I recently purchased my Corvette from John and his wife Cheryl. (a 2008 C6 - I previously owned an 89 C4) They could not have been more helpful and nice. I shopped around very thoroughly before buying and got a truly great deal from them. The price was excellent and the car had been gone through top to bottom by John and a certified mechanic who works for them. It was completely sorted out and they fixed things that I probably would have not noticed without their expertise. (hood shocks, visor mirror hinge, etc.) This is a local small business that can be trusted to do the right thing and they are true Corvette enthusiasts. No pressure, relaxed, helpful sales, with expert experienced service, and down to earth nice people. They took the time to answer my many questions and informed me about things I didn't know to ask. I have driven the car over 1000 miles this week and have had no unexpected problems. They even called me to make sure that was the case and that I was happy. Using my 1994 Corvette as a daily driver (genius I know), had the car die while I was driving to work and paid $300 to get it towed from Salem NH to John’s. I got a call from them as soon as the car arrived, told them it was my only car, and they jumped into action. They told me all the little things that could be the problem and within 24 HOURS, the car was back up and running. If I had taken my car to any other place it would’ve taken that long at least to get the car checked out, let alone correctly diagnosed and fixed. I paid over the phone and never got to chat with the employees there which is my only regret. They even checked in with me the next day to make sure everything was ok. The prices were appropriate for the high level of work they do and the customer service was wonderful. The level of knowledge, kindness, and speediness was so refreshing. Anything that needs to be done to my Corvette will be done by these folks.

John's shop came highly suggested by a FB group admin. So glad i took car to John to replace my harmonic balancer and to also do the transmission fluid.Had I taken it to anyone else, I would not have known that the previous person that owned car had balancer replaced, but was not done correctly as they used the incorrect bolt torque, and also the incorrect lower pulley and a washer that was getting slowly destroyed.John found the issues, fixed them, and now my car is back in working order.The communication from John and Sheryl, his wife, was great.They are also two of the nicest people you will meet and with over 50 years of working on corvettes, they know their stuff!Any major work that needs to be done on my car, John and his team will be doing it for me.Keep up the great work John & Sheryl.

At least once or twice a year I hand John a stack of money to get my '69 moving well again. Over the years, he's rebuilt the engine, changed brakes and tires, fixed the vacuum system, changed the radiator, fixed all the gauges (except the clock, I don't need that). Oil changes, lube and sticker each year. I love how it runs. I trust John's knowledge of Corvettes, so I keeps bringing it back!

Bought my vette 6yrs. Ago . It had 43,000mls.. on it. Now it has 80,000 on it!! The only things I've had to do was brakes. Then the oil pressure sensor went. It took 3 times.. first one leaked like a siv after 2 wks.. 2nd one my gauge pegged back to 80 psi like the first time,3rd time was a charm it's been good for 2 yrs.. now. Then a convertible top replacement do to age. I feel after all these yrs.. john has sold me a top notch vette!! Never had any other issues all this time..I just hope when im about to purchase another vette John is still in business!! Cuz he sells top quality vettes!!!

I went to John’s Corvette Service after buying my first corvette (86.) John was able to fix a couple minor parts (window switch, horn.) He "advised" I pay him to give my car a tune up. He said it would cost somewhere between $300 and $450. Keep in mind my car was running fine at this point and had no mechanical problems. I agreed to get a tune up and he said I could pick my car up the next day. Long story short he ended up holding onto the car for over 2 weeks. He gave me several excuses on why it took so long. When I went to pick it up he wanted me to pay $990. He couldn't even explain why he wanted so much more than we originally agreed. When I drove my car home it started shaking at high speeds. I took it to a mechanic that actually knew how to work on cars. The trustworthy mechanic determined John broke the wire harness to cylinder #5. Be warned! John is not trustworthy and he's an incompetent mechanic!

I have a 2002 Corvette that had a headlight motor problem. I met John and we discussed the issue. He diagnosed the problem to be the motor itself. I had rebuilt this motor and installed a brass gear. It seemed to be alright but then it started acting up again. He had a newer replacement motor in stock. I went across the street to a diner and had breakfast. When I returned my Corvette was done and working fine. Less than two hours and I was on my way. I have never experienced such courtesy, promptness and attention from any repair agency before. I would highly recommend anyone with a Corvette to go to John and his wife Cheryl.
