I used to go to the CVS in Hanover, but after a few poor experiences there, I took my business to the West Leb CVS, and I'm glad I did. The pharmacy's customer service is terrific, and even when they are getting slammed the line moves right along. I also like the ability to use the drive-thru option. The staff is friendly, they make a point to get to know me, and are always helpful.

Had two entirely pleasant experiences at this CVS pharmacy within a single week. No one was there on a Thursday night. Pharmacist had a pleasant demeanor and was super helpful with insurance issues and answering questions. Tried multiple different avenues to solve my problem, and ended up getting a GoodRx discount. Will be coming here again, and don’t understand the negative reviews.

I arrived 15 minutes late for my vaccine appointment, apologized, and readily agreed to wait 15 minutes until the next cohort since the fault was mine. Then the clerk told me she couldn't use my out of state insurance. This was surprising since I had entered the insurance info online when I made the appointment and have never had an issue in the 30 years I've lived here. Having been turned away for my appointment, I then went to Walgreens, made an appointment for two days later, and asked them to check that the insurance would work. It did... The woman actually laughed at the idea that there would be any problem for the covid shot thanks to a state program. Wanting to get the shots done with, I went back to CVS and explained to the clerk that I thought I'd been turned away in error. The red haired female pharmacist yelled brusquely from her central podium that I'd been 25 minutes late, she wouldn't give me the shots, and I should go wherever it is I'd gone before. I was shocked at her rudeness and inconsideration. I will certainly take her advice and avoid using her pharmacy in the future, though.

Worst customer service I’ve ever encountered at the Pharmacy, where the young woman behind the counter, wearing headwear, kept on rolling her eyes while I was trying to explain the medication I needed and when I noticed that I was being overcharged, I tried to refer to the label on the shelf that clearly showed a lower price, she again rolled her eyes and said "that's impossible!". Well, someone was very misinformed there and it wasn't me. She didn’t even try to take a look at the label or ask someone about it.Besides, she looked like she didn’t want to be there such was her lack of knowledge and bad attitude.

Found everything I needed except CVS Dairy relief caplets (& the more expensive Lactaid brand. Manufacturers issue??? Temperamental self checkout machines. Sales associates patient & helpful. Pharmacy very good... best if you know ahead of time when meds ate due for refill or if difficult to fill give extra days for availability. Of note, no public bathroom.

Cannot say enough good things about the two on in the pharmacy this evening. Scott and Sherry are always so pleasant to deal with in general. When I walk in and see they’re working, I know I’ll be greeted with nothing but smiles and the best genuine service every time. Oh, and walk out of the door with the prescriptions in hand, in a timely manner.Thank you for being great humans!

Waited in line over 30 minutes, as usual, then told to come back in 30 minutes. Got delayed by car problems and got to the pharmacy at 7:02pm. As there were a couple of customers in line still I waited until the woman finished with their orders. She then told me and another customer they were closed. I have a 50 mile round trip to use this pharmacy. That mattered not to her. I would have been home by that time if the computer supplied accurate information.This is not new either. The computer supplies erroneous information. Why,.It’s a mystery to me. Staff and online information do not match up. When that happens , staff acts like it’s the customers fault. This type of treatment by pharmacy staff is not new to me. One time a staff member said my medicine was ready and waiting. When I went the next day I found out that it was not ready. A different staff member told me that I could come back the next day and have that staff member straighten it out. When I said I had better things to do than make 50 mile round trips to the pharmacy, I was told to quiet down or leave. I was furious! And I am furious again! This store has the worst staffed pharmacy that I have ever dealt with in my 66 year old life. I will be switching very soon, I have had enough.

By far, the worst pharmacy experineces. 99% of the time they don't answer their phones. On several occasions I have driven over to the pharmacy while still on hold and they aren't busy at all. In fact, during most of these occasions my phone call was ignored for the entire time I was at the pharmacy. I have complained about this many times and there has yet to be any improvements made. In addition, they never have things ready when they are supposed to.Lastly, I read in a previous review that the lady with the blue hair was helpful. I have to say that's a joke. She is completely unprofessional and has a serious attitude problem. Her customer service skills are beyond terrible. If this was a one time thing, then I wouldn't be bringing it up, but she has been rude every time I have had to deal with her.CVS definitely needs more help or they need to review the quality of their current employees.

