We really enjoyed our time at Adventure Bound! Despite some of the negative reviews, we had a really pleasant stay. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful - from check in, to trash collection, and any of the kid’s activities. They addressed any concerns we had as well. They have the cleanest bathrooms I’ve ever seen at a campsite. I would say the rules were respected by everyone pretty well and we didn’t have any issues during “quite hours”. Loved that it was family friendly and that there were activities for the kids (the morning train ride was a hit). Even the extra rentals were reasonably priced (kayaking, canoes, pedal carts). The only drawbacks would be is the tent sites are a little small, and don’t have a lot of privacy. The fire rings are also a little small. But all in all we had a great time!

We stayed this passed weekend in a rental camper. It was beautiful, the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, and our family/group had a great time! The bounce house, water slides, kiddie pool, and regular pool are all a great time for the kiddos, and the candy bar bingo is awesome! My family used to camp here years and years ago when I was a little girl and it was Jelly Stone, but even with the changes, it’s still wonderful. The train ride is a huge hit with our littles, and the River access is awesome. Will certainly be back again and again! 😊

Highly recommend. Despite some bad reviews we are long time campers and enjoyed this place as did our children. You could not ask for better staff/management. Everyone who worked here was kind, respectful, and friendly. There was plenty for the kids to do, and the grounds were clean. Dog friendly as well. We will certainly be returning. Sites were big enough for our 37ft camper-shady too which was nice.

This was our first time staying here and we are so happy we found this place. We stayed tent camping on the 2 bigger sites. The sites was perfect for our family, 5 adults, 2 teens and 2 toddlers. The placement was perfect for us to get to the pool, splash pad, playground and store. Our little ones loves the splash pad and the pool but the biggest hit was the water bounce house with slide. The 2 girls loved it! The bathrooms were so clean and kept up. I made sure to thank the lady I saw cleaning them one morning for doing a great cleaning, as we were staying across from the bathroom, we never had that “camping bathroom” smell. The store had everything you could need of you forgot anything. The people so so nice and friendly. We talked to the owner (forgot to get his name!) we told us about the additions they are doing. We can not wait to go back next summer! It was a perfect find and well worth the visit. I highly recommend to visit them.

We had a great time, even with a very rainy week. We had a late check in, where one of the staff members showed us where to get our site info, and then showed us to our site and offered to help get us backed in if needed. We loved seeing so many families out splashing in the rain and making the most of their vacation. Our toddler loved the train, and the splash pad and playground were great amenities for us! All of the staff that we interacted with was so friendly and very helpful! Our son loved the maintenance man in the John Deere that “raced him” while we were playing with him in his power wheels truck. It was just a nice touch of someone taking time to entertain him when they were under no obligation to. We had an issue with our site which was handled immediately. We called Arthur and he and the same maintenance man(I believe his name is Devin) came within minutes to help us get it figured out. We look forward to coming back in the future! Thanks for a great stay!Nearby activities: We enjoyed the amenities at the campground, but did travel over to Fun Spot for the afternoon one of the rainy days. It was definitely great for all ages. Our family aged from 1-1/2 to 38 all had a great time!Safety: The staff was very friendly and helpful. They went around the campground at night in a golf cart too, which felt like a quiet way to be available if needed.Walkability: The size of the campground and the layout was perfect for us! Our toddler loves to go for walks and it was a great area for him to be able to walk and have some space to run.

My family recently stayed at a campsite. We showed up late and were still greeted with the most wonderful staff! We had done a few activities before we went camping and had we known what an amazing experience we would have we would have skipped the Boston hustle and just gone camping. They have many wonderful activities for kids and adults. Their prices are very fair and we didn't want to leave. We are looking forward to MANY MANY more summers spent at Adventure Bound as our kids grow!

This was our first time. Here, I had a very good time. The cabins were comfortable. And there's plenty to do they are in the area. There was plenty to do bingo and other activities that were scheduled the weekend we were there. They had a 80's cover band they were very good.We would have no problem in going back next summer and possibly bringing our dog.

