My family and I love The Lantern. Very cozy, clean, family atmosphere. We also enjoyed the organzied family activities at the campground, hay rides, crafts and games! The last time we were there, we had car troubles and everyone was so helpful and accommodating. The Lantern has become a tradition for our family! Can't wait to go back!

Very nice place to stay The Lantern is a place that i have been going to for the past 4+ years they have a pool and a nice park in the back of it they no longer have a Hot Tub that was taken out back in 2020 and has never returned. very kid friendly campground. best time to go is during the week for the campsites because you will most likely get the one that you want to get + no people to be loud at night during the weekends it can be having a lot of people but all of the holiday themes are on the weekend so you might just want to go on the weekend just for that.

It’s a great family friendly campground and motel. A newly renovated general store is also located here. It has great items for those last minutes things you forgot. Along with a good variety of food and drinks. Lantern resort apparel is sold at the general store aswell. The motel rooms are nicely cleaned and updated. Housekeepers do a great job keeping up with it all. Campsites are kept neat with trimmed grass along with the workers coming by after every time someone checks out of the site to refresh it by raking and cleaning out the fire pits. Fun activities are held at the pavilion including arts and crafts, candy bar bingo, along with movie nights on certain occasions, hayrides, s’mores at the fire pit near the big umbrellas and much more. The staff at the lantern resort goes above and beyond for their guests. I highly recommend staying here if you ever get the chance to.

We loved staying here. Our friends stayed in the campground and we stayed in the motel. Both were very good and very clean. They also had fun kid's activities. We would definitely stay here again.

The rooms are very clean and the staff was very friendly. They have a lot to do from two heated pools to a nice playground with a double swing that my kids absolutely loved. They also had a campfire with s'mores and free slushies from the store. We would stay there again when visiting Santa's village. The rooms seemed updated. They were a little small for our young family, but we did not visit the area to stay in the room so it was not a big deal in the grand scheme of things.

This camp ground is beautiful! They are top notch with keeping their land as beautiful as possible! As soon as a camper/tenter left a guy would come over and clean up the spot, rake it all up and put the table over the fire pit and it’s ready for the next person to come on in.The pools were amazing! They were not freezing cold but not so warm that it wasn’t refreshing! They have awesome chairs so you can also sit and relax as you soak up the sun! The arcade isn’t huge but it keeps the kids busy for awhile.I give three stars because there’s not a lot of camp sites with sewer hookups, which caused for grey water backup! Eew! You have to drive up, dump it an return to your site! What a pain in the butt! Also, our site had sand/clay an not much grass so it made for a very big mess. The family shower was absolutely amazing, the water pressure was awesome! The other ones weren’t the best but did the job! However I noticed they did not sweep the floors just mopped them and when I say mop I mean soaked the floor! It was a mess! The outside was very clean and well put together though.I also had to return something to the general store because their workers allowed my 10 year old step son to charge something to our site, and that I found very careless of them! I refuse to pay $5.99 for a box of Walmart brand gram crackers.

I don't know how this place can have any bad reviews! We stayed in the motel for 2 nights and was able to experience the campground a little bit. Their grounds are absolutely immaculate. The same goes for our room. We walked in and KNEW it was clean. High end floors and upkept decor made it feel really nice. The bed was cozy & we couldn't hear any of the rooms around us which was nice. The grounds included many RV and Tent spots, a motel, a small convenience store, and multiple different activities. There are 2 heated in ground pools to enjoy. As well as a really nice playground with updated equipment. The staff was so friendly and we felt at home.

Staff helpful friendly,accommodations clean and comfortable. They have thought of everything and if you’ve forgotten anything they’ve got it at the general store. Nice playground and pools. Lots of family style activities. Walking distance to Santa’s Village. We went with my daughter’s family and we all had a blast. We will definitely be back!

I love this place. I went when I was a kid and now taking my own children. Afternoon activities once santas village closes. Heated pools, hay rides, smores, and games. Biggest mistake was only booking 2 nights... thought the 2 year old would be too much but this place is so organized. It kept her going and all the kids slept like a baby when the day was done .

A very unique campground that offers an intimate and family friendly experience. The grounds are well cared for and the crew works tirelessly to keep everything maintained. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We have been staying here for close to a decade and we look to continue this trend. The lantern resort is a special place. Our family loves it. We are so grateful to have built so many warm memories here.

