Was staying around the area for a wedding during their off season and so little to no cafes or restaurants were opened nearby. This general store/cafe was the only thing available for most of the wedding guests to pick up supplies and quick food. Although, they were a little backed up they were still very polite and were able to manage the chaos. I absolutely enjoyed the egg sandwich and crullers. All tasted very fresh!

We saw an episode on Chronicle about the town including the General Store and had to go. The reviews were spot on as everyone was super friendly and the egg salad sandwich and turkey roll up were excellent and very fresh. I'd go back soon for a breakfast sandwich that looked and smelled great.Parking: We had no problem finding a place to park around 10:45 am

Had a terrific lunch here. Had the pate sandwich that included arugula and small pickles. The bread was fresh and the whole sandwich had a great flavor. Very tasty. Also picked up some local goods here for souvenirs. Inexpensive lunch and reasonably priced selection of food and local goods. Can get crowded for lunch. We were lucky to have a table on a Thursday in mid-Oct.

What a great find! We were on our way to Home Depot in nearby Keene, got hungry for breakfast on the way, and googled a few places. So glad we decided on this one! The breakfast burrito was excellent. We're from Texas, and the salsa verde in the burrito is right up there with the best! Excellent coffee, and a nice quaint little store too. Worth going out of your way to dine here.

Great little deli with outside tables, and live music dinners on Friday night. Even during COVID-19, 'cause the picnic tables are outside. Friendly staff & fantastic breakfast sandwiches.

Get lunch, coffee or buy potatoes and shampoo. This general store has a selection of useful necessities and the sandwiches, soups and salads can be enjoyed with amazing view on the porch overlooking historic Harrisville

Beyond charming! My boyfriend and I absolutely loved it here from the ice cream (the best we’ve ever had in our lives) to the breakfast sandwiches. A must visit if you’re in the area, we definitely plan on coming back someday :)

Service is a hit or miss. A few good front line people there. The young gentlemen that work there are wonderful. The ladies are cranky and never smile with the exception of the short, little gal or young lady who has dark hair, likes to run and has tattoos. We were there a few days ago when she served us. Wish we got her name. She is excellent always great service and friendly but she isn't there as often as she should be because she brightens up the place. The sandwiches are pre-made and not fresh at all. The food selection is limited but that is to be expected for a small and non restaurant. The grill closes way too early and this place could use a makeover. The location is 👍. The prices are way too high. We cannot imagine how they make money or stay in business unless it is supported by the locals but it always seems closed. It used to have wonderful food and service. That was about 5 years ago, though.

If you're in the Dublin /Harrisville /keene area of the Monadnock Region, always stop here. For breakfast, lunch, snacks, etc, there is no reason to stop elsewhere.

We were directed here by a local, and it was underwhelming. I think their heart is in the right place serving their community, and the food was ok. Parking is not great and it does not have much ambiance for the “charming lunch site” we were told about, “by the lake” and quaint red bricked buildings. It is not on the way to anything (we stopped in after our appt. at 5 star Wellscroft Fence...) so I definitely would not do this again.

Nice little deli/bakery serving breakfast and lunch with gluten free options. They also have specialty chocolates and deserts, local frozen meats and basic convenience items. They have a small seating area and a friendly atmosphere. Make sure to try the almond torte.

This friendly community store has seen many changes in ownership over the decades, but despite these changes, this little general store has been a mainstay and cultural hub for this historical factory town set along side the gentle hills and lakes. Expect warm smiles and enthusiasm from both employees and the villagers. If you need directions or local information, plenty of useful advice can be provided. Awesome deli bar that offers a delicious menu and emphasize the local product including meats, vegetables, breads and crafts. The food is made fresh daily. Enjoy!

Last time I was in was 42 years ago and like everything else it has changed. My opinion only... It's ok but I won't return. Didn't feel like waiting on line for the food and unless you live in town and need a few quick groceries nothing held my interest. To many tourist the day we went to stand in line.

Very cute little store, with lots of homemade and/or healthy options. I love how they offer reusable small glass mason jars for free water, rather than plastic cups. Nice lunch options, and the store has anything you might need on the go.

So disappointed. A number of years ago, we visited this store and loved it! It is definitely not the same place. The beautiful freshly made to order sandwiches and wonderful baked good were gone. The sandwiches were premade. The service was slow and poor. So sad.

The real deal country general store and cafe with a great selection of locally-sourced breakfast and lunch items, with seating for about 20, and a parking lot full of Subarus. Really enjoyed the house-made granola and yogurt with berries, and great brewed coffee.

My family has been coming up here since long before I was born. The General Store has always been here and it's always been a great resource to have. The people are friendly and the food is very good. Coffee is nice and strong also :)

A small store in a small town, with a truly 'general' stock of goods. Seasonal, locally sourced foods are made hot or cold, coffee is served, and seating is provided inside and on the porch. Great hilltop views of old Harrisville and beyond.
