I have purchased from this store for years now with OK service. Today, my wife made a special 25 minute trip because they said they could match Cabot stain because they are a Cabot dealer. She had just come from Aubachon Hardware in Lancaster, where the service was excellent, but they are no longer a Cabot dealer. Not only did my wife receive very poor customer service, but they also could not match the color because of some equipment problem. On top of it all, after my wife called me saying she was not getting the help she needed, I called the store and spoke with another younger guy who said he would help out. My wife called me back and I could hear the young guy being argumentative and when I called the store back, management gave the phone to him and he argued with me also, rather than shutting up and apoligizing. And no management intervention calling him out for his poor customer service. My wife and I have owned very successful customer service businesses for 33+ years, and the service today was poor. So OK, the young guy who doesn't know how to apologize because they could not take care of a customer's needs, just caused Perras to lose a customer that used to spend a decent amount there every year.

I needed a 6. in. Culvert 20 ft. long. I checked with the first sales woman if they stocked such a thing. Took her just a minute to find one, get the price for me and away I went to out back. The worker quickly directed me to the product and was VERY HELPFUL in helping me load the 20 footer into the back of my Ram pickup. He jumped right in the body and secured it nicely with my straps. Everyone was very pleasant and knowledgeable in their work. I really appreciate all their help and will definitely be backThe price was fair as well!Thanks again!

The workers are very pleasant...the ones I've had the opportunity to deal with anyway. The layout is kinda small, but they seem to have everything you might need. Pricing a little high on some things, but haven't paid anything too outrageous in price. (I don't think anyway.) It's very convenient for my location. I shall return...

Claudette was wonderful. She was super helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. She got the guys she worked with to help us with our mailbox today, by getting them to cut us a piece of lumber to its size. I don't know the guy's name but he was also wonderful and helpful. I really like this Hardware store. It has just about everything and more.Called before I drove the 50 miles to make sure they had the things I wanted. Julia had everthing ready for me when I got there. Very good sale pricing. Great place to shop.

always good service and products. went to other Lancaster hardware store and they wouldn't fill my LP tanks two different occasions. First time said it might thunder and lighting. Skiy was clearing and rain stopped. 2nd time Said it needed re testing. Wrong. Perras found the actual date and filled it both dates actually.

I was sold the wrong item the other day so went back today to exchange (1 hour drive and 2 gallons of gas round trip).They were aloof, curt, condescending, and defensive. I won't be going back. Home Depot is a longer drive but no one had been rude to me there.

Dropped off screens to be repaired 3 weeks ago and paid for them and they haven’t been touched. Paint service was pretty bad and didn’t seem to have any idea what they were doing. Trying to support local business in the area, but might have to go elsewhere.
