They really take the time to learn your pup’s personality, likes and dislikes and to be sure she and all the other pups are safe, placed in the appropriate “pack”. Sophia loved her trip so much, she was slightly disappointed to leave her new besties.

We’ve been bringing our puppy to the Barking Dog since we adopted her 4 months ago and she loves it there. We’ve had a great experience with daycare, boarding, and training. I always know she is in good hands while there and the staff are very caring and attentive.I especially cannot say enough good things about Jocelyn. She is truly a training marvel! Our dog has learned so much from her, so quickly, and she is wonderful about really tailoring training to your dog’s specific needs and personalities. Jocelyn is amazing!

Hands down the absolute BEST! Our little pup has been going to daycare for the last month and she loves it! The staff is amazing and we couldn't be happier. Also a big shout out to Jocelyn! I’ve been taking my two dogs to daycare and boarding at the barking dog since moving to the area. They absolutely love it there. The staff is awesome!I also have done day training with my newer dude Vino and Jocelyn was awesome with him! Having two dogs and a busy schedule made it difficult to devote time to him specifically. She did amazing at teaching him how to self regulate his emotions and gave me the tools to take home and continue training with him. I highly recommend this facility for more than just boarding/daycare but their training services too!

My large dog (140lb greater Swiss mountain dog), is super anxious… hates having his paws and ears touched.. Becca is amazing with him, and took her time to understand his nervous personality. We wouldn’t go anywhere else than with Becca for his grooming!

We frequently utilize The Barking Dog facility to board our Labrador Retriever, often for extended stays of up to four weeks throughout the year. The staff has consistently been friendly and helpful.Whenever my dog spots her flat collar, she becomes the most ecstatic canine in the world, as her absolute favorite place on Earth is The Barking Dog.

We've taken our fluffy here for years for boarding for up to a week at a time, it's always fantastic. This past weekend, our plans for family watching the pup for a night fell through last minute, so we called at 9:40 Saturday morning. The staff was amazing, especially as we walked through the front doors one minute before close of the morning hours. Thank you!

I brought my two dogs in for a much needed nail trim. Sophia did an amazing job! She was prompt, pleasant and wonderful with our dogs. The trim itself took only a few minutes for each dog. I will definitely be coming back thanks to Sophia & The Barking Dog in Hooksett.

We were very sad to leave our dog for such a long trip (13 days) but in choosing the Gold package, we were sent daily photos of our Lily and got quick reports back when we asked a question. It was well worth the money!

The Barking Dog has an excellent trainer with Jocelyn Guillemette. Archie and Margarita loved seeing her on training day and I am grateful for the opportunity to see her handling them , in action. Jocelyn is prepared and skilled. I highly recommend her.

Update: Sophia did a perfect job grooming today! Would highly recommend!First time there for daycare and loved it so far! Super nice and clean, fairly priced, live webcams, and even an indoor pool the pups can use during their stay! Looking forward to returning.

Our dog loves going here. We get helpful reports every days he goes. He's an energetic pup who likes to rumble and although smaller they've placed with bigger dogs. This actually has helped him at home. The staff are way more pleasant and trained than at Gail Fishers All Day Dogs other than one employee named Sarah. At the Barking Dog they all can do each job. And they know where to hold the leash...know to turn their back if the dogs jump...and do not reward negative behavior! And the price is so reasonable! Thank you for taking care of Scooby for us!

The Barking Dog in Hooksett is AMAZING!!! The staff is wonderful and attentive and they all belong in the world of dogs. The groomers are also amazing and we've boarded here twice and our dog was well taken care of with many options and play time. They have so much to offer, not only boarding, day-care, grooming, baths... but also pool time year round. Our dog gets so much energy out she's dead tired when she gets home.

I love the people at The Barking Dog. I have used them for years. They have an authentic love of animals and show that on a daily basis.We are on our second dog at the Hooksett facility and many longtime staff members still remember our first dog. They are special and it shows. I want to say thank you to Jocelyn for her help in training our pup. I felt very confident leaving my dogs in the care of The Barking Dog - Hooksett. They saw it was Winnie's birthday from her records - gave her a special treat and made a FB post just for her. I recently started taking my Levi to the Hooksett location to work with Jocelyn Guillemette (HIGHLY recommend her)! Over these past few weeks I have fallen in love with all of the staff & so has Levi! They have the dogs separated by temperament so he’s never stressed or overly annoyed by dogs of higher energy. I think this is our forever home!

Very nice, staff and facilities. Super helpful. My pup is not great with knowing when not to play with other dogs so he annoys them to the point of anger. Which makes it hard to find boarding. Due to dogs having to play in big groups because of limited staff. But I was told they can make accommodations to help with my dog so that would not be an issue for boarding. Even offered some help with socializing him/ training while I was boarding him. Other places just told me "he was not a good fit for their facility".

We brought our sweet but anxious and strong-willed 11 month old Golden to Jocelyn for help with his constant biting, jumping and refusal to obey us. Jocelyn is the complete package; she is knowledgeable, personable and has infinite patience. She trained my husband, my dog and me in 10 sessions and changed our household! She helped us achieve our primary goals of "no biting" and " tolerate grooming" and much more. Jocelyn included Rebecca, an equally skilled groomer, in exposing our dog to a non-traumatic grooming session. We modeled Jocelyn's calm demeanor at home and are thoroughly enjoying, instead of fearing, our pup. He has a ways to go but we now have skills and look forward to working with both Jocelyn and Rebecca in the future.

This was a first time using this location , since Derry was full. When we picked up my dog after a wkend stay, and inquired how he did, was disappointed to learn they don’t do paw reports for a weekend stay, nor post pics of them playing unless it’s dogs bday. I just assumed since Derry location does they do too. He got a bath as I had asked and gave them the pick up time so they would have him ready. He was still slightly wet, and while driving I had windows open and dog fur all over the car! I would have expected them to at least brush him out as other groomers do. Guess I had higher expectations??