We have been staying here for the last 3 years, we plan an annual trip every year. The camp ground is SO family friendly, my daughter and niece love every part of this place. The pool, water park, water slide, River, playgrounds, train, ceramics, painting and so much more! What really stood out this year was the staff, the girls at the front desk every year are awesome, but Devin went above and beyond, always checking on us and talking with us when he’d go by, joking with the kids, and making sure we were all having the best experience. We already can’t wait to go back for our next year trip! Thank you to all the staff, who work hard especially in the pouring rain!!!

Had a Very good time. The pool was awesome. The atmosphere was great. Would definitely go back. Only complaint I had that the Camper sites. The hook ups were very far away and only the seasonal sites had sewer hook ups. Other than that this place was great. Customer service was great. The camp store was very well stocked. A lot of activities for kids would definitely recommend checking this campground out.

Find yourself a place that makes you drive 3 1/2 hours every summer because it’s your perfect home away from home. We absolutely love Adventure Bound NH for a multitude of reasons. First and foremost is the staff. Each year when we come back, it’s like we are with family. We catch up, chat and share our past year with Autumn and Aleyah in the store. The grounds and facilities are always clean and fully stocked. Also, each year we go, we come home with another families contact and remain in touch. We can’t thank this campground enough for the way it fills our hearts and adds to our core memories. Thank you for all you do!

My boyfriend and I wanted to take our daughter camping for her first time and we decided on Yogi Bear because years and years ago it used to be a enjoyable place. I will never come here again.. from the loud screams of drunk people until 3am, to the disgusting pool that was so overcrowded with people who had no respect of others. We couldn’t even take our daughter in the pool for more than 5 minutes. It doesn’t seem like the rules are enforced at all which is super disappointing. We are leaving first thing tomorrow morning and would of left tonight if it wasn’t for the constant rain. I’m so disappointed with our stay. Nothing is clean, there’s NO quiet time, people & kids are driving the golf carts everywhere all day/night laying on the horn, yelling, and being obnoxious. Is there anyone in-charge here? I really hope this place changes for the sake of other people coming here expecting more from this place. We will never come back.

I do not like this campground at all. I have been going to yogi bear for a long time and have high expectations because of yogi bear and now with the new owners. I didn't have a good experiences with the workers and they unfriendly, horrible attitude, unprofessional, and rude. I felt out of placed and targeted. we didn't get treated like others and that was uncomfortable for us.Francisco is an employee at the camp ground. He's very rude and unprofessional. We have lost one of our phones on the volleyball court. it was 10 minutes after 10 and it was quiet hour. quiet hour means being quiet and don't disturb others around us, not, you have to go back to your campsite and stay there till morning. They made it seem like there was a curfew and that's the time you go to bed but really it's quiet hour. we understand what quiet hours means.we had one employee that was understanding. he came up and ask if we were looking for something. we said yes. we have lost a phone. he said okay and did a round on his golf cart around the park to make sure everything is okay. Then he came back and asked any luck? I said we logging into find my iPhone to locate it. he said okay and with the light on his golf cart ,he shined it where it said it was located to help us. I wish I got his name because he was nice and understanding, all of a sudden Francisco came and started problems. we were all stress about the phone, as he was yelling and being unprofessionalwe told him we are looking for a phone. He discarded what was said and proceed to yell and said rude things to us. riding off on his golf cart saying rude things and threaten to kick us out.I never had a problem with this camping resort before but man was this the worst. please be carful on where you book your camping spots because I do not recommend coming here if Francisco is still working here. Be safe everyone.

