My experience at Country Bridals was nothing but positive! I tried on several dressed until I found "the one", and all staff members were so incredibly helpful during that process. Elicia was very accommodating, as I had a lot of travel and a cross country move, so some alterations were made very close to the date of the wedding...and they tailored it perfectly!! I could not have been happier, thank you!! ♥️

Like many trying to plan a wedding during a pandemic - after changing plans four times, my partner and I decided to take 2020 back and elope. I had originally wanted to get a custom dress made (I'm over 6' and have long limbs), but with this new plan I had to find a dress in a matter of six weeks. I found some (begrudgingly) that I thought would fit my picky taste - and the closest shop that carried them was Country Bridals. An hour and a half each way from me. It's my wedding day, who cares about the drive - let's make the appointment. From beginning to end I worked with Elicia and honestly, she was a pleasure to work with. She pulled a ton of dresses for me - and when I tried on my #1 pick first and uh, hated it - she had plenty for me to try on. I am not great at trying on clothes, nevermind something this important, and I get uncomfortable with feeling like "a burden" - despite my anxiety, Elicia made sure that I was comfortable and that the appointment was going smoothly throughout my 90 minute appointment. Ironically, I found a dress that I never would have picked out - and fell in love with it. (You hear things like that - that you'll 'know' when you find the dress - I always thought it sounded corny, but looking in the mirror that first time - I knew). To make a long review shorter - I had to make two more trips (alterations, and then final try on) to Jaffrey and I can truly say that those 9 hours of driving were worth it. (Even after googling my dress after my appt and realizing that my dress I had just ordered was in a shop 5 minutes from me - that's how much I liked Country Bridals). They take covid seriously, they're affordable, and the alterations were done well and very quickly. I cannot recommend them enough - if my driving that much for a dress I could have gotten closer isn't an indicator, I don't know what is. Thank you again, Elicia and staff!

They had a wide variety of dresses to pick one. I can’t say enough about how positive my experience was and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Frazzled from finding out only two weeks prior to my wedding that USPS had lost my veil that I had ordered from a different company, I walked in to Country Bridals. They immediately welcomed me in and escorted me to their massive selection of veils. They treated me so nicely and allowed me to try on as many veils as I wanted. I found a veil that was absolutely perfect! Their atmosphere and prices are amazing! Highly recommend them! I'm so appreciative to all the staff at Country Bridals!

I had an absolutely amazing time at Country Bridal. Cindra and Elicia were extremely helpful and made my experience so special. They have a great selection with incredibly reasonable prices. Cindra helped me to stay within my budget which was so nice and much appreciated. I didn’t feel any pressure to purchase something - it all felt so relaxed and natural that I did end up saying yes to the dress! They went above and beyond to offer a few changes to my dress that will make it one of a kind and my dream dress. Future brides to be - don’t miss out on this place! Cannot recommend enough! Booked my mom an appointment 2 months in advance, the woman in charge of booking, immediately gave me a hard time about the amount of bridesmaids that would be joining my mom(5 of us). I called 2 months in advance that way they could accommodate us effectively. I got a call the day before to confirm the appointment and the woman on the phone was in a sour mood and gave me an attitude because I confirmed the amount of bridesmaids that would be attending(5). Unfortunately the same woman with the sour attitude was ‘helping’ my mom ‘pick out’ dresses. She was nothing short of disrespectful commenting on my mothers body and picking out the ugliest dresses that didn’t fit my moms style or body type despite my mom telling her what she was looking for. My mom felt rushed and judged by the woman, we told her there was no budget then half way through she assumed our budget was extremely low when in fact we could afford whatever she wanted. Near the end of the appointment my mom had tried on nearly 15 dresses and felt like she had to say yes to 1 so she did..but she wasn’t completely sold on it. There was 1 left in her dressing room that she saw hanging and she wanted to try it on so we got her into it in less that 2 minutes and she came out of the dressing room and in that moment the attendant came out from the front to the back where my mom was and she ever so rudely said ‘seriously?!’ and rolled her eyes. Luckily my mom didn’t hear or see her or else I think she would’ve walked out in tears filled with defeat. Trying on wedding dresses can be so difficult and with added anxiety, ADHD and body dysmorphia the absolute last thing she needed was a rude and judgmental dress attendant. 10/10 would never recommend this place.. not to mention all the dresses smelled like body odor and some had stains.

