We desperately needed a few hours of doggy daycare and this place was so very easy going. Dealt with 3 different people between calling/ drop off and pick up. Everyone was very courteous and easy going. They were able to accept short notice and super reasonable price.Above all dog seemed super happy and entertained upon pickup. If you are skiing at Pats peak this is the best place for your family dog.

Mary and her amazing staff took a great care of my dog, Nova! I could tell from Jade's eyes how much she truly loves my dog (she would even try to get Nova drink more throughout the day). I have recommended them to many of our friends...and we will return as soon as there is more snow in NH for skiing :) Excellent location to leave your dog when skiing in Sunapee, Pats Peak or even Okemo. They are caring and knowledgeable.

Our furbaby, has been going to A Precious Pet Resort (APPR) since he was 9 1/2 weeks old. Our pup is a cautious boy and was unsure of the staff at first, but we introduced him to Mary and her team a few times prior to dropping him off for 5-days a week doggie daycare. Our pup is now 5 1/2 years old and LOVES going to APPR. Although we now live 30 minutes away, we still take him to APPR whenever we need someone to care for him if we are going to be away for a few hours or a week.We attempted a different place when I changed jobs a few years ago to save on my commute for daycare drop off, but our pup did not adjust to this new place well. He was scared and did not respond well to the pet caregivers. The new place operated under a "dog park" mentality and all the dogs were grouped together during the day, but we learned our pup was telling them and us he didn't like that style. The new place had all the bells and whistles of fancy live feed cameras, indoor and outdoor playgrounds, but our dog didn't care about that and didn't care to remain at the new place.Our dog responds very well to positive reinforcement, how he is being treated and how he is being taken care of and our pup is happiest when in small groups or 1:1 playtime. APPR offers this type of service for him.APPR is a family-owned business so they do not have all the bells and whistles like some other surrounding or larger places within a 20-30 mile radius, but they care for, individualized care, and are attentive to the pets they service. When our pup is boarded, we provide plenty of treats, food and toppers along with his blanket and dog bed to provide a more 'comfort of home' feel for him. We know how much he eats, but any extra dog food is given back to us. APPR honors our feeding plan and gives the measurements, food, toppers and treats that we request. We have a wonderful relationship and 2-way communication with APPR. If we request grooming and/or bathing as a part of his stay, we ask for this at a minimal extra charge. Our pup has experienced both daily daycare and boarding services and he and we are happy with their service. When my husband and I travel, we know that our pup is in good hands with Mary and her team.Thank you all for taking such good care of our furbaby. Each time that I must leave my beloved dogs, I am very thankful for A Precious Pet Resort and the consistent competent care they provide. At the mention of "going to visit Mary & Jess", the dogs are on alert and enter their home-away-from-home with wagging tails and shining eyes. I drive away with confidence and peace of mind knowing that my elderly Siberian Husky and adolescent Collie are in safe and reliable hands. Thank you to all the staff!

We happened to be so lucky in finding APPR. Our current daycare had to close, and we decided to try APPR. Boy, are we glad we did!! The girls treat Diesel like he is one of their own. It is obvious they love what they do. Diesel can't wait to go to daycare! All I need to say is do you want to go see Jess and he runs to the door and waits patiently to be able to get in the car and go. The ride all the way to daycare he talks till he gets there. We also recently used them for boarding, and I couldn't have been happier. I was concerned because he has boarded at other places and lost weight and been a little stressed and had an injury to his nose due to rubbing on the chain link. When I picked him up he looked just as we left him. He lost 3 pounds but not due to not eating but I believe it was due to playing with his friends every day for a week. :) This place is not your typical kennel. The floors are heated and the animals aren't in a cage! They treat Diesel like he is their own and I couldn't ask for anything more. I love having the security of being able to drop my 40legged family member off and know he will be ok. Thank you ladies for treating Diesel as one of your own. Keep up the good work!! I highly recommend this place if you are looking for daycare or boarding.

Precious Pet is the best boarding hotel! Our dog Chloe goes here and she loves the owners and workers! Mary and Jess go out of their way to welcome our dog and our dog is always happy and well cared for when we pick her up. They have cat condos and we were in a bind and needed to board our cat and they came to the rescue. We can’t thank them enough! Wonderful place with radiant heated floors and real doors on the kennel spaces.

Precious pet is a great place, our 6 month old German shorthair loves it there. We started bringing her as a small puppy and from the get go they have taken great care of her. We bring her 2-3 days a week for day care and now she has a group of friends she plays with. What a huge help they are for our busy schedule. Make no mistake we love our dog and trust them entirely with her. A much better alternative to leaving her at home in a crate all day!Thank you for all you do for us!