Absolutely fell in love with this place. We just tried this place for the very first time as a huge family. We stayed in a wonderful little cabin that sleeps 8 comfortably with our own bathroom while the majority of our group slept in tents. We had kids, ages 5 to 55. They have completely renovated the public bathrooms, showers and laundry room. Bathrooms are very clean, 24 hour laundromat and a store that has everything you need at great prices from icecream, firewood, candy, rain ponchos, eggs, milk, bread, beer and so much more. Very friendly staff that wave to you as they drive by. Lots of fun things for kids to do, there are train rides, volleyball net, horseshoes, basketball, arcade, waterpark, giant water slide and pool as well as a beautiful clear river that you can rent canoes for, or just swim in. Very clean very quiet, very relaxing and very friendly staff. We are already planning to come back next year. Lots of great events for the kids every weekend. I highly suggest the golf cart rental. The kids love riding in it. We took our dogs and they also enjoyed the river.Rooms: Our cabin had a very clean bathroom and the refrigerator and freezer worked so well we had ice all weekend that we had brought from home in a bag.Safety: Very safe for kids and dogs.Walkability: Very nice area to walk around.Food & drinks: They have a little convenient store as well as a snack bar that serves, burgers, hotdogs, icecream, and really great cheesy fries.Noteworthy details: Giant inflatable water slide, water park and swimming pool. Golf cart rentals were a lot of fun. Very clean updated public bathrooms that are air-conditioned. Very clean campsite and friendly staff. You can rent canoes there.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at Adventure Bound Camping Resort, and I must say it was one of the worst camping trips I've ever had. Everything about this campsite was a disappointment, from the facilities to the staff and overall atmosphere. Here are some reasons why I strongly advise against visiting this place:Filthy Facilities: The washrooms and showers were absolutely disgusting. They were poorly maintained, with grime and mold covering the walls and floors. The water was freezing almost every time I stepped into the shower, which almost put me into shock. While I was showering in one of the showers, I had cockroaches and spiders crawling up my leg which left me flabbergasted, considering the website had provided information about the facilities being cleaned everyday.Unhelpful Staff: The staff at Adventure Bound Camping Resort displayed a complete lack of professionalism and were uninterested in providing any assistance. They were rude, dismissive, and seemed annoyed when asked simple questions about the campsite or nearby attractions. It felt like they didn't care about the guests' experience at all. On our first day there, we had a water leaking issue, but as much as we thought the campsite and employees were reliable, they began to disappoint us with their lack of assistance. I had also lost my phone during the time at the campsite and was disappointed when hearing the employees giving racial comments and not helping while my family and I were clearly in distress.Noisy and Unruly Campers: The atmosphere at Adventure Bound Camping Resort was far from peaceful. The noise levels were intolerable, with campers playing loud music late into the night and disregarding the tranquility that one expects from a campsite. The lack of enforcement by the staff only made matters worse. Some of the parents could not keep their children under control, which led to the experience feeling terrible.Misleading Advertising: The campsite's website and brochures presented a picturesque and serene setting, but the reality was far from it. The campground was cramped, with barely any privacy between the campsites. The only enjoyable part that I had was the volleyball court and even at that, there were still some difficulties that me and other members of the campsite had to deal with. For example, we had to deal with kids coming and pulling down the net, which lowered the overall height of the net. Another problem we had to deal with was having to get the ball. The camp clearly had no thoughts or intentions of putting up a fence around the volleyball court, even though it would have been much more beneficial for the players and the members.Overall, my stay at Adventure Bound Camping Resort was a complete disaster. The lack of cleanliness, unhelpful staff, and noisy atmosphere ruined any chance of enjoying the camping experience. I strongly advise potential campers to steer clear of this place and explore other options that value customer satisfaction. Adventure Bound Camping Resort should seriously reconsider its management and invest in significant improvements(especially to the volleyball courts) if it wishes to retain any visitors in the future.

I have been camping here for over 20 years now. It used to be Yogi Bear Jellystone Park until it changed over to Adventure Bound. The only thing they changed is instead of a hayride with Yogi Bear they now do a small 5 minute train ride. Also they got rid of mini golf and added one large inflatable water slide and one smaller bounce house that has a small water slide connected to it for the smaller children. They do have candy bar bingo which is great because that is something that they had 20 years ago and have been doing still ever since. However, it used to be a good hour to 2 hours long and this time it was about 45 minutes tops. It was extremely rushed. They do have pedal carts that you can rent for a half an hour at a time but they are extremely hard to use. They have the most pitiful arcade I've ever seen. It looks like it hasn't been updated in 20 years. With the amount of money the campground makes you would think they would update it. There weren't even five machines that worked. So you really couldn't even consider it an arcade. They have two pools, one is a kiddie pool and one is just a regular pool that goes from 3 ft to 5 feet. However when it's busy the teenage children make the pool very unfun to be in. There is also a small hot tub but when we were there the teenagers were so bad they got it shut down.Rooms: Many options to choose from. You can rent cabins of all different sizes, you can rent a little mobile home type things, you can rent RVs.Noteworthy details: This is a campground that is definitely based on children fun. If you do not have children and you are adults, this is not the place for you. There are always children walking around or riding bikes or skateboarding or riding scooters. Everything they have to do is for children of all ages.