They helped me get my high school tux (back in the day) and also helped me get fitted for a wedding that they weren’t providing me attire for. My time there has always been a joy. Nothing but good things to say about this establishment.

Extremely positive experience. I am currently pregnant and was not expecting to be when I purchased my bridesmaid dress (from another store since I am not local). I put the dress on and my seamstress was unable to make it work. With only two weeks until the wedding I called Country Bridals and they carried the designer of the dress I needed. When I arrived they had multiple options for me to accommodate my bump! The women were very helpful and even offered to swap for my old dress in exchange for the new one! I was in shock and can’t thank them enough for saving this Matron of almost dishonor! Check them out you won’t be disappointed!

I had to get a new dress in a time crunch! I called this place (never been here prior) the woman was amazing! She told me to come in Monday they had dresses ready for me to try I didn't like any she got me like 10 more (so nice about everything) then I came back Thursday dress was Ready! They tailored it and did all modifications so fast! This place really cares & all the people I met that work there are just so kind,caring & helpful.... there isn't many businesses left in this world that are ran so perfectly! Thank you all! Less then 4 days notice and you didn't treat me like the pain I must have been 🤣!!

I got my bridesmaids dresses here, they had a great selection. Everyone had a good experience except one, they way oversized her and she hasnt changed weight or inches, then they told her they couldnt take the dress in? after all the money she spent... Eventually they figured it out but it was a challenge... The System for the suites and tuxes isn't efficiant or stressless for a bride, Theres a chance the mens suites can come in 2 days before the wedding. Not a fan. Id go somewhere else that can get things done in a more timely fashion and with people who actually know how to properly measure someone. Overall the staff is friendly. There is one women in particular I forget her name who was always very pleasent to work with.

Amazing in every way! They gave me genuine feedback and accommodated my need for a quick turnaround time because I had chosen another dress I was not happy with at a different vendor. They were 100% committed to making me a happy bride, helping me to feel beautiful on my special day. They tailored the dress to fit me to a tee.....a size 12 which they tailored to a size 4, with one day's notice. Nobody does this! They were genuine and wonderful.

I went in so many bridal shops, but this one was different from the first moment. I had a big changing room, and the girl I worked with asked me my budget, what I was looking for, and how much help I needed. They were not pushy at all, and really paid attention to what I said I liked and didn't like about every dress. I'm a bigger girl, and yet that was never an issue as they had many samples in many sizes. If it didn't fit they were more than willing to pin me or clip me so I could see the dress, and worked within my budget. I also had a tight timeframe, and they were able to check what dresses would be available in time. Very knowledgeable.Every trip to this store was a pleasure and worth the hour drive. They were friendly, and put up with my indecision very well. It was a big decision and they were super understanding and helpful.When it came time for alterations they worked with me to get everything right, and held the dress until a few days before the wedding. The girl I worked with for alterations was wonderful, and super helpful. I never once felt like they didn't want to help me .I was very apprehensive about dress shopping, especially after having a poor experience at some other bridal shops. Country Bridal made up for it and more. I honestly wish I could give them more than 5 stars.

I have been going to Country Bridals for many different events over the years- my bridal experience was absolutely fantastic. Vicki and Cathy definitely know what they are doing. The place is beautiful, the atmosphere was not stressful even in the slightest, and the customer service was phenomenal. I came in thinking I knew exactly what I wanted, and after trying on lots of options that Vicki pulled I ended up going with a completely different style! She knew me better than I knew myself! I couldn't be more satisfied with my experience.

I bought my wedding gown here on Saturday and had a great experience. My mother and I made an appointment for early afternoon on Saturday and our consultant was Adrian. She started the appointment by asking me what types of things I liked, and I really had no idea. So to help, she showed me the mannequins and asked what things I liked and didn't like about each of the dresses. We began pulling dresses and trying them on in a private room. I initially thought I would like lace, but I ended up trying on something pretty different (much more simple and elegant). I loved it immediately and went out into the natural light. Adrian helped me try on different sashes, hairpieces, and veils so I could see how I would look on my wedding day. She didn't pressure me to get it right away and get out of the store. I tried on about 5 more dresses after that. She didn't make us feel pressed for time at all and wanted to make sure it was really my dress. At the end of the appointment, my mom and I cried and we ordered the dress. Walk-ins are welcome here, but I highly reccomend making an appointment.We paid half now and will pay the other half when the dress comes in (5 months). I will get alterations done here too, and will re-review Country Bridals again at that time. Since I bought my dress on the first visit, I will get some discounts on accessories, bridesmaids dresses and mothers dresses. I'm not sure if this promotion is always happened, but it was in effect Sept 2013.TL;DR: make an appointment, consultant Adrian was great, dresses were beautiful and affordable

