Most of the staff is kind and helpful, we made an appointment to get our dog groomed but when we went in a different staff was very short with us. Our dog has a heart murmur on the 1 scale and she said she couldn't groom our dog. The heart murmur has been described as "slight" and "not a problem" by vets. She cut us off when we tried to explain. This should have been said when we did the intake. He's a little Chihuahua and doesn't get stressed out by grooming. He doesn't even bark. We are never going to Petco again for grooming. It's better to go to a local place anyway.

We just love Jackie. She is kind ,patient and always pleasant no matter how busy she is. Our little Phoebe is an anxious and afraid five pound seven year old rescue and she is wonderful with her. Phoebe always looks great when we pick her up.

I've been bringing my Pups to Petco grooming since 2020. One pup is very hyper and the other is so very anxious. The groomers are so good with both. They are kind, and friendly and the service is quick.

Don't go here to get your dog's nails clipped. Been coming here since last year and at first you could make an appointment. Then they changed and said no appointment needed for new clippings. So I went in with my dog after thirty minute drive... Waited for someone 10 minutes in the room. The girl came in and said she was on break and she could take me after her next appointment. So she tells me the next time I should make an appointment!

If I could rate no stars I would. I have been going to this grooming salon for over a year now driving 40 minutes each time because this was my favorite petco and have never had a problem. However, yesterday I drove 40 minutes to get my dog groomed. Like I have always done and the groomer Kiana was terrible and rude. Repeatedly had an attitude with me asking me what I meant by a haircut on my dog. I repeatedly explained to her what I meant and what I was looking for and why i wanted it and what they have been doing for my dog for A YEAR now and she kept cutting me off saying "I'm not cutting your dog" over and over again. Stating they do not cut my dogs breed which is a corgi. Which obviously is a lie because I have been going there like I have been saying for over a year. I also brought my other dog there and she left petrified and shaking after a nail trimming with her and she now will not let anyone trim her nails. I recommend requested a different groomer if you go in and she is going to be the groomer.

Becka and the other groomer were just great! It was our german shepherds 1st visit and they handled them so well. We have had bad luck in the past with getting their nails trimmed short and both dogs nails were done perfectly! Very satisfied, glad we gave Petco a try! :-) - Sue & Tom

The groomer went above and beyond for our dogs. My dog had never been around a hand hair dryer before and totally freaked out (he had only been to groomers that used a crate with a big dryer pointed at it before). Plus he is a Newf, and she said she got 3 garbage bags of hair off of him! Great service, and great work.

It was my puppies first haircut and he left more anxious than he went in... I called other groomers to schedule another appointment because they “could not” cut his hair due to his anxiety. Other groomers couldn’t believe what happened and felt bad for my new puppy! I hope he can get over his fear of the groomers after this experience!

The Groomer was very pleasant, when i looked into the haircutt/brushing out area there was nothing on the floor. I was very impressed. ive gone to other solons and there is hair all over the place and a couple other attendance are just standing around. I dont want my Dog walking through someone elses hair or what ever. Thank you for keeping your Grooming area clean!!!

The grooming took no time and he looked great! He felt very comfortable with the groomer which allowed for the groomer to give him a great cut! Rebecca S gave us a great experience.

Michaela D gave our dog, Toph, the best grooming she's eve had. Not only could we see how hard Michaela worked to get all the old fur out but I've never seen a tidier grooming done on Toph's nails. Toph is an older girl and has become even more nervous about having her nails trimmed. We have even had previous groomers who have given up due to Toph's nervousness. So when I got home with Toph and had a proper look at her fur and nails, I was amazed at Michaela's hard work. Also, she's the first groomer to treat Toph's dry foot pads and nose with a balm. We are so thankful for Michaela's care and hard work, especially knowing how nervous Toph is during grooming. It could not have been an easy task for Michaela.

I would leave a less than 1 star review if I could. Their groomers are understaffed, overworked. My groomer was practically in tears over the pain she was in saying they didn't let her sit. Because of the stress it translates to the dogs. Twice they sent my dog home ungroomed because she wouldn't calm down...while they were grooming her in the window instead of a calmer station away from traffic. The store manager is rude and lectured me for breaking a rule... one that they don't post, don't include in their paperwork, or even inform their groomers of. If no one knows it, it is not a rule. Honestly there are cheaper and higher quality groomers elsewhere. I even watched the manager lie to another owner saying her dog tried to bite. I watched the manager walk into the grooming area from outside the store. She had just arrived not 5 min. Before - and that dog was not in the grooming area at that time so there is no way that the manager saw it.TLDR: take your dog anywhere else.

Groomer cut my dog's ear and tried to say that my dog scratch her ear! You can clearly see that it was cut by scissors! My dog is still still very scared and hasn't stopped shaking since I picked her up! Her face was not groomed at all , but I couldn't tell because she was wet when I got her!
