I gave this kennel a top review shortly after the new owners took over. I was very, very impressed with them then and now, a year later, I wanted to update my review to say that they're even better than I expected them to be. We travel a lot and we're always able to enjoy our trips because we don't need to worry about the furry members of our family. Our two dogs are so excited to be there when we arrive and they always receive lots of love and attention from the staff. Truly Balanced is fabulous!

Tori, Genevieve and Dylan are wonderful staff, every time I drop off my girl Maggie she is ecstatic to go in. Clean environment. You can definitely tell that the staff puts a lot of time and effort into making sure that your pup is as comfortable as possible and stays active and sociable. On nights that I’ve had to be away their boarding is absolutely amazing and is by far one of the most comforting places to leave my pup. Maggie has had multiple training sessions and after only a few sessions with TBDC you can definitely see positive improvements. If you’re going to place your dog anywhere for boarding, training or daycare, this is definitely the spot to go!

We feel confident leaving our dog Lady at Truly Balanced Dog Care while we travel. They have been great with her and our experience only gets better each time. When I leave my boy there I am confident in the great quality training and care that is provided, I never have to worry that my boy isn’t being taken care of! The training Dylan gives is great, he works with me to see what issues I might have to work on and is always at the forefront of what is best for my dog! The progress that my boy has made is tremendous and I get comments from my friends about how well behaved he is compared to before!

I am actually blown away by my experience with truly balanced dog! I was a little bit skeptical at first, because my dog was really out of control, and I had doubts about his ability to be trained but this training service came highly highly recommended from a friend of mine, who has had phenomenal results with her three very out of control dogs and I trusted her referral. I’m so glad that I did. I boarded my dog for three weeks, and when I went to pick him up, it was like he was a different dog in the best of all ways! I truly can’t believe it. He is obedient, he is far less hyper and so much easier to live with and manage. The biggest challenge for me is getting myself trained to maintain the training that he received but I was given excellent advice in that regard, and I was told that I can come back at any time for further instruction.I would highly recommend their services to anyone! It was worth every penny!

We love TBDC! My rambunctious labs have attended daycare, boarded for a week and were groomed. They are sweet boys but are a handful and the staff accepts them as they are which gives me great peace of mind. I also wanted to note TBDC was very accommodating when we had to unexpectedly extend their stay by a handful of days. Thank you!

Tori, Dylan and all TBDC employees take such great care of their boarding, daycare, and day school pups. The time and energy they put into the kennel and all the dogs there is unmatched. My family has boarded our dog there numerous times and sometimes our pup doesn’t even want to leave because he’s having so much fun. He has such a great time there and loves playing with his friends. They care about our dog and makes sure he is taken care of and safe during his stay. I highly recommend TBDC if you are looking for day care, boarding, or training. You won’t regret it and you’ll never doubt if your dogs are in good hands.

We call Truly Balanced "Going to Camp" in our house and both of our rottweilers get super excited and run to the car when we say the word "camp" in our house. They are so well cared for and I love getting a photo every day we're gone on social media of the good time they're having. We love Tori and the rest of the staff, I can't recommend them enough!

I am a veterinarian, and have never boarded my dogs before this year. I have 2 Alaskan Malamutes, one of which can be reactive, so I was extremely nervous about boarding them when we went on vacation. Truly Balance Dog Care took AMAZING care of our boys, and they both (even the reactive one) did great! I won’t hesitate to board my troublemakers here again in the future :)Thank you again for taking such great care of Luca and Rambler!

All of the Truly Balanced staff take amazing care of every single pup thats in their care. They treat each and every one of them like family. It's truly an inspiration to see them work with all of the dogs in their care and to be so knowledgeable about their different personalities. Dylan was great with my uncontrollable rottweiler. From our first meeting, I was dragged into his office by my 90lb dog, jumping on everything to 3 weeks later, walking calmly down his stairs to go home. It was a night and day transformation and well worth the 45 minute drive away. Dylan explained what and how he did and what I need to continue to do to keep King being the best dog he can be. I would definitely recommend Truly Balanced Dog Care.

We were looking for a new kennel for our pup that was closer to the house and with better care. What we found in Truly Balanced was more than expected! Tori was so friendly and welcoming from the start, giving us a tour of the facilities and insuring us that our boy, who does not play well with others, would be properly separated and walked / played with up to several times a day. At his last kennel it was once! We also had to switch him to special soft food because of his teeth. In the past he's come home much thinner and you could tell he wasn't eating. Well he must have been a happy pup because he came home looking healthy and well fed! They also posted pictures of him on Instagram, which we had not expected but gave us such such a piece of mind seeing his cute face. He came back to us clean and happy and we are so so so grateful to Tori and the Truly Balanced care team for taking such good care of our boy. Thank you!

