff that can read your hungover mind, while other days they can be distant and unfriendly. The last time I was here though I had a great experience. Their food options are quite impressive for a coffee shop. I recommend eating inside opposed to using the drive thru. The facilities are generally pretty clean.

Found this great little coffee shop on our way to Burlington and it ended up being the perfect place. Had one of the best mocha lattes I've ever had. Not too sweet and the perfect strength with three shots of espresso. They also had an amazing sandwich called the Bang Bang which had buffalo chicken and fresh mozzarella. Definitely worth stopping in to if you are driving by or in the area.

Really great find! Driving through NH and Googled coffee shops ... so glad this one popped up. Had a latte and egg sandwich on Portuguese bread ... both really good. Staff is super nice! They even had some home made dog treats for my travel buddy. Recommend for sure.

LOVED IT!!! Excellent service, absolutely delicious lunch sandwiches & coffee. I wish I'd gone here MUCH SOONER! But now that I've been here (and already made return visits), it's high on my list for quick meals & catching up with friends over coffee.

First off people giving one stars for not being open, or reviewing the car wash instead, or just giving no explanation is ignorant and crumby. Second, it is VERY hard to find breakfast in this area besides diners or fast food/chains so keep this in mind. They serve till 3pm but not on weekends (bummer I know). Third, yes this place has a good selection but there are areas of improvement. However most places around here are the same or worse. For the vibe of the store, you’d imagine being treated with hand ground coffee by a slim mustached barista with hand made specialty bagels and deserts; but hey we’re not in Brooklyn you hipsters so please go support your local joint that does a pretty darn good job. They do get some of there baked goods from the 'famous' Lou's as well as other local joints. So just be grateful your not spending your money at Dunkin’ Donuts or Panera Bread. P.s. they are VERY dog friendly. My pooch loves this place so much. I make it here once a week for Wednesday or Thursday.

BEST coffee. ☕❤ Beats all the chains hands down! Walked into the store and was greeted with Big smiles. Fast and friendly. Wish we had one in Florida.

The quality of the products are fine but it will cost a fortune and doesn’t end up being worth it. The website says the croissant breakfast sandwiches are $3.09, but I was charged over $5. I also ordered a medium iced latte with caramel, Irish cream, and oat milk which added up to $8 for a tiny cup because they charge $1 per syrup pump and over TWO dollars for a splash of oat milk. Such a rip off.

This is the place to go if you want good coffee and great breakfast sandwiches. The staff are very friendly and the dining area is bright and clean. They also have a large assortment of gluten free options, including muffins, bread, wraps, and bagels!

Jakes is my go to place for a smoothie in the upper valley. You can’t beat their smoothies and prices! Peach would be my recommendation for anybody looking to try! I average about 1-2 trips a week for Jake’s smoothies and wish I could go even more! They also have the spiciest breakfast burrito I’ve experienced in this area, seriously. Thank you to the staff that consistently kills it every time I go! I can’t recommend enough!
