Went in with my family to get snacks for school and the lady that works there is very rude. She isn't friendly at all and just not a fun place or welcoming at all. The place was a mess and very unorganized. I will not go back into the store if I see her monte carlo parked outside. I will only continue to go to my local dollar general. So unpleasant what a horrible experience we had

Went in a little before 5, then a little while later, we're being told that the store closed 15 minutes ago (5 pm), and that the doors were already locked. I could hear the worker be kind of rude about it to my kids... until they saw me with them. We checked out and the doors had to be unlocked for us to leave. We saw other people as we were getting in the car also try to go in, because they're supposed to be open until 10 pm. Not sure what the deal was, but if the store is closing at 5, it should be posted, and the worker should've checked the store.

Some workers are very rude and disrespectful. As a family member went in and had trouble and they gave him such a hard time! Maybe instead of accusing a customer maybe you should look at your cameras and determined that YOUR employees were incorrect. Very disappointing.

Again closed, no sign, web says open. Closed more than they are open. Previous are right, shelf prices are always wrong and won't give you that price saying the person updating the shelves isn't up to date, prices charged are correct. Not good, unreliable 10/27 again closed sign says open at 6pm, 615 closed 7pm still not open.

Stay away from this store they’ll take your money and you won’t get a purchase. The cashier Melinda is extremely rude and make up stories. Avoid using checks from your checking account their machines will decline it stating it was refused by the bank, you get no purchases but the amount is paid to them and clears the bank. The bank that “denied“ the check, will tell you the bank never declined the check, the machine read as refused but paid by the bank. No refund and no purchase. Watch out for cashier Melinda, very rude and snobby and looks down on people vs trying to help. Very unprofessional.

Horrible store bad customer service and the manager Barbara will blow smoke talk all nice and how she doesn’t tolerate rude employees and will talk to the district manager but never does. Don’t go to this store and never use a check , the machines will refuse it claiming denied by the bank but the bank says it was never denied and it cleared so you get a charge for no purchase. This is a bad store all around. Go somewhere else you’ll never get your money back and Dollar General is s horrible company with a system that doesn’t work. If you explain your situation and say the account has funds and it’s their machines they call you rude , while they are being extremely rude and the cashier Karen aka Melinda is very rude and unprofessional.Edit: They won’t give a refund that is their error as you can see reading the reviews and it takes going to another Dollar General and that store calling the district office. And they will also, manager Barbara refuses to give you the number to higher up. Stay away from theses stores, Lancaster NH especially and never use a check.

So, it was 12-31-2020I had returned an item that was $40.Because it had electronicall issues.Before I was able to click the cash back "CB" button. The lady at the cash register reached over the counter before I had a chance to do the cash back option.The manager walks over and says it'll be on your credit card in 24-48 hours.1-02-2021No money on the credit card, no pending transactions I decided to give them a call and the lady picked up the phone.Was very rude and unprofessional about how to treat a costumer.I explained in detail 3x what my issue was.She called over for the manager.He got on the phone and was very rude! Unprofessional and hung up the phone.I called a second time and he said we have no control over the cash back button.I tried explaining to him that I didn't touch the button the lady at the register reached over the counter before letting me decide because I thought it was weird that I had to insert my chip into the machine.So, it took me a second to register and she didn't explain.I asked if I could just have the item back and they refused.They then said it should be there by Monday.So, if it isn't there by Monday I'll be calling headquarters.I just don't feel like it's right to cheapskate your customers out of their money.An not giving them their money back an keeping the item.I'll be adding more accordingly.But I wouldn't recommend them AT ALL!!

My son recently went into the store to purchase refills for an air freshener, he bought the wrong one. I went to return the items to try and get the correct one to fit the unit he had, they would not accept a return. If I could give the store lower than a one star I would, will never shop here again. Be mindful of the items you purchase.

Came to NH on vacation. Noticed I got charged twice for the same transaction. Went back to fix it and was told that they couldn't do anything about it. Wonderful end to my vacation.

Sat and waited at the store. It opens at 8 am and noone showed up till 8:01. Nothing but issues at this store. Rude employees who apparently make there own schedules. Close early open late.

Worst stoe ive ever been in the store manger refused to give me a refund on a dvd player i bougth 12 days ago along with my recpict then when i went to the stoe to get my money back they refused and they refused to give me the dirtict mangers phone number so i called a another stoe the where happy to give me his number and.with in 10 minuts i had my 30 in my hand

Best dollar general in my area. Always have everything neat and clean. Shelves are stocked and the manager is really nice.