I probably would have given them five stars because of the facilities and the rest of the staff and how friendly they were. But the old dude who is in charge, whether he's the owner or the main manager, needs to chill the FK out. He literally is ruining the camping experience for most of the people there, especially the kids.He drives around in his little cart yelling at everyone if they're not obeying the rules to the absolute letter. And one of the rules is that the kids have to be back in their camp sites by 10 p.m. (dumb rule)... So he literally waits by the volleyball courts and other areas and at ten pm and two seconds yells at all the kids to go back to their campsites. And then, after I spent $160 to rent a golf cart for 2 days, he pulled up next to me and screamed at me that I needed to "stay on the road! " All I did was drive across three feet of grass.People are here to have fun and enjoy their families, not to get yelled at by some guy all weekend long.Ruined it for me and my daughter.Other than that, pool and facilities are nice, but we won't be back.PS - the ladies who worked behind the counter for hours upon hours all weekend were wonderful.PSS - another downside is the snack bar doesn't open until 11 a.m. and they only have two people staffing it. Not enough for the summer.

First time camping at Adventure Bound with my wife's family. I heard a lot of great things about Yogi Bear, the previous owner of this campground, from my wife's family who had camped here for almost every year,. However, it’s totally a disappointment for our family this time with the campground’s new management. Water pipe leakage, dirty and out of service toilet, and the worst of all, rude staff. We had a three nights stay at this campground, and the problem started as soon as we arrived. The water pipe leaked at one of our sites. The staff who stopped by to inquire us who we are was unfriendly and made us felt uncomfortable. The men toilet’s pee-pod was out of order during our whole stay. Toilet/towel paper was on the floor, and one toilet was clogged. And the worst part during our stay, one staff named Francisco was so rude that threatening to send us home. One of our kids lost his phone when he played volleyball, which we later found out that another kid who we don’t know buried the phone under the sand of the volleyball court. We understood that it was past 10pm at the time, and we did try to stay quiet while searching for the lost phone. The one staff who was aware of the situation was helpful and patient while we were searching for the missing phone. Until Francisco arrived to the scene, without trying to find out the situation, screamed at us to get back to our site. We then explained that we are trying to find the phone, and other staff was also at the scene explained him. Francisco was quiet for a couple minute then accused us of not trying to look for the missing phone but playing around on the volley ball court. We were trying to locate the phone by logging in “find my iphone” from another device. We were able to pin point the location, but couldn’t find the phone because it was buried deep in the sand. We again told him that we are trying to locate the phone, but he raised his voice and spoke in a rude manner that we were playing around instead of looking for the missing phone. We argue with him about the situation that he’s giving us a hard time, then he threatened to send us home for the night. One of our kids overheard that he even made racist comment in the background while we were searching for the phone that we should go back to our country. We were shocked and angry that we were treated poorly and disrespectfully. It's my first time camping here and also the last time for me and my family.

I can’t believe the five star reviews!!! Instead of spending money on reviews, maybe you should spend the money on fixing up the filthy campground instead of having it be misrepresented by your website! My family and I booked a two night stay here, and left after one night. After seeing the pool, and “arcade” if thats what you call it, I was so disappointed. The pool was not only tiny but was made out of cement, it had chunks missing from it, the water was filthy, the arcade had a few games half of them didn’t work. People at the camping grounds were up all night partying and screaming. So many nicer options for camping for the money I spent at this place. Do yourself a favor and don’t believe the websites description or pictures, it is very misleading.

