Tashi, a very reactive rescue dog, made friends with Jay and when Jay came to work with Logan and Cesar we followed. They have all been great working with Tashi, helping her to feel comfortable and safe and making her look good! In addition to her unpredictable temperament, she also has a heavy coat that is very prone to matting. They have taken time and care to help her gain a healthy coat. I'm pleased to have found such a caring group of professionals.

My husband and I are New Englanders, now living in Florida, but staying in the area for the summer/early fall.For several weeks since mid August, I had been trying to get our dog in for a grooming appointment here in NH, but I couldn't get any groomers in the surrounding area to call us back, or if I did reach some, they wouldn't take new clients.I was extremely happy that they picked up the phone and it didn't go to voicemail, and they were able to get her in about a week out. I forgot to ask a couple of questions when I booked, and called the next day/left a message, and my call was returned promptly.My appointment had to rescheduled because of plumbing issues, and they had no water, which was out of their control, but they rescheduled for the same week.I just picked her up and I'm extremely pleased with how she looks, and they were able to get her nails nice and short, without hurting her. Because it took forever to find a groomer that would take her, her nails had grown a bit long,. She was groomed prior to leaving Florida, but if she's not done once a month, her nails grow like weeds. ☺️Thank you to the staff at Southern NH Pet Grooming for your professionalism and for making our baby look and smell pretty. We will definitely be back.

I have been taking my Yorkies to Logan the owner ofSouthern NH Pet Grooming since she opened her business in Kingston.The first thing I can say is I just love her. She is friendly and kind and loves all her 4 legged clients, my two Yorkies enjoy their day of beauty with her. She is very helpful when I feel like changing their haircut once in a while and always does a fabulous job with them. She is very professional and always gives them a beautiful groom, they always look sooo good and feel so silky, she uses really good products.Her staff are the best, especially Caesar who is so helpful to me taking my littles out of my car and putting them back in when their grooming is done.So important to me as age is catching up with me.I could go on and on, but just want to thank everyone at Southern NH Pet Grooming for the wonderful service they provide.Five stars plus for sure, I highly recommend them.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I VERY MUCH appreciate Southern NH dog grooming’s professionalism and knowledge of different dog breed’s grooming needs and emotional needs as well.I have a wonderful young GSD who has been through obedience training and is very well behaved — but still extremely high energy and has been very difficult when needing nail trimming.I started out having to bring him to the trainer for his nail trimming when I couldn’t do it and he was able to accomplish trimming his nails a couple times, but then the third time it took three people to get the trimming done and his nails were still very jagged. My trainer told me that I really needed to work with him on getting him comfortable with having his feet handled.So then I brought my dog to Southern NH dog grooming, and it took a couple months of working together to get my dog comfortable with the process, and thankfully they were patient enough with him that my baby is finally comfortable going there. He was very happy being there today and his razor sharp nails are nice and trimmed and look beautiful!!I’m so appreciative that they were willing to take the time and work with my baby because I was very worried that I would be faced with having to bring him to the vet to be anesthetized just to get his nails trimmed — and I really didn’t want to put him through all that.Also, after being overwhelmed with all the shedding that happens with GSDs, I wanted him to be shaved last spring and they explained to me that for his coat type it would not be appropriate or healthy because of his thick undercoat which is valuable protection for keeping his skin healthy. I never would have known.I’ve tried many groomers in the area and I’m so very happy they have opened up shop in Kingston and pray never leave! 🙏Donna Whitcomb

Buyer beware of this place. Brought our dog in for grooming and 4 hours later we received our dog back completely shaved. We have had dogs all our life and groomed regularly and have never had a groomer shave our dog.She came home fatigued and panting stressed put about the experience. We have never had such a poor experience with a groomer.

The previous owner has moved to Florida and never bothered to contact her clients. I was told this by the new owner when I went to drop my dogs off for their scheduled appointment. When I arrived, the new owner was not welcoming to me or my dogs. She stated she was aware of my appointment but she has her own scheduled clients for the day. I was not comfortable leaving my dogs to be “ squeezed in somehow between my clients”. Her tone and demeanor led me to believe she did not want my dogs there as they are not “her clients”. A phone call would have been appropriate and professional. I am now looking for a new groomer.