After waiting 15 minutes in the drive through line the pharmacy tech disappeared as I got to the window. I repeatedly rang the bell for service. After another 5 minutes with no response, I parked the car and went inside. The Good Rx card that I had used before was declined. This resulted in $47 charge instead of the expected $14. When I returned to the car I discovered that the prescription was filled incorrectly. I went back to the pharmacy counter where the pharmacist argued that the prescription was correct. A surly blue haired women told me it would be 20-30 minutes to redo the prescription. I had asked for one box of ear drops and they had filled the entire prescription with multiple boxes. This didn’t seem like something that would take 30 minutes to fix. The pharmacist and the blues haired woman were rude, took no responsibility and blamed me. This is not the first time I have been treated like that at this pharmacy but it is the last time.

I used to love this pharmacy but after an experience I had with them today I will be switching pharmacies. I had gotten a text that my prescriptions were ready to be picked up so I woke up early to pick up my prescriptions before work (I work night shift 7p-7a) and even though I was told they were ready it turned out that a portion of them weren’t actually packed due to them needing another shipment for me to get my full amount, since I had to be to work I told them I’d come back another day. Today I went in to go pick up my medications and I only got 1 of the 3 that I needed. I asked about the other 2 and was told that the 1 I was given is all they had for me. I knew that wasn’t right so I tried explaining that I got a text that they were all ready but as I was trying to ask her to recheck the tech cashing me out just repeated “you’ll have to go to consultation and speak with the pharmacist” and again when I tried to speak I was just interrupted and rudely told to go speak to the pharmacist. I was really thrown off by this techs unwelcoming, uncooperative and rude attitude, the interaction made me extremely upset so I just ended up just leaving all together and cried in my car because of it. I decided to call my doctor’s office to see if I could get the script sent to a different pharmacy instead. My doctor’s office ended up calling CVS for me to see what the issue was and as it turns out my prescription was ready waiting to be picked up, but apparently I have two addresses under my name and the medications I was looking for were just under my childhood address. All it would’ve taken was a minute of troubleshooting for this tech to see this. It’s really not that hard to actually listen to what a customer is telling you and attempt to help them.

Normally, I am not one to complain or care to give a review but this pharmacy truly is the most fustrating pharmacy to deal with. I have gotten my prescription filled here over a handful of times and calling it in was over a 30 minute wait to reach someone every single time. They promise you a time it will be ready and then extend that time once you arrive to another 30-45 minutes every single time - one time even extending it twice for 30 minutes after the initial call in. I also notice other customers complaining about prescriptions not being ready while I wait in the aisle-long line to pick it up. I understand they may be short staffed but this pharmacy is extremely inconsistent, unprofessional and inconvenient. I highly recommend NOT going to this pharmacy

So it is only fair to recognize that this is two places in reality, a pharmacy and a health and beauty store. A little over a year ago it was the best pharmacy in town but since then the pharmacist has changed and it has gone from best to worst. They cant keep my medication in stock, they wont answer the phone when it gets the least bit busy and it is generally understaffed. The store has stayed on par with the others in the area with prices no better or worse than surrounding stores. My recommendation would be to try Walgreens instead.Update 8/30/23: So Walgreens is still a good option but has not had certain meds lately so I was forced to try Hannafords Pharmacy. To be honest with you Im thinking about changing because it is rarely busy and has what I need everytime. My only complaint is they close for lunch 2-2:30 (I think those are correct hours) and I always seem to go during those times, lol. More my problem than theirs. Lastly, certain meds arent covered by insurance and I have found they have very good prices on those meds especially when I use my 'Goodrx" discount card. Definitely a must have if you dont have insurance. God Bless.

Every time i call no matter what time of the day it is I'm waiting for over 30 minutes. I have a medicine that I CAN'T run out of, they were supposed to contact my insurance and call me back. Its been 3 days and I now only have 2 doses left. I just called and thankfully someone made it process but she wasn't even aware that anyone was supposed to call me back, it isn't okay to mess with peoples medications like this. If you say you're going to fix the situation and call somebody back CALL THEM BACK. Absolutely horrible.

Came in today to pickup a prescription. Went to the pharmacy and saw and heard a woman belittling the staff in the pharmacy. Look everyone is indeed short staffed over worked and stressed out because of it. The staff couldnt have been more professional or patient. They apologized to the woman multiple times for whatever her problem was and kept doing their job in a very professional manner. Good for them.

