Went to pick up medications after being on hold for half an hour the day before, got there, stood in line for twenty minutes and then was told that it was being “put up” and to go to the back of the line again and come back in twenty MORE minutes. Horrible customer service and clearly understaffed. Would give zero stars if I could

The pharmacy here is fantastic. Misty and Jules have been wonderful helping work out issues with moving prescriptions back and forth from home to there. They're the best! We're lucky we have them!

I picked up my medication after 30 minutes of waiting. I didn't get any instructions on the medication, and it turns out that it needed to be refrigerated. I realized it after I left it at room temperature for a day. They say they won't give me a replacement.

Rushing to CVS late at night because you don't have a glucose monitor while your husband is dizzy and on the verge of passing out isn't fun. Having no idea what the difference between the products is and being unsure what else you need besides the device only ratchets the anxiety of that situation higher. luckily for us Ruth was there with knowledge and empathy. She was sweet and helped us find exactly what we needed for our late night (minor) emergency.

12 days after this CVS Pharmacy received my refill request, the order still wasn’t ready. When I inquired at the counter, I was told that they were way behind and that 12 days really wasn’t much of a wait for them. I was also informed that I should pay no attention to the CVS app, because “it doesn’t work”, it is not at all accurate and should not be used.To add insult to injury, I waited in line for almost 20 minutes before I reached the register to be told my medication was not ready. I imagine that people with jobs and tight schedules have been inconvenienced unnecessarily by this pharmacy.

Pharmacy techs and pharmacist need to work on their customer service. Seems when there is an issue they take no initiative in contacting your doctors office. So glad I only had to come here one time. If I could give negative stars I would.

Time and time again, they've messed up my prescriptions, even the ones on automatic refill. Today I went in, waited in line and was told my prescription wasn't ready when I got to the counter, even though my provider confirmed that they had called it in the day prior. How do you mess that up? This exact thing had happened to several people waiting in front of me, so clearly they are having huge organizational problems.

Sadly, I have to confirm the many terrible reviews you'll see below. I'd give ZERO STARS if I could. This Hanover location has clearly been understaffed for some time and has finally imploded. Refill requests used to be fulfilled in a day or two; then it was a week or two; and the backlog keeps growing. My advice: If you still have prescriptions here, forget about the refills, and don't try to get those RXs transferred somewhere else. Instead, ASK YOUR PHYSICIANS TO SEND NEW RXs SOMEWHERE ELSE. I already tried the normal transfer procedure; the other pharmacy can't get a response from this one.

If I could do negative stars I would.The pharmacist is absolutely awful. She is the rudest person behind that counter. She has no shame in being openly passively aggressive to the other employees. When dealing with customers, she will roll her eyes and make if very clear we are all just like gum on the bottom of her shoe. She is incredibly condescending to everyone around her.It is no wonder that place is short staffed. She is driving everyone away.

The pharmacy at this CVS has long been somewhat understaffed, but they are in a state of almost complete meltdown right now. Lines of 18-20 people snaking through the store, with others sitting in the waiting area. There are 3 cash registers at the pharmacy but *very* rarely will you see more than one of them open. (This has long been the case.)Overhearing people who were originally promised a prescription on Friday come on Tuesday and they still haven't gotten to it. The clerks often can't find prescriptions that are in complete disarray in the various bins.Other reviews say that the workers are rude, but they are ridiculously overworked, since management — either local or at CVS corporate (or both) — has apparently decided that the current situation is the most profitable arrangement for them.

They WILL NOT ANSWER THE PHONE. I use their online tools, and then my script sits there "being processed" for days with no information on when it will be ready. The line is always long and why do they close for an hour in the middle of the day - ridiculous. At least acknowledge on your "on hold" message that you don't actually answer calls.

This has got to be the worst CVS in New England. Rude staff, terrible hours that don‘t work for working people (why can‘t one single person man the counter during lunch time? You don‘t have to ALL eat at the EXACT same time and shut down completely!!). There is one good thing about the entire place: Employee Dory, who is kind, efficient, smart, helpful, funny and the only reason why I haven‘t transferred to Walgreens yet. Dory is absolutely perfect.

Don't go here for your prescription medications! I did not because (1) I observed a cashier search for two prescriptions for a customer that took her everywhere and it took over 5 min. (2) another customer waits for 25 min, talking on the phone when she was told it would take 5 min, and (3) and I went there to get my prescription of not being available to wait for another 25 min and it was no longer in the system or ever recorded. I can't in good conscience trust that my prescriptions won't be mistaken for something else so I won't get any more in the future. The only saving grace to this place is that it's open from 9am-9pm most days. However, I've decided to send all my meds through to Dartmouth Hitchcock at Centerra. I trust the hospital, or anywhere really will do a better job than the incompetence I observed. I hope you make the best decision for yourself in where to get your prescriptions!

