Classic New Hampshire beauty and charm. Lovely day of kayaking from the public beach.

Great aera to put your boat in the water! They charge you 5$ for the parking which is more than fair and they have enough bathrooms for everyone to use before heading towards the lake! The lake itself is beautiful, the mountain backdrop is a beautiful background to all your pictures of you having a great summer time !

Volunteer with Eastern Adaptive Sports at Riveredge Marina biking over an iconic covered bridge, truly a work of art. Met some local's who walk to the bridge just to look at the lake, while I was setting up the shot on the bridge. Adaptive Bikes make it possible for people that can't ride a two wheel bike on their own to independently ride a bike for the first time!

The SLA folks are super friendly. Lots of good info on local sights and hikes. They have telescopes to borrow so you can earn the wildlife from the rear deck of the SLA HQ. We saw a great blue heron. They sell the best Squam coffee mug in town, and the hoofies are quite nice too. All for a good cause

We went here for a star gazing event. It was free, but you had to sign up before hand. They did a presentation before the viewing. Presentation was good, presenter was new and a little nervous, but she did well. Was very interesting listening to some of the astrologers that came with their telescopes. It was a little cold and a little cloudy, but worth it. I recommend going if they do it again. I did not do anything else with the association.

They have sturdy kayaks and we loved that they have a variety of oar sizes, with different spoon sizes, to choose from.Excellent prices for value.A small map or quick spiel about how to navigate the lake and how long it takes go paddle back to station from different points would have been helpful (coming from newbie kayakers)Can't wait to do it again!!

Excellent! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff who can provide useful tips about local hikes, places to go on the water, or really anything else. Very convenient spot to rent kayaks and canoes. Would definitely stop by again on my next visit to town.

We had a great guided hike around Five Finger Point. It was cold but everyone did great. We stopped in at the SLA office to warm up and use the bathroom on the way home. A great day!

My wife and I became members (2 adults for the season $50) and used the boat launch area to go kayaking,...the weather was beautiful, the water calm as we took our time shadowing the coast line - Mountain Laurel was blooming along the shores giving a wonderful scent as we paddled. The people at the Squam Lakes Association were helpful and very friendly!A great afternoon on the water - we'll be back soon!

They are the real deal. Keeping Lake Squam in pristine condition! Lake Winnepesaukee is for the tourists with fun and games, fast boats, and lots of restaurants. Lake Squam is for the serious sailor and nature lover. Lived up to its reputation as "Golden Pond".

Squam lakes association has a real heart for preserving and protecting the lake and surrounding forest areas. We just camped there at the end of June and it was like heaven!

I went there with a friend to park and access squam lake for some nordic ice skating (call up the weston ski track if you are curious!). The few people who were in the office welcomed us and told us we could park there and use their docks. I'm planning on returning to use them for kayaking out to one the islands on the lake to camp at.

Boat access to Squam Lake. This association does a lot to provide hiking, camping and education around this spectacular lake, better known as Golden Pond.