This was our 2nd time camping here and we've already talked about next year! People working there are so nice! The bathrooms were extremely clean. The sites are well sized. The activities are so much fun! and the campground is smaller then what we've seen at other places therefore it makes it less crowded. HUGE PLUS! it's also walking distance from Santa's village, which we LOVE!The only little thing we didn't like this time around was our site, so we spotted other sites we preferred and will book something different next time!! Our site was A62, the sewer was higher then our camper so we had a hard time placing the sewer properly but we ended up making it work.Thank you so much for the amazing weekend! We'll see you guys again next year!! :D

Our family of four with two young kids had a really nice 2 night stay here after a fun day at Santas Village. We were part of a larger group of eight family members, and the kids loved playing in the pool, all of the bonus activities provided by the resort, including a fun hayride and s’mores by campfire, and just running around the beautiful grounds. We stayed in a motel room while my parents had a spot for their RV. The upper rooms are not updated yet, and after one night upstairs, we were moved to an available room downstairs which was absolutely beautiful, clean, updated furniture, fresh paint job, and super comfortable beds. My advice would be to ask for a room on ground level if they have them available. We look forward to returning! Great customer Service!

We booked two nights here because we were going to Santa's Village. The price per night I thought was absolutely a great deal. We absolutely loved it there. The landscape was amazing. The flowers all around were beautiful. My son loved the playground as well as the two pools and hot tubs. They had fun activities at night for the kids to enjoy. They also had a small arcade to play games. I absolutely loved staying there and would definitely stay again and I would highly recommend this motel. The staff were terrific anything I needed they were more than helpful. I was sad to leave I would have loved to stay. If you are looking for somewhere to stay I would 100 % recommend the Lantern Resort. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Been coming here since I was little, for about 20+ years now. This campground holds many of my childhood and teenage memories and this was my first time coming with my own family. The smiley face swing has and always will be the main attraction that's brought us back a hundred times. Along with candy bar bingo, of course. Covid got in the way of us enjoying that this year but that's a small price to pay for the safety and friendliness of this campground. Highly, highly recommend!!

How amazing could one place be! Close proximity to Santa’s Village, two pool areas, free showers and even a tub stall for your little ones, or even yourself if you want to relax!!!! Awesome park area. I felt so comfortable letting my children walk around, it is open enough to be able to see them ride their bikes, yet you do not feel super exposed in your campsite. The activities they do for free for the little ones are cute and fun. I saw all ages enjoying them. Super friendly staff. We plan on going back again this summer!

This is our third stay here. We have a 42 ft diesel RV and don't have any trouble getting our rig in here.it's very clean and the kids love it.its within walking distance to Santa's Village and there are lots of activities to do at the campground.They have a little Camp store that has pretty much anything you might need and they also have their food truck (a cute converted Airstream) the cheeseburgers are great and the pancakes are the size of dinner plates. not sure what hours they are open on during the week but they were open for breakfast and dinner on the weekends.

We stayed one night in the motel units after spending the day at Santa's Village. Rooms were very clean and updated, albeit small. I loved that the floors are not carpeted. Feels more clean. Perfect for family of four.

We are long time guests. Usually we rent one of the rental units. This time we decided to try a tent. We bought a really big tent as we were expecting to have guests, but they didn't end up coming. We had Site 1, an awesome site! We overlooked the Entrance as well as the Lower Pool. The staff were all excellent. The restrooms and facilities were always in great shape. We missed all the evening events they used to have, but even with the COVID 19 restrictions, everyone still had a great time. Loved the new improvements to the grounds. A couple of suggestions though: hand rails on the steep incline to the Lower Bathroom, a hand rail going up the steps to the Upper Pool, and perhaps a few bigger chairs in the pool areas and showers. Otherwise Awesome!

Pleasant and well-maintained family-oriented campground that is conveniently just up the road from Santa's Village. They were very helpful, responsive, and understanding when I needed maintenance help at the site my family was at. I really like the way they converted an old airstream camper into a snack bar with coffee in the morning and meals, too. When camping with young kids, having that option really helps to simplify and take some stress out of the experience. We've camped here a couple times, and would be happy to stay here again.

what a beautiful resort. We stayed in the motel, which was very clean, neat, comfortable The landscaping around the eniter property is absoloutely gorgeous. The outside grounds and pool area were exteremely clean. All personnel we encountered were friendly and welcoming. Love the fact that the have activities planned and themed weekends. I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend. It is in walking distance to Santa's Village.

We and our grandchildren stayed here while visiting Santa's Village. Our home is only 10 minutes away, but it was worth it for all of the special touches. There were two pools (heated I think, certainly warm when we were there) a hayride, community campfire, playground, and so much more. A great place for families. Rooms were clean and spacious (my wife was a ER housekeeper and knows her "Clean") and surrounded by the Kilkenny Mountains to the north and the Presidentials to the south, Incredible Views!

We stayed here one overnight when visiting Santa's Village. It's within walking distance to Santa's Village and very reasonably priced. I loved how the kids got free slushies for staying there. Rooms were clean and tidy. The people above us were loud, but other than that everything worked. We only stayed one overnight so not much to say about the grounds, but they looked nice and clean. Snacks and drinks were available to purchase which was nice.
