RUDEST PHARMACIST EVER! I don't know her name but she's the one from Isreal or Russia; she NEVER EVER EVER smiles, she's got this mean, bit$/y look kn her face all the time and it never chan almost intimidating. Not approachable. And the female store manager of Laconia Rite Aid is beyond rude. I asked if she honor my rewards once that were a day that just expired a day prior and she said I was "stupid for even asking". There was another employee that laughed at me when she said that and then the manager started laughing. I was beyond sickened. I have put in complaints to the corporate, but clearly they do nothing. I don't know how they have their jobs still. I'd be fired if I treated customers that way. This store needs an attitude adjustment and new employees. Out with the old, in with the new! Maybe that's why Rite is going out of business!!!

Went this morning to pick up a few things. No one was at the checkout so I rang the bell. Waited 2-3 minutes before the cashier slowly shuffled out of a nearby aisle, rubbing her eyes. Without a word she started scanning my items and literally tossing them into one large bag. When I asked for a separate bag for a greeting card, she stared at me like I had two heads. At the end of the transaction I wished her a nice day and she shuffled off without a word.

This is the second month I have used Laconia for filling my prescriptions and each time I have noticed that I've not only come up short on pills, but that some my capsules were only half filled, meaning that they were being skimmed from. You need to start drug testing the people that work in your pharmacy.

Two times now Rite Aide has not had my medication in stock . They always say “we will order it “ check back on Monday “ When Monday comes they still don’t have it ! I’m so disgusted with that place . I’m switching all my medication over to CVS ! I called one of my medications in on June 22nd and still no word from them about it . I called Rite Aide customer care to file a complaint!

Person working drive through was very rude waited 20 min no one was in line bars were pulled shut inside from what I could tell. Worker in drive thru came over and yelled at me saying you need to only press the call button once not twice. I said I've waited 20 min and she said now you can wait till tomorrow and walked off. So very rude what if it was an emergency prescription that was needed.

So my prescription for Cephalexin was sent to the Rite Aid Pharmacy in Laconia last night 5/2/22 by the emergency room at Lakes Region General Hospital. Obviously it was too late to pick it up so we had to wait until today and because my husband needed my car for work I decided to have him pick it up on the way home. Just to be safe I decided to call the pharmacy because I never received a confirmation that my prescription was filled which I usually receive a text for. The guy at the pharmacy told me they never received anything from the hospital. I called the hospital up and spoke to the woman in the ER and she put me on hold and ended up calling the pharmacy and confirmed with someone that yes they did receive my prescription and it was already filled. So I messaged my husband and confirm that the guy at the counter obviously lied to me because he didn't know what the heck he was talking about and they did have my meds so he could go down and pick up my medication. My husband gets down there and is told not only from a guy that they have working at the pharmacy but he ended up trying to confirm with somebody else and they apparently didn't check properly because they again told my husband they never received anything from the hospital. They ended up having to call the hospital from the pharmacy and the person in the emergency room gave them the same exact information that they did before when they confirmed that they did have my prescription and lo and behold look Laconia Rite Aid did have my medication. I have a bad kidney infection making me super sick right now and if left untreated it could cause sepsis and become fatal. I was pretty angry over all of it. I'm sorry but if you have somebody that is obviously not exactly mentally capable of working at your pharmacy or is not properly trained you need to either get rid of them or you need to properly train them so that they don't sit there and lie to customers that are in dire need of their medication to survive.Rite Aid

I work at a dental office in Belmont and recently needed to call in an RX for a patient. I tried multiple times to reach a person, the phone just kept ringing. I finally gave up and left a voicemail requesting the RX be filled. came in the next day and attempted to call again around 10:30am just to make sure that they had received the message and the RX was getting processed for the patient in need and AGAIN was not able to get through to a person and was on hold for over 15 minutes before giving up. I know that we are all understaffed right now but it is important that providers are able to confirm that pharmacy has received the RX and patient will be able to get what they need in a timely manner. I'm seriously disappointed and I hope that the patient will be able to get the RX asap.

Not only does the phone not get answered, they close earlier than what is posted online and HIPPA was violated with my teen. I have used Rite aid for years, never had a problem. I work in healthcare and know all to well the shortage issues we are all experiencing, we are call to be professionals. No one should leave your store embarrassed or crying. Ordinarily, I don't speak up, but people have forgotten how to think of others.