My sister-in-law recommended Country Bridals to me after I visited a couple other dress shops. Unlike other shops, my mom could take pictures and I could pick out my own dresses. They also provided suggestions when I seemed too overwhelmed. She actually ended up picking out the one! She was patient while I tried to explain what I wanted and then picked out something completely different. Great selection, atomosphere and prices. It's worth the drive!

Cathy was a life-saver! I'm so happy with the service I received from Country Bridal! Let me tell you why:My dress retailer went radio silent for several weeks and I was in a panic. It was only 74 days until my wedding and I still needed to do alterations and pick out accessories but I didn't have a dress. Mind you I had already paid in full.Another bridal shop shared my predicament in an online forum and Cathy responded to the distress signal in less than 3 hours (and it was after hours for her timezone)! She had the same model dress on her showroom floor, in my size, AND even on sale. Within less than 24 hours Cathy found my dress, texted me pictures, packaged, and rush shipped the dress to me. Not to mention, I live in SEATTLE, WA and she's in Jaffrey, NH. I wish I could leap through the phone and kiss her I'm so pleased.Do yourself a favor and shop at Country Bridals and Formal Wear: they're simply the best in customer service.

After experiencing a fraudulent experience with a bridal shop in Washington, this shop came to the rescue! Within hours, they contacted Chelsie with the correct dress and size and shipped it off to her the next business day. What a blessing this was! For a small shop, they had a terrific selection of dresses and great service. My best friend is getting married and she's a plus-sized lady and was really nervous at first but the staff were terrific and perfectly professional. She ended up falling in love with a dress from another shop, but it was still a terrific experience. I highly recommend this place.

This place was amazing! After a disastrous first appointment at David's Bridal with a consultant who didn't care anything about what I was looking for, I took a chance and called Counrty Bridals. What an amazing place! Look at those mirrors! They also have a giant mirrow with optional pedestal to give you the full view too! I made an appointment last Saturday to try on wedding dresses. They were incredibly helpful and attentive. I found a dress I really liked. But, I just wasnt 100% sure yet. They wrote the dress in my file and told me to let them know if I changed my mind. I called the following Friday and asked if I could come by. I'm a busy mom so it was definitely last min. I was shooting for 3-4pm. I didn't get there until 430. They had a room ready for me, and the dress hanging in a changing room waiting for me. Since a girl has to be sure, I searched around for more to try on. They happily helped and searched around too. I tried on about 20 more dresses before putting the original back on. It was getting close to closing time and they reassured me not to worry. 6pm closing time comes, I finally put on the original dress and it feels fantastic. Better than any other. It is my dress! I said yes! It was 6:30 now. They ring me up. Instead of rushing along, they sweetly asked if I wanted to have a champagne toast and take a picture with a sign that said "I said yes to the dress." I declined the pic but happily toasted. This truly was the best bridal shop experience ever! Highly highly recommend. Thank you Country Bridals for being so patient and helpful and understanding. It meant so much to me.

I truly won't be able to find the words to fully express how impressed I am with the customer service- as she went above and beyond to take care of one of my brides. There was a mis-hap to the wedding gown as it was accidentally placed near a heating vent causing the beautiful lace detail to be significantly burnt. The damage was discovered on the day of her wedding. The owner of Country Bridals- closed the shop, drove 2 hours to the brides location to repair the dress, and all in time for the wedding. From my understanding- she had to take fabric from another dress in the shop - in order to match the intricate lace detail that needed to be repaired. When arriving at the bridal suite- she got right to work. She was so nice. It shows that she genuinely cares about her customers. I will always recommend Country Bridals. Working in the industry, I have worked with many vendors- but I LOVE working with others who truly love their job and care for their customers. I am a forever fan of Country Bridals in Jaffrey!
