Kellerhaus sells souvenirs and gifty things, they make great ice cream, but their claim to fame is their chocolate. Made “in haus” by their friendly and talented workers, their chocolates are world-class; I think it has a relatively high cocoa butter content and it makes a huge difference. They have a staffed candy counter where you can pick out caramels, jellies, nut or raisin clusters, and many more varieties enrobed in either dark or milk chocolate. They also have a separate sugar-free counter and huge truffle selection. The “candy room” also offers many non-chocolate treats and features a fascinating colony of live honeybees (they have free access to the out-of-doors) you can watch through glass. We always make a point of stopping by the Kellerhaus whenever we are in the area - sometimes we even make a special trip just to go there. They also have mail order and I’ve taken advantage of that to send Christmas and Easter treats to relatives. Highly recommend.

You definitely need to come here at least once in your lifetime . Many times if possible. I've been coming since I was a kid and now I bring my children. I mean really, what else can beat whipped cream on tap at the ice cream bar.

ICE CREAM!!! YUMMY!!!! Wonderful staff! Gift shop, restaurant, candy shop! Oldest Icr Cream shop in New Hampshire. Did I mention the staff is wonderful! As is the awesome ice cream topping Smorgasbord!

It's okay. The ice cream is OK, it's ice cream. Not a ton of flavor choices but enough (maybe 10 kinds) but it's not peak season. The toppings bar is smaller then I expected for sure based on the hype (see picture), they didn't even have rainbow sprinkles. The whip cream is good. The candy/choclates are pricey. I'd hate to go during tourist season actually because the place is a bit crowded with stuff and with lots of people in there it would be a bit overwhelming in that cramped space.

I've been coming here since I was a kid and it's still a great place to visit as an adult. Make your own Sundays is the highlight but they have a bunch of gifts and their own homemade candy. If you have kids this is a must see destination when visiting the lakes region.

A quaint and lovely shop serving house made chocolates fudges sweets an ice cream buffet. They also have a store selling knick knacks. The staff were lovely and welcoming and the samples delicious. A great place for Christmas and souvenir gift shopping!

Cute place, we loved the ice cream toppings bar but the smell forced us to leave before we could look around the store. Smells like something has died in the ventilation.Kinda ruined the visit

Delicious candy and service! I recently ordered several boxes of truffles for gifts and amazed how easy it was to order and how quickly they arrived. I was even more impressed with the quality and appearance as I had to open one of the boxes for quality check. The chocolates were arranged very nicely and the box was full when I opened, really feeling like there was great value. These will make excellent gifts. Thanks for bringing some joy to the world.

Great experience!! The ice cream was amazing and adding the toppings yourself really added to the fun. The lines of people were sort of confusing at first if you've never been but once we figured it out, we didn't have to wait very long for our ice cream even though it was very busy. this place used to be wonderful, with great quaint animatronic elves and stuff. very sad now, almost nothing of the original fun stuff remains, sad dusty gifts, the "ice cream smorgasbord" is more like a couple off-looking toppings, everything is overpriced (except the sad and old stock they cant sell that is now marked down)sad. a childhood fever dream shattered.

What a great place! When you walk in it smells like Christmas. The place is filled with candies, ice cream and unique gifts. I had so much fun walking around and shopping. They make their own ice cream and there is a topping bar where you can build your own sundae! The smell of fresh ice cream and homemade fudge and candy was heavenly

Loved it here.But where to start? Ok we walked in and the lady at the front desk kindly greeted us and asked us how we where. We walked over to the ice cream section and got make your own Sundays. Where they had a pretty good selection of things to place on your ice cream Sunday! Everyone working here was super friendly and they had in incredible selection of things to look at with there being a Christmas, candy and toy shop all in one building it was the perfect place for a rainy day. Now a little bigger and a lot happier!Thank you

A stellar ice cream sundae bar with indoor seating over looking the beautiful New Hampshire scenery is what you’ll find when you enter. They also have a pretty substantial selection of all sorts of knickknacks inside of their gift shop. Definitely stop by if you’re in the area!

I went with my grandchildren to get the make your own Sunday. I didn't have anything, but there were plenty of ice cream choices and a nice variety of toppings. The store had a large assortment of items that kept the kids occupied and asking for more toys.

This has to be our 45 summer " ice cream for lunch". My mother in law instituted it when my oldest was 2. We continued it throughout their childhood, bring friends. Now we take grandkids, with or without parents, bringing their friends along as well. Grampy enjoys schooling the newcomers on how to layer the toppings to get the most on the ice cream. Hope to continue for many more summers.