Every.SINGLE.time I put my rx refill in on the app for this Rite Aid it never goes through. So - no biggie at first, because technology fails sometimes and then I try to call. Every time I have to push 3 multiple times, listen to the same message over n over and like a previous poster give up after 10-15 minutes. What is happening here?!! This has happened for over a month now. I get staffing might be short but can SOMEONE answer the phone? Ridiculously frustrating. This is not negative to those that work in the pharmacy but to those that get staffing or hiring done. Oh look my 15 minute wait is almost up and so it my break time....😡😤

I was the first one today. I needed the cold & sinus behind the pharmacy counter. The male pharmacist, arrived @ 8am. As he was opening the metal partition, he said, it’s going to be a few minutes. ( all 3 cash draws were on the waiting table outside the pharmacy. I’m sure this isn’t a good thing). A cashier comes in @ 8:10 to help me. The entire time the phone is ringing and he is huffing and puffing and shaking his head. He tells her, “ I arrived at 8 because of the roads.” You sir are a grown man. As a responsible people, we (apparently not you) plan accordingly and it may include being mindful of the weather here in the northeast. I don’t know if there’s hope for you unless the “higher ups” decide to put this store on the closing LIST. Unemployment isn’t the answer. Time to grow up lad.

Exceptional service!!! My husband and I were on vacation from northern Maine and he had forgotten his medications. He’s diabetic and is on blood thinners. Our pharmacy,the Presque Isle,Maine Rite Aid transfered his prescriptions to Laconia. I had called to confirm that they had received them and they contacted our insurance company to get them authorized. While I was on the phone with them they had gotten one of the meds for just our co-pay and the other they found they could do a one month free trail. That saved me a lot of stress. We hung up and not even ten minutes later I received a text saying that the prescriptions were ready for pickup. Couldn’t ask for better. Keep up the fast and very friendly service. Thank you

Incredibly expensive,I just get 1 med there because I live across the street so it's convenient.i buy very little there that's not on sale,the reward's are not really worth shopping there enough to get any "reward's" is what I think about that.

I take a controlled substance, upon closer inspection of my capsules I noticed that some of them will be nearly empty and others will be completely full so they must be intentionally skimming for some reason, maybe for resale, personal gain, you never know in Laconia.At first I was assuming it was a manufacturing defect but the capsules actually look like they were tampered with,. So there you go, I'm done with this location.

You can never get anybody from the pharmacy on the phone. They just let the phone ring and ring and ring and nobody picks up. And then when they do pick up you get nothing but attitude. And they are constantly saying that prescriptions are not faxed that have been faxed. Very poor customer service they do not go out of their way to help you

Another month...another inability to reach ANYONE by phone here to check on my RX. Last month when I finally walked physically in there o figure out when i could get my refill dueseveral days ago the nice lady said they hired more folks to start the next day in the pharmacy. It's not those that work in the actual store it's an overall management problem. Hire someone just to answer basic questions. This is absurd. You can't just ignore people who need their medications for serious, debilitating illnesses. Please do something about this. I put my refill requests in on Monday for pick up Monday afternoon. Waited until WEDNESDAY and have tried 3x to get someone today...guess what? Nobody answers. Big surprise. 😡

Apparently try close the pharmacy before 7 on Saturday.... Yet the door says 8. And online says 8. Thought I could swing in at 7:25 and grab meds I needed was told they close at 7 on Saturday. Might want to update your store hours so people don't miss there meds

I like them for their location and unique items but they have, on more than one occasion, F'ed up my order. In one case charging me THREE times for one box of dryer sheets. I hear this place is rampant with theft and they don't do anything about it. Clearance sale anyone?

I have been on hold with this rite aid location for 50 minutes. All I need to do is transfer a prescription from a different rite aid location. I could have driven to the other location in the time that I’ve been on hold.

I've always liked this Rite-aid. They have 1 or 2 isle's that's all discounted stuff. I shop it a lot!! Lol you'd be amazed at what's in it and what you can get and put away for gifts!

rite aid at 288 union ave is a descent pharmacy the only draw backs are the price fluctuation for the same med on a monthly basis is just about enough to make me switch to Walgreens and at least 3 times this year alone I have had to wait for my scripts do to not being ordered on time ive been going there with the same meds for over 3 yrs they finally seem to have found a pharmacist who can actually get meds ordered on time only time will tell if the rough spots are over 3 and one half stars.....
