Great place to explore, with it being right off the road, it’s very accessible. From this parking lot you’re looking downstream and there’s a nice view of the mountains as well. There’s not a lot of flat space to relax by the water, nor ample parking. I imagine this spot would get busy in the summer, but I’ve only been in the winter and it’s lovely 😊 I’d recommend if you’re in the area, but not worth making a special trip if you’re going to far out of your way.

The Jackson falls are so so pretty! The waterfall is a short walk from the parking lot and is a charming set of cascading falls. Owing to Jackson's freezing temperatures, some parts of the falls were frozen making it look even more beautiful and there were barely any people. We walked around the rocks and took some really pretty pictures. Can't wait to visit the falls sometime during the summer and take a dip. These falls are a must visit if you are visiting Johnson or any nearby places.

This eatery, located down the street from Jackson Falls, serves as a wonderful respite. After a leisurely stroll through the falls, heading to J-Town Deli for a meal is a great way to unwind. Visited in mid-April when the waters were flowing with snow melt off. Very impressive falls right in the center of town. Park near the top of the street along the road. The view downstream is gorgeous. In the summer, I read ppl swim in the river.

Nice local waterfall. Looks like it's a popular swimming hike for the locals as well. Easy access, easily missed and not much parking but worth the look.

10 STARS!! Had to park at the bottom of the hill because of limited parking, but it is worth it. Took our 5 & almost 4yr old. SO BEAUTIFUL. Right next to the road, too. Several spots to sit and relax on flat rocks or in the water where everyone can chill out. 😎 🤙 Namaste 🙏 ♥️

Lovely place! It's easy to get to, and it's free. There is a 2hr limit since the park lot is small. It's worth the trip.

Labor day weekend and the weather was fantastic. Just enough water in the river to make a very safe and enjoyable afternoon. Water is a little chilly, but after a few minutes very refreshing.

Gorgeous roadside falls! If you go up river there is plenty parking and a porta potty. Perfect for a stop to explore and enjoy the power of nature!

An easy walk from the inn in Jackson. Nice cascading falls, very close to the road. We went early in the morning and were the only ones there.

This was a great little surprise to our visit to Jackson for breakfast. When we looked up what Jackson had to offer we were more than amazed at these falls. We walked to the lower falls and then decided to chance the top. We are so glad that we did. It was breathtaking! The leaves were considered past peak but there was still plenty of color left on the trees for us to consider it amazing. It wasn't a terrible walk at all with our 4 and 8 yr old. They had rain boots which made it even more fun to jump in puddles and climb all of the rocks! We will definitely visit again on our next NH visit!

Not stunning but woth a look. Apparently there is a swimming area here too but we did not investigate that. We did not walk up the trail either so there may have been more sites to see. It was right around the corner from where we we staying so was very convenient to visit.

Highly recommend checking out Jackson Falls in the summer. The deeper swimming holes are at the bottom of the falls but the views are at the top. Fun for friends and family, incredibly happy that we found this place after hitting the trails hard the day before.

Always a good place to stop, but rocks can be very slippery so advise taking slow purposeful steps (especially with kids). Natural slide and waterfall are cool and the view makes it even better.

Wonderful falls. Great for kids. Wear water shoes, as the rocks are mossy and a bit slippery in the water.

One of our favorite places in the area. Lots of room for the kids to explore. Great trails for hiking, even found two different trails that we could bring a wheelchair down...took a little muscle getting the person in the chair back up the hill at the handicapped parking spot... Better to park at the first parking area and go down the trail at the end if you have a wheelchair.

Parking can be a challenge as there are not many spots available, but if you're lucky enough to grab a spot, the view is spectacular and the water is refreshing. The river was flowing pretty fast, but there were a few relatively calm spots for smaller kids to play.

The falls are gorgeous. Easy to climb the rocks and find the perfect spot for relaxing or splashing in the water. There is a carry in, carry out policy. Good spot to enjoy nature!

Beautiful swimming hole. While some people were barefoot, some of the rocks were slippy, so I'd recommended water shoes. There's some picnic tables, so you could pack snacks or lunch if you plan to be there for a while. Parking is limited, though.