We cannot thank Tori and Dillon from Truly Balanced Dog Care enough as they took amazing care of two of our "spicy" dogs for about a week. My dog and I have worked with Dylan for years prior to Truly Balanced Dog Care, so to say that I was overjoyed when Truly Balanced Dog Care came to be would be an understatement. Truly Balanced Dog Care is the ONLY place that I feel comfortable, and confident sending my dog.I have used many other local kennels in the past, and my dog has come back from each experience stressed and over all uncomfortable, to which I just assumed meant that he didn't do well with boarding in general - so I tried to limit his time in kennels. This theory of mine was completely debunked when I picked my dog up from his first boarding experience at Truly Balanced. He was happy, not stressed, and seemed at truly at peace.I attribute this positive demeanor after boarding to the expert care that the entire staff at Truly Balanced provides. I was so happy with the wonderful care and attention that my dog received last week, while spending 4 days at Truly Balanced Dog Care! Tori certainly LOVES all dogs, and is so warm and friendly, when we first met her when we visited, and also when we dropped off our pup for her stay. She sent me photos of our dog playing, which was so reassuring, and also posts photos of all dogs 5 days/week on FB and IG. Our dog enjoyed the numerous playtimes with different dogs in the fully fenced play yard. She received excellent care while there, and we also had her bathed before we picked her up, which was most convenient. I highly recommend TBDC!

We highly recommend Truely Balanced Dog Training for ANY type of training.Dylan is an amazing trainer. He tailors training to the needs of the dog and owner. We put both our dogs through behavioral rehabilitation training with him. We went from one aggressive uncontrolled dog I was frankly scared of, to an attentive, respectful and lovable one. And from a hyper runaway risk to a still hyper but now very attentive and responsive pooch.Dylan’s facility is amazing with a variety of kennel options depending on the dogs needs, and large training areas for them to play and train.

So happy I found this place! My dog, Peanut, is reactive towards other dogs and most men. They happily boarded him on a few different occasions. Dylan and Tori always take such great care of my dogs! I don’t have particularly easy dogs but I know they are well cared for when I leave them both there. I have a little pit bull who can be quite the handful, and he absolutely adores going to TBDC. Recently j left my senior dog with them as well and not only did they give him special treatment because he has some anxiety being kenneled and crated, but they also gave him a GLORIOUS bath. His nails were dremeled so nicely, his hair so soft. They really put me at ease when I have to leave the pups behind. I’m planning on moving out of state but will forever only use them for my boarding needs. Thanks to a wonderful team and facility!

TBDC has friendly and helpful staff, is a clean and safe environment and we feel confident our dog Forest is well taken care of. He loves going to day school and we are so impressed with how far he’s come! Boarding him for the first time was a positive experience and he came home happy and relaxed.

I would say Dylan js a nice guy, and the folks working there. My wife and i left our dog for 2.5 weeks. We were having trouble with pulling, healing, an a little mouthy. When we dropped him off he could, sit, paw, high 5, lay, & roll over. When we picked hom up from Dylan said he worked on sit and down, straight faced. Honestly, he couldnt wait for us to leave, no hand off, no instruction. a lot of money spent, wasted, definately not worth one dollar of the money spent. No follow up, take your money and run. He does however have an airtight contract protecting him from any liability. Had to change our vet also, because we did not want the dog to see him or interact with him ever again. Nice guy, bad trainer. We had a free consult with a trainer in Hampton, in an hour an a half Don accopplished more than Dylan on a free consult. Good trainers are hard to come by, do your homework first.

I'm so thankful for finding TBDC! My girl Delilah has a heart condition, and I trust them completely to take the best care of her for daycare and extended stays. But I think what speaks for itself is how excited my pup gets when we pull into their parking lot. She loves it!

Brought our Shiba there while we travelled, the staff are all so kind and careful. They took extra care and followed up with us to soothe any fears we may have had as nervous pet owners. They loved our dog during his visit and shared pictures of him playing outdoors on their Instagram.

Truly the only facility I trust with my dogs. Professional and they take extra steps to ensure your dog's care and safety. Other kennels I've been to just let all the dogs run around regardless of temperaments, preferences, etc. They go above and beyond here for your pup!
