Must stop here for breakfast!!!! Or lunch!!!! Little hole-in-the-wall delicious food great company small tiny restaurant small bar really cool. Convenience store meaning they sell everything from cold drinks to ping pong balls. When we pulled up there was a horse and carriage going down the street. Antiques close by at the bar someone was celebrating their birthday at 10 in the morning. Super fun and a must-stop great great food. I got the blueberry pancakes.

After a wonderful relaxing weekend at Ashuelot Pond we decided to fortify ourselves for the long ride back to Massachusetts with a stop at Kats Country Corner Store. It was pure chance we saw Kats and I thought it a bit of a gamble but it really paid off. We sat at the counter and ordered two cheese burgers. One was their famed half pound burger. The burgers were cooked to perfection. The service was friendly, the store was clean and the prices were very reasonable.For some strange reason previous reviews seemed more concerned with politics than service and food quality. While at Kats, I can tell you definitively no one engaged me about politics nor did I hear politics discussed. I'm sure these same reviewers would give Kats more stars if they felt Kats reflected their political beliefs. Consequently I can say with confidence if you appreciate good food and good service at a reasonable price you will like Kats.

Owner dos not really care about it run down food was out dated .was ok buger. dirty not what a diner is and should be. And if you sit a table be prepared for other customers butts to be in your face because that's how they have to be to get there soda out of the coolers . Overall just a example of outdated place for old people to complain about the rest of us just not worth it

Officially my favorite burger stop. Used to go here as a kid with my gramps and brother not the same people as I remember, but the new ones (to me) are amazing as well. Nostalgia tripped couple weeks back and we went and got burgers it was incredible bacon cheese burger. Went today to see if the magic could be repeated and it's even better than the first one i had!! Definitely found my in town lunch break location.

I travel USA from coast to coast taking the back roads all the way. I stop at off the beaten path coffee shops everyday. This is one I look forward to when I'm near Hillsborough. Yes, it is a bit "different", but I love coffee here and a local home made brownie.

My mom and I go there for breakfast just about every Sunday . We have always had service with a smile. We laugh and joke with the cooks, the food is amazing. We look forward to our mother/daughter breakfast. The service (even with COVID-19) has been outstanding!!!!!!

Bottom of the barrel 'convenience' store & grill counter. Seriously, unless you are looking for an overpriced snack from a pitiful selection, well below average counter food, or unfriendly regulars to tell you how great conservatives are & how stupid everyone else is, avoid this place. It's small, dirty, poorly stocked with a dismal selection and the employees seem to only want to converse with their few regulars. I suspect they only stay in business selling a few brands of cigarettes and greasy food to retired, crotchety old locals.

Our go to breakfast spot! My husband ALWAYS gets the bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich (ask for the thick cut bacon!) and I get their HUGE pancake! Yum! We also highly recommend their bacon cheeseburger if you're there for lunch (again- get the thick cut bacon!) Great food and great people!

Prices are high. Employees seem to absolutely hate each other. Claim for "best burgers" falls incredibly short of the mark. Be prepared to sit next to someone who smells like an ashtray. It will be unavoidable.

Best tuna salad ever, seriously. Great chicken wrap also, surpassed only by the pleasant, friendly, capable staff. Will stop again for sure.

I pass by this place often, and even made the mistake of stopping in once on my way to Keene. Aside from a lackluster selection of goods that’re sold at city prices, their signage/advertising seems to rely on narrow minded insults. It seems like the owners want it to be a safe space for them and people with similar viewpoints, so let’s see how that business model works out for them. If you want a charming country store where everyone is welcome, this isn’t it.
