The best thing about university towns is that they usually have amazing bookstores.I ended up ordering food here and it was fantastic! Coffee was really great too. This is a great spot to come in, grab something to eat, and hunt for a book. The bookstore has plenty of options, Biden spaces to retreat into to sit down and read.Plenty of outdoor space as well for reading, work, and eating.I’ll be back! Love this place!

To say anything is quaint in Hanover New Hampshire is an understatement. The entire town is extremely village-esque.This bookstore is no different yielding an impressive number of best sellers and varied hardcover content. The cafe integrated into the bookstore has everything from pastries, cakes, and sandwiches. And for some of the more tempting options they offer wine and beer as well. The service is fantastic and the staff moves in the tiny kitchen to produce what's needed. In short, I'm a big fan of this place and whenever I visit relatives in Hanover, I'm making a point to stop in two or three times.Do yourself a favor and grab yourself a cup of coffee and look over their selection of books. My guilty pleasure is the "coffee table book" section.

Nice bookstore adjacent to a cafe. Lots of new and interesting titles. Cute kids section and several little areas to sit, eat, study, read, etc. They also have a small collection of cute puzzles.

This coffee shop / bar is one of the few safe spaces for queer people in the area. Everyone is so kind and the drinks a great!I wish they had a rewards system for the Cafe and not just the bookstore though.

The photos are somewhat misleading - it's a tight but cozy space, filled with bookshelves organized maze-like to pack the most variety into the space. They have kids books as well as adult, and I found graphic novels I haven't been able to find anywhere else! There are plenty of spots to sit and read, but they were all filled when I visited at about 10am on a weekday Lovely place for book lovers, support independent bookstores!!

Lovely bookstore with a great coffee shop. I only drink decaf, which can be hard to find. It was a great latte!

I live in town. Great place to grab a coffee and breakfast. Usually busy with lots of students but the vibe is productive. You could definitely sit and work if you find a spot. I like picking up books from there bc it’s a small business and you can also order online and pick them up outside so it’s pretty hassle free. They also have cute gifts for friends. Sometimes there is amazing jazz music on the weekends were you can have some wine and chill. Love this place but wish it wasn’t soo busy all the time. Make sure to wait around for your drink so you hear your name and not get confused. They are also dog friendly 💯

Such a fab addition to Hanover! Great coffee, breakfast sandwiches, and pastries with lots of little nooks to sit and catch up with a friend or get some studying done. Very comprehensive nonfiction section I always find something interesting in!

Nice atmosphere! Pleasant book store and cafe. Unfortunately the latte was only luke warm even after after it was returned and done over. Sandwiches were ok except they were too expensive. The Greek-coise salad was advertised as having a hard boiled egg but there was no egg of any kind and cost 12 dollars.

Coffee is as good as Intelligentsia in Chicago before it got bought by a conglomerate (and that’s saying something). Best breakfast sandwich in the downtown area. And working with the staff to order books has been a simple pleasure.

This is my favorite new spot in the Upper Valley. A warm and welcoming place for people to gather over delicious coffee and treats, or for individual folks to sit down and write. The book selection is amazing for such a small place, and ordering books they don't have is super-easy. And the staff is wonderful, all the time, even when they are super-busy... which they often are, as more people discover this little gem

Recent grad here. Fell in love with this place! Awesome atmosphere. Not too quiet but enough respect of the cafe/bookstore-going folk that work or contemplation doe not go evaded.Gluten-free blueberry cornbread is stellar. Sour ale is fantastic. Hardwood everywhere! Fantastic array of music. Genial staff.SO happy to add Still North to my Hanover circuit.

Love this coffee/bookshop, great food and drinks, everything is always fresh and made from local bakeries. Book selection is great, too! Have on everything from poetry, to cooking, to nature books, and fiction.

Incredible food, drink, and a great place to read for an hour or so a little bit of work. The space is beautiful. Stop in, get a coffee and maybe allow yourself an impulse buy of a good new book! Great book selection and it seems the staff has been very intentional about creating a diverse set of books, and are open to recommendations from the community. I hope this store thrives for years to come. They have wine and beer as well now!

Great place to read a book while having a good draft beer, cider or a wine glass. You can also enjoy a pastry, sandwich or a tea or coffee. Best of all, you can meet someone and have a good conversation over a good beverage!

Very nice idea of combining a book store and a cafe and bar. It is cozy, friendly, and the coffee is great. They also have light food to eat, such as sophisticated toast, with ricotta, figs, and prosciutto, baked goods, cookies. Nice selection of wine and beer for such a small location. The book area is well stocked, and the friendly employees will order anything for you if you can't find it. I don't give it five stars because the seating is limited, other than stools at the bar.

I really like this place. I love that I can grab a cup of coffee and work out of here. Their collection of books is great and I love the way they're organized. I only wish that they had clearly labelled vegan food options because I'd love to be able to go in for lunch someday!

#1 I love local, independent bookstores. Still North is a favorite! Not only because they have a well curated selection of books and friendly staff. Also because their cafe has delicious lattes, drinks and snacks. In the good weather, sitting outside at a sidewalk cafe is delightful!

This is a classic bougie book store filled with a lot of nuanced books and COOL haircuts. Pretty great coffee nonetheless, and decent prices compared to other Hanover businesses. And lots of unique book choices.

Best Donuts!!! The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. I had the best time browsing the extensive collection of books, chatting with the staff, and cozying up with a glass of wine (in a mug!) on the couch. Also, they make all of their bread in house which is absolutely delectable. 5/5 highly recommend! Can’t wait to come back next time.

This place is really good. Efficient and reliable. Love the sandwich options and bakery items (they are from piecemeal pies which is a wonderful other local bakery/coffee place). They are a great addition though red wagon pastries were good as well. So glad this place is in hanover. Best bakery coffee shop in town.

Far and away the best place for coffee in Hanover. The barista really knows what they are doing, and they have top-class equipment (la marzocco espresso machine, good grinders...etc), good technical skills (proper dosing, weighing of individual drinks, frothing...etc) and really good coffee beans. The atmosphere is also great (nice chairs and light) and the book selection is solid for a small bookstore. Highly recommend

Amazing book store! Very easy to see what books they have in stock on their website, and the contact-free pickup is convenient and well-organized. The customer service is great too-- they were happy to accommodate when I asked for an earlier pick-up time for my order. They have clearly worked hard to create a good virtual browsing experience, with great recommendations and selection overall.

What a gem! Full of a wonderful variety of books, drinks, and seating, this is a wonderful place to browse the stacks and grab a snack. While it's near Dartmouth, it's not just a student hangout, drawing folks from all over the Upper Valley. Weekends can be packed, so arrive early and see if you can't snag a seat on the comfy couch.

Amazing coffee from Carrier Roasting. Plenty of room to sip coffee and browse the impressive book selection. The atmosphere is very inviting. We are so thrilled to have Still North in the neighborhood.