I would give CVS -100 stars if I could. Pharmacy has no help, you wait in a line of 30 people for them to tell you they haven’t filled it yet. They will not fill prescriptions until you come ask, after waiting in line for an hour. You then wait for another hour in line to pick up. Trying to transfer to another pharmacy, but they refuse to answer the phone so that the new pharmacy can never get through for the transfer. Stay away from CVS.

I do NOT like giving bad reviews but it's just that I've never been to a CVS run so abhorrently as this one is run. They have a drive thru they don't use. Not a friendly atmosphere inside and crowded often, long lines especially at the pharmacy. An elderly man got there before they were supposed to go on break and they pulled the gates down on him! Poor guy stayed there until they returned. Corporate needs to look into this, just unacceptable.

Tried to call to determine if they found a pair of reading glasses I might have left at the West Lebanon, NH store. After finally reaching a staff person, clearly more interested in chatting with co workers than with me, it was clear she wasn't going to look or really care to be polite. Easy to do business elsewhere and clearly will from now on.

Sorry but ive been coming to this pharmacy for years. Ive always really liked it. But im DEFINITELY switching pharmacys now. Like its absolutely ridiculous, i get the same perscription EVERY month, i give them several hours before trying to pick up my medication. I get there stand in line for 30 mins to an hour, for them to tell me, its not ready please come back in a half hour. So i come back 35 mins later to stand in line for another 30 mins, for them to tell me oh sorry its not ready please come back in a half hour. So AGAIN i stand in line for 20 mins and to my surpise ITS STILL NOT READY!!! Seriously??? Last month i had antibiotics called in, i gave them a week before i went to get it, they said it wasnt ready so i left and came back 2 days later and they told me they put it back on the shelf so id have to wait in line again to request them to fill it so i can come back and stand in line 4 more times before i can get it.Im sorry this place needs a new system. I do not have 3 hours just to hang out at cvs waiting for my perscription.

I've waited an hour & half for my prescriptions; I waited in line in the store twice & I am now going to the drive thru for the 2nd time. Each time I was told my order will be ready in 15 mins.A slight attitude was given to me by Wes at the register. And there is only 1 line to wait in, so when they tell you 15 more mins you then have to get back in line (which has been 5+ people each time).The woman at the drive thru is super nice!Unfortunately this pharamcy seems understaffed, therefore I will not have my orders sent here anymore.

the service by the pharmacy is worse than I have ever expeienced anywhere. long waits on voicemails that were never pick-up---voicd nails that had an option that allowed -supposedly to speak to the pharmacy that refused to respond to your prompt and finally politely hung up on me. unacceptable to conduct a business this irresposible

If there was any way to rate ABSOLUTELY less then ZERO I would. Why a patient or a provider would be left on HOLD for over an hour and 1/2 is ridiculous. Patients that suffer 😪 from chronic pain due to disease are DEFINITELY being Abused by lack of care,these supposed professionals have no care or concern for their patient's health and Comfort. You can't complain because they don't/won't answer the phone . They will not go out of their way for anyone.

Why can’t I find a decent pharmacy in this area!? I transferred a script from Rite Aid 2 days ago. Well, I tried. The snotty, no personality pharmacist assistant said “it would be easier if you had your Dr just call in a new script”( she was annoyed that she had to help me). I told her my Dr was out on Fridays( totally annoyed her).Then she said “well I don’t even know if we have this, we probably won’t have it till Monday” and “even if we have it now, it’ll take a couple days to do this.” I left, totally wondering why I was giving them my business. I decided to call when I got out to my car. I wanted to know if it would be ready in 1 day or 3 or ever!?! After holding over 10 minutes, the pharmacist said it would be ready next day. I couldn’t get it that day, so my husband stopped tonight. They said it would be at least 30 minutes because they had it ready Saturday but now it’s monday and it’s been returned to the shelf. WHAT!? I’m on hold now. OVER 12 MINUTES. I’m so disgusted. I’m moving everything over to Dartmouth tomorrow. What happened to customer service!?

Despicable customer service at the pharmacy. The woman on the phone was incredibly rude and unprofessional. To top it off I called two days in advance and when I went to pick up the script it STILL WASNT READY... Sticking with Walgreens from now on. At least their pharmacy has their act together!

Took them 2 days to fill my prescription. Got a text from them that it was finally ready, only to get there, wait in line for 15 minutes, and tell me it's not ready. Definitely find another pharmacy if you can.
