Staff is always very helpful and relatively knowledgeable. Convenient location and hours. Nice to be able to avoid the "Big Box Stores" as much as possible, while supporting a local small business. I only wish they would sell more items that we need most (ie lumber, drywall, insulation, etc...)

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. Recommend giving your time to EDMUND’s in Henniker over wasting your hard earned time. I’ve been going to this store weekly/if Not daily for almost 20 years, still ask me to see my license EVERY TIME. Won’t see me there again

I have shopped at Aubuchonsince the doors opened..Every shopping experience hasbeen above & beyond all theexpectations of products thatare available & outstandingstore personnel.Example: BIG John sets thebar out of sight for aspiringsales representatives.He is very professional &exceptionally personable.His greeting to ALL customers is warm & welcoming.BIG John is VERY familiar withstore inventory & spends the time necessary with all the customers & to insure thattheir Aubuchon experienceis memorable.He brings GREAT credit uponhimself, the Hillsborough store& the Aubuchon brand.I recommend a pay raise thatis commensurate with hisabilities & expertise.

I go here all the time and lately it seems like the staff is more interested in talking to each other than actually helping customers and when you interrupt them to ask them a question they have a attitude and give you a short answer and just walk away it just seems like the managers here don’t care anymore so I might have to start driving the extra 10 minutes and go somewheres else not that they will care. Also if you go on the website don’t believe what it says if something is available because it’s not there half the time or it’s not in the right place.

Friendly atmosphere, helpful, and prompt. I got most of the items I was looking for but some items were out of stock. I would have to say that they would probably have most, if not all items, you may be looking for. I'll definitely go back when I'm in need of something. Thanks for being there.

I always have a pleasant experience in my local Aubuchon Hardware store in Hillsborough , NH.They are all so helpful and friendly that in addition to helping me find exactly what item I am looking for, they also always seem to know exactly where “Marlow” (the store cat) is sleeping ! That’s another human touch you won’t find in a big box store !

They had a decent selection of products. The staff were friendly but they seemed to just be standing around the front door and I had to approach them for help. I was not able to find what I was looking for but it's not a huge deal.

Unless you are knowledgeable and know what you need when you go in, good luck. Very little stock compared to other local places, not very knowledgeable about home projects and very technologically illiterate with their own software. It took THREE clerks, including a senior employee, to try and use my company card before I grew too impatient afyer 15 minutes and paid with my own. Very expensive compared to other companies, not helpful (in fact most times I feel I'm teaching them). I only go if other places aren't open or if I'm desperate.

I would like to give a particular nod to Shawn, who has patiently addressed all my many paint inquiries! It's a great store to go into if you want to feel happy when you walk out!

This is a very nice local store in Hillsborough. They have a good assortment in many areas, most of the things that you would need to do a repair, replace or building something new. Saving a long drive and time.The service here is always excellent. If you have a question they are always polite and they will take the time to answer.