The staff here are easily the most condescending healthcare workers I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with, and as an RN that is saying something. The staff here are judgmental, rude, dismissive, and do not go out of their way to help or guide the patients through the complex world of insurance and medication. Instead, they tell patients the price and when patients try to ask further questions, they’re met with responses like “I don’t know, maybe you could find a coupon or something.” No offer for assistance, no recommendations of where to look - just the bare minimum so they can say that they “assisted the patient.” It’s a shame to talk about other healthcare workers like this, but the level of unprofessionalism and disrespect was too much to not say something about it online.Do not go to this pharmacy, period. You’re better of taking the extra 15 minutes to Hannaford or Walmart in West Lebanon.

Extremely frustrating that they refuse to answer the phone. I sat on hold for over 90 minutes total after trying several times to get through to simply confirm whether a prescription has been called in. Don't use the pharmacy at this store. Find another one!

The pharmacy doesn’t answer phone calls. I was on hold for 45 minutes, while my husband drove down to the CVS and he heard that there were 3 pharmacy calls. He got my meds and I hung up… 2 pharmacy calls rang overhead. Bad customer/patient care.

If I could give zero stars I would. The pharmacy is ridiculous. They won’t answer the phone. What should takes 3 minutes takes an hour to get resolved. This is all the time. If you can avid using this place, I would suggest you do.

Apparently the pharmacy is severely understaffed. Month after month my prescriptions are not filled until I come in person and wait, despite waiting days after my original order. Really disappointed in what used to be a strong pharmacy.

I used the passport photo service, I thought there would be a photo booth, but no, one of the checkout staff comes out with a cheap digital camera and takes a photo of you in front of a white sheet. They "guarantee" that the photo will be accepted, but it was blurry, low quality and was instantly rejected by the online system I was using. I took one at home by myself that was far better. This service costs $32 because if you want a digital copy you have to pay for printed copies ($16) and are forced to buy a cheap USB stick for another $16. The computers used to print additional passport photos were extremely slow and one completely froze in the menu. Kodak should be embarrassed to have their name associated with this extortion. The staff were friendly, helpful but apologetic about this weird system.

As I was waiting in line to checkout, the cashier asked the man in front of me, who may have appeared to be an immigrant, for ID. He wasn't purchasing cigarettes or alcohol, so he seemed confused. She asked for his ID again, multiple times, in an aggressive fashion. He said 'no'. She finally moves on, and lets him pay. Perhaps she could see the disgust on my face. When it is my turn to checkout, she tells me that she was curious where his accent was from, so she wanted to see his ID, so that she could understand where the accent was from. (as if drivers licenses show what country you immigrated from). What a ridiculous story. Clearly she wanted to intimidate the poor man. I wish I had noticed her name badge so that I could have reported her to CVS corporate for that disgusting behavior.

It's absolutely astounding that CVS lets them get away with running a store like that. If you are looking for a way to make your health issues worse, this is the place to go...

Worst pharmacy I've ever worked with. I originally chose them for the convenience of multiple locations, but every time I try to have a prescription transferred a mistake is made. They continuously claim they don't have prescriptions in the system even when I was on the phone with the doctor's office 5 minutes before who assured me the prescriptions had been sent multiple times. Pharmacists and pharm techs are RUDE and talks down to customers on the phone, raising their voice at you and insisting you're wrong even when they realize the mistake was their own. Terrible experience for the past year, don't recommend, switching to Walgreens.

One of the pharmacists at this location was completely unprofessional and distinctively rude to me when I was on the phone with them. The woman (I don't remember her name) cussed me out for a simple question. She must've been having an awful day, but that's no excuse to treat someone trying to get answers for their own job. This is supposed to be a business to help patients and other medical/dental offices, for which I work in the medical field. When you speak and disrespect someone with questions, then you should not work where you are at. I do not recommend this pharmacy to anyone in the Upper Valley, yet alone other business to associate with.

Please use any pharmacy but this one. Multiple times now they have told me my prescription will be ready for pickup, but when I go in, they don't have it and tell me I need to ask for a refill. Also that refill won't be ready for a couple of days. REALLY??? I finally switched over to Walmart so I don't have to keep missing doses because it's bad for my health. I also told them multiple times that they have the wrong phone number for me because they sent reminders to my mom's phone instead, but it never gets fixed. Extremely disappointed!!

Went to pick up a prescription at 1:30. Two people behind the counter but couldn't help us because they were "closed for lunch". Anyone ever hear of a staggered lunch.