I have a very sensitive and dramatic terrier mix who has struggled at a kennel before. When I picked her up from a Precious Pet Resort, she was just as I had dropped her!! No questionable marks and she wasn't stressed. AMAZING and I will use again.

We are so happy we found A Precious Pet Resort. Our puppy goes here for doggy daycare and he is always excited when we arrive and sleepy from playing when we pick him up! It has helped greatly with his dog-dog socialization and our trainer has noticed a huge difference in his confidence and his appropriate play with other dogs in class. The care the staff provides is excellent and we absolutely love it here.10/10 would recommend.

Mary was so helpful and caring! She is more concerned about my pet getting proper care than making an extra buck. She patiently explained her pet grooming services, what is best for my kitty, and said she will show me how to make sure he never gets matted fur again - even though it’ll probably mean never using her services again. I am so impressed! I must have called 15 places to get grooming services and she is by far the most concerned about the welfare of my cat. I highly recommend her services!!!

*UPDATE* Adler had her second stay at Precious Pet Resort and it was flawless. She came back happy, healthy, and obviously well taken care of. The prices were reasonable, and the staff were friendly and flexible. No question we would board her there again.I liked this business overall. Their facility was neat and well maintained. The staff were friendly and their prices were reasonable. They were readily flexible when we had to extend Adler's stay for an additional night and Adler greeted us enthusiastically. My only reason for not posting 5 stars was because Adler had obviously had a bathroom issue while there and her long fur trapped much of it against her backside. Because it hadn't been attended to for a day or two she had developed the equivalent of diaper rash. To be fair I didn't discover this until we had left and I did not contact the business regarding the outcome. It won't prevent me from boarding her here again and when we do I will certainly bring it up simply to ensure they are a little more thorough in checking back there.

We could not possibly say enough about Mary & Tim and their team of Jess, Sienna & Gabby! They have taken care of our Belgian Tervuren since she was a puppy, and she is ALWAYS so excited to be dropped off with them. She has had her nails clipped & teeth brushed & scraped - all chores at which they excel over me! We have used doggy day care for a few hours a day from time to time, and boarded both our dog & cat with them for up to a week at a time. Both pets are extremely well cared for, and obviously happy for their stays. Mary is also a great source of information on pet health.

I’m so disappointed. My cat eats one meal a day. We brought her home and she has already devoured 4 cans of Food. I left friskies along with canned food and the bag came back with the same amount. They did not use her food dishes. The didn’t give back a pillow I left. We were gone 10 days. I even called to check inOn her.

Omg this place is amazing !! My dog, Finn, gets to play most of day in the "big area" which is bigger then my own backyard. She plays with all her buddies and gets time jumping on rocks, swimming in kitty pools, and it's very affordable! When she is tired and needs a time by herself, she gets to go into her private room with no collar or leash on that has no chain link fences. In the room there are glass doors so she can check everything out. She always comes home exhausted.

I really wanted this to be the ideal doggy daycare for my fur baby but it is not. He went a few times and was reluctant but fine (normal for him from previous dog daycares from before we moved). I don't know what happened but one day I picked him up and he was clearly upset, the next 3 times I tried to take him he hid in the corner of the backseat and was shaking so violently with fear I knew I could not leave him there.

When I drive up from Connecticut my dog stays here. She is so excited to see her friends and really enjoys being there. The staff are wonderful and treat her like she is royalty.

Misrepresentation - Calming and peaceful not here. If I didn't have a GPS I never would’ve found it, no signs. Sounding like they were overrun by dogs. First impressions I should've drove out of the parking lot. Piles of old materials around the parking lot. Outside didn't looked maintained. Baking was worse inside. Individual asked for records, Records were never mentioned making the appointment or verifying the appointment, I left. I look at there website again did a reverse photo search seeing where photos originate from. The two i searched both had nothing to do with them. So I continued found a overwhelming amount of photos that aren’t associated with the business at all. They came off the internet even ones that look like a grooming shop came off the internet. With that how am I to know what really happens there? I support local businesses, this isn’t one of them. My pet means to much to bring my dog there.

We are able to board our guinea pigs here when we go away. They have a very caring staff, and take great care of the animals there. They have let us leave our pets there on a moment's notice!!!

I just got a puppy and he absolutely LOVES it here. He's made a lot of new friends here. Every time I pull into the driveway he jumps into my lap to jump out of the car and runs right up to the door. They love the animals as if they are their own.

Mary, Jess and the team are the only ones I would trust w/ my boy. Buddy has been going to them since I adopted him in 2013. We have been to other daycare facilities, but no one cares for the dogs like they do. I wouldn't trust anyone else for boarding.
