I've been shopping here for about 30 years, since it was just a mail-order catalog called Sierra Trading Post, long before they got bought by TJX and started opening stores.What you will find there: Great bargains on good-quality outdoor gear, both clothing and stuff like camping equipment. Lots and lots of shoes and boots. Also some housewares, pet stuff, and don't visit hungry because there is a huge snack food area where you wait at the registers.And you will wait at the registers, because what you won't find is incredible service. It's friendly and competent enough, there just isn't much of it. But that's OK - you're here for bargains, not the service.If the idea of having a ski jacket in 'last year's color' horrifies you, better shop elsewhere. If you have more brains than money, shop at Sierra. Pro Tip: I shop online (the web site is great), ordering multiple sizes to make sure I get something that fits, then return the unwanted stuff to the store. Fast, easy, no return shipping charge.

clean, super discounts. It's a hit or miss. Very well organized and not quiet as congested as TJMaxx. although I ♡ them both honestly. Great for Name Brands at a Discounted Price.

It was a nice experience. I was able to get a 5$ candle in the clearance shelf. The staff here were very friendly and professional. Parking lot situation was close by and accessible. A local staple.

Be alert to look around you can find tremendous deals on Plaids, jackets even footwear. Be sure to check clearance for steal deals. Great outdoor selection, no Veterans discount except on select holiday, Veterans day & memorial day.

Nice clean store, lots of selections. Clothing sizes run in store from small to 2xxl. Larger sizes are available on line. Lots of name brands. Plenty of shoes and boots available. Stop by staff always ready to assist.

I am genuinely jealous that us fortunate enough to live somewhere as beautiful as Florida and Georgia, do not have this shopping establishment as an option. We probably camp and outdoors more than any Yankee or Northern patriot would. So why can we have such a great mix of outdoors gear and clearance prices!

Hey, it's hit or miss as it's basically an outdoor wear TJ Maxx. It was a major hit this last time as my husband and I both found a great pair of Vasque boots for a song. Been 3 times, each time I've done very well.

This is the online retailer Sierra Trading Post brought to life in bricks and mortar! Large store with well-stocked hardgoods and soft goods. I was in the market for collapsible walking sticks and there were 10 to choose from. Women's clothing is essentially the entire right hand side of the store. Unfortunately lacking in larger sizes.

What a great place... Think TJMAX but for outdoor stuff. The prices are great and they have a really nice selection. It is a great place to pick up things that you need.

Sierra is more of a store for yack attackers, grape smugglers, soy boys and valley girls, it just doesn't have the traditional sporting goods store atmosphere and inventory that a truly great sporting goods store has.
