Best hardware store around. Stop going to the big box stores... go to Ace for the most knowledgeable sales staff. They are at the door ready to greet... tell them what you want and they will bring you right to the stop you need to be. Travis is always so helpful.

My mother and I went here looking for an idea to fix a bed. The experience was wonderful. Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. The business is laid out a lot better than the store that used to be there before. It's much brighter inside and seemed very clean. I would definitely go back here for any of my needs over Lowe's or anywhere else in the area. Thank you!

A little disappointed. I drove all the way over there to get my RV filled with propane and out of the free employees that I saw none of them were qualified to fill RV. They also didn't have any RV fittings for propane.

Formerly trustworthy, a great store, with a great selection of the most uncommon and difficult to find hardware trinkets. Competitively priced, no reason to go to The Big Box store unless you really need to.

Great store! The remodel looks great, the stock is full and varied, and the staff is eager to help. I feel like a kid in a candy store at this place. I wandered the aisles daydreaming of having thousands to drop here. Top notch hardware store!

Holy cow, these guys are amazing! Mark, Andrew and Travis saved the day! It was the coldest day of the year and my father-in-law‘s furnace stopped working. I live in another town so couldn’t get to his house to deliver him a few bags of pellets to get him by until his furnace was fixed. I called up Heath‘s and these three gentlemen not only agreed to bring just a few bags to my elderly father-in-law but got them to him in minutes and even brought the bags inside and put them into his pellet stove as he isn’t strong enough to do so. These guys are true hometown heroes!

This location has been a family owned hardware store, and a part of our community for many many years. So when I heard it had been sold I was concerned. But I was impressed when I recently visited the new store. The outside looks the same but the interior has a bright new look, and the store seems to be stocked well with the things we have come to expect from a hardware store.

The store was very neat and clean. Employees were very helpful and always right there when you were looking for something. The sad part was it was the second day of the sale and i was only able to buy one of the six items in the flyer that i was looking for.

I dropped in today for the first time and was very impressed all around! Friendly, very attentive and helpful staff, and terrific product selection. I don't believe there is anything they don't have!!!! And I'd bet, if you can't find it, they'll do their utmost to find it!!! As I.said when I walked in the door, " welcome to the neighborhood." They are a welcome addition!

I needed concentrated coyote urine, which works great to deter skunks from feeling at home under a porch, because they perceive the scent of a predator. So I went Ace Hardware Union Ave in Laconia. The men at the counter laughed as if I were joking. A female employee apologized for them and said the store must have some since it works so well to deter unwanted wildlife. But we couldn't find any on the shelf. She asked the man in charge if there was any in stock. He also laughed as if we were joking, in a really condescending way, and said "What do you want me to do, lady? Milk a coyote?"On the other hand, Jeff at Gilford True Value Hardware took me right to the product on the shelf and explained that I should put some holes in small plastic containers and then fill the containers with cotton balls soaked in the scent. This would help the scent last longer. He was as helpful as they always are at Gilford Hardware. Personal attention, patience, and education.And that is the difference in knowledge, experience, and customer service between Gilford True Value Hardware and Healh's Ace Hardware.

While I genuinely love the setup, stock, and prices at this store, the employees here do not know how to wear a mask for the life of them. This is the 4th or 5th time now with employees coughing with no masks or masks not covering their noses. This morning an employee named Ryan proceeded through our entire checkout without a mask and when I called him on it, just said “oh my bad” and put it on. I want to keep my money in this community and out of big box stores but if the management at this store can’t keep our community safe from COVID, I will take my money elsewhere from now on. I will add that this makes me so angry because I work in elementary schools and kindergartners regularly do a better job at mask safety than the adults at this store.
