They give you a hard time if you have to return something. What they do is they scan your card and then they tell you it's not coming up. Also they don't have anyone that can order windows properly, they send you to Seabrook and tell you there's someone who knows what they're doing there

You will not find one person that store NOT working!!! They are all so helpful! It’s overwhelming to walk into that store to begin with so to have so many helping hands is great! You will never hear them say “I don’t know”. They take out there computer and get all the answers you need. Great clean store and the staff are very friendly and helpful

The North Hampton Home Depot has the best employees in the garden center! I was picking up 8 bags of mulch and a young man loaded it on the hand trolley and loaded it my the car. Their manager was very helpful finding an edger and garden stacks too! Great job!

I will start this review by saying I will do everything I can to avoid the Portsmouth store and take the extra time to come to the North Hampton location. My wife and I came in this Sunday to buy a new barbecue. We started looking at the selection and Eamonn came over to offer us help. We were so surprised that he approached us and we didn't have to go looking for him like we would have at the Portsmouth store. He was helpful, friendly, offered us advice, organized other team members to get us a boxed one (so it would fit in the car), got it on a flatbed, helped us check out and topped it off by assisting putting it in the car. The other team members were equally as nice and helpful. We haven't had a retail experience this positive in years. We would give 10 stars if we could. See you folks next Sunday!

This is a good Home Depot location. There was plenty of staff around to help guide me where to go. Outdoor selection was pretty good. The store wasn’t too busy.

I shop at this Home Depot only because it is around the corner from my house. Otherwise, I would go to any other HD. I have read the reviews and they are mediocre at best, having shopped here as much as I have and being a tradesman, I can absolutely see both sides of the reviews. There are some good employees that genuinely want to help people and do their job but it's about a 50/50 mix. I have many times seen the employees use their time there as a social gathering as customers wander around trying to find what they're looking for And not being asked if they need help. Other times, I have seen good employees doing their job and helping customers as best they can. As I stated above, about a 50/50 mix (not good odds). This suggests the management is likely the same at this location as it has been like this for a long time. This store survives because of its location. I have started going to Middleton Builders supply in Hampton, instead. It's a little further from me & a bit more expensive but they sell quality products and have a knowledgeable staff, ready & willing to help customers. If corporate ever reads local reviews my suggestion is this. Send someone from corporate to this location to observe over a few months To see if this is the type of quality & service HD wants to project. If not, put them on notice that there will be a house cleaning. Those who are ready willing and able to tow the company line should be allowed to stay, clean house on the rest. In my humble opinion, this would be the only way to save this store, should the competition set up in town.

Employees are great. Same old cheap prices on line for items that aren't available or not as described. I wasted a month waiting for product that didn't arrive. Was told to reorder it and that I would get an additional discount. Day item was supposed to arrive I got a text telling me the item is out of stock.

I was in to look at lawnmowers a few weeks ago, I was about to leave and go to the competition (Lowes) when an employee Karie-Joe asked if I needed help with anything. I told her I was heading to the competition and she asked what she could do to change my mind. I ended up purchasing a mower. I used it for the first time this week. She helped me make the right informed decision. She took her time answering all my questions. The cashier was also super friendly. I will be bringing my business to North Hampton Home depot in future because of the great experience with Karie-Joe..she changed my opinion of your store ..I really want management to know they have a great employee patient, kind, and willing to go an extra mile. Thank You Karie-Joe. My lawn looks great and I'll see you soon!

It is Home Depot. They are literally all the same. However I could not find any lids for the famous 5 gallon buckets. The 2 employees I interacted with were super helpful with finding me a generic lid that suited my needs. My dog also appreciates having pet friendly salt in stock!

My mother ordered my family a washing machine from Home Depot for Christmas. After delaying delivery 4 times they finally delivered it today, but it won’t work and they also won’t send someone to fix for over a week. Despite my calling them within 10 minutes of when they left my house. Don’t buy appliances from these people.I wanted to update this. A friend who knows a bit about appliances came over and got it working. When they delivered it they left packing materials inside the machine and didn’t level it. That was the only problem. We would have had to wait over a week to find that out.

3 stars are for having one of the items we shopped for in the correct place according to website stated location. Zero stars for showing me an item that was not at this particular location after clicking the button that indicated that I would be shown only products at this location. Upon looking closer at the website, it said that the item was at a "nearby store". Please stop this practice. Also, the cashier was quite aggravated to open her register to take care of the growing lines at the only two open registers. She literally did not make eye contact or speak a single word during the entire transaction.

I've been to this place twice in the last year and each time was surprised by how incapable the staff were. I ordered something for store pick up and when I get there the woman at the desk tells me it's not there and it's my fault for ordering it incorrectly. I ask her to get a store manager and he finds my order within 30 seconds. I go in there today to buy an appliance and no one is at the desk so I wait 10 minutes, ask another employee to page, wait another 10 minutes, go to customer service and the guy at the desk is calling a bunch of different numbers with no response. After another 10 minutes or so I just give up and walk out. There's just doesn't seem to be any management or problem solving going on at this store.

Went to the North Hampton, NH location to buy a utility trailer today. I got exactly what I wanted at a great price. I was helped quickly and efficiently by a gentleman at the service desk, as well as by associates Robert and Heather who were both attentive and very, very helpful. All of these stores are exactly the same except for the people who work at each location. This store earns the highest marks because of people like Robert and Heather!

The best Home Depot in the area with a good selection in the gardening and electrical departments. Finding help is getting harder in these places all the time but the staff who are here are knowledgeable and friendly. It's easy to reach this location from Portsmouth and Greenland given the proximity to the highway. Some of the products are cheaper when you visit the store's website and chose home delivery.

So Pleased with Service I received at No. Hampton Home Depot. I picked up a huge supply of Steel roofing, Plywood, and other lumber. When I asked the cashier for help loading my Truck. THREE Employees came out to help. It felt Great not to break my back loading all that Material ! Will Always shop there!

I recently went to the Lafayette Rd Home Depot looking to buy a snow blower and a lawn tractor. Their website said the snow blower was in stock (multiple) and there was 1 available of the lawn tractor I was looking for. Once I spoke to the associate he said there was only the display snow blower left and he couldn't sell it. When I asked about the lawn tractor their website said they had, he said he was "doubtful it would be back there' but would not go look. I'm standing there trying to spend thousands of dollars in this store and their associate is doing everything he can to prevent this happening. So I went and spent my money somewhere else. The service was terrible at this store.