Had the absolute best vacation this past week with my friend and our kiddos. What started as a nightmare on our check-in day turned in to one of the most amazing weeks we've had by far. While cranking up the roof on our new- to-us pop up, a piece of the lift system snapped and pulled right out of the wall. We were absolutely devestated and our 3 girls (ages 6, 8, 8) were heartbroken thinking we would need to go home.Arthur from Adventure Bound came to the rescue! The staff was so helpful and they were able to move us in to a cabin for the entire length of our stay. Everyone was super friendly, and any time we saw an employee they made sure to check to see how our week was going.Highlights for our kiddos included - inflatable water slides, gem mining, and the train ride. The also absolutely loved getting to meet Santa for Christmas in July and even revieved a small gift from Santa's sack!We will definitely be returning in the future, hopefully with a worker camper.

This is our 1st year here and pleasantly surprised. We usually camp at Yogi in Glen Ellis. Do not listen to reviews, camping is not supposed to be luxurious. We rented a deluxe cabin and fit us great. The cabins have everything you need: TP, paper towles, sponge, dish soap, Coffee pots, Toaster, cups, bowls, plates, silverware, pot/pans and even a can opener. The owner is so nice and great with the kids, he made the train ride so much fun.We came up with about 30 adults/kids for our family/friends vacation and the staff made everything so easy. The pool, splash pad, hot tub, water slides and playground kept us all busy. The tent and rv sites are smaller than Yogi but every family and kid we interacted with were so friendly it was great to meet new friends. We will be coming back for sure!Rooms: We were a family of 4 with a dog and everyone had own little space to themselves.

Over Memorial Day Weekend, My family and I had the unfortunate opportunity to visit Adventure Bound Camping Resort which we had visited before, and I must say it was a disappointing camping trip overall. From start to finish, the experience fell short of our expectations, and I cannot recommend this place to fellow campers.Firstly, the staff at the camping site were quite unwelcoming and unhelpful. They seemed disinterested in providing any assistance or answering questions. Their lack of customer service skills was evident, leaving me feeling neglected and unimportant as a guest. One specific incident left me and my family angry and dissatisfied with the staff who worked here. One of my family members had lost their phone, and we were all trying to help find their phone. The staff worker named Francisco decided to start yelling at us, not understanding that we knew where the phone was. He decided to sit on his golf cart, telling us to stop playing around and to search for the phone, which was exactly what we were doing. In addition, I was told that there were racist remarks made by Francisco, where he told some of my family members to "go back to their country" and that our language was "lame". As someone who comes from Vietnam, I was deeply hurt by these comments made by Francisco.Secondly, the facilities were far from satisfactory. The restrooms were poorly maintained and lacked proper cleanliness. I was appalled by the state of the facilities, as they were not up to basic standards. The showers were barely functional, with weak water pressure and inconsistent temperature control, making it difficult to have a comfortable and refreshing shower. Moreover, the campsite itself left much to be desired. The designated camping areas were not well-maintained, with overgrown vegetation and a general lack of cleanliness. The fire pits were not properly cleared, making it challenging to safely start a fire. It was evident that the campground lacked proper attention and care to ensure an enjoyable camping experience.Furthermore, the price for the camping site was unreasonably high considering the subpar facilities and lack of amenities. I expected better value for the cost, but unfortunately, it did not match up to the price tag. It felt like an unjustified expense for the quality of the experience provided. In conclusion, my visit to Adventure Bound Camping Resort was far from satisfactory. The unwelcoming staff, poorly maintained facilities, and lack of attention to detail made it a disappointing camping trip. I would strongly recommend considering other options for a more enjoyable and fulfilling camping experience.

This was our second year coming to Adventure Bound Campground and the kids are already asking when they can go back!Cabins: We stayed in a Deluxe cabin (sleeps 8!). The two bunk beds were perfect. Used the top 2 bunks for suitcases and the bottom for sleeping. There’s a loft with a bed & a bed in the main area. Stove top, full size fridge and everything you need right at your finger tips. The cabin was so clean when we arrived. Staff was absolutely AMAZING and incredibly attentive to our every need (which wasn’t much because everything was taken care of!).Activities: The splash park and pool were a HIT! The 36’ water slide did not disappoint! There were activities going on daily & a fun 80’s night theme weekend. The DJ played the best mix of 80’s music and had everyone dancing at the pavilion and on their decks while they relaxed or cooked dinner.Train Rides: My two boys who are 4 and 10 woke up early every single morning to catch the 9:00 am train. Huge shout out to the conductor/GM of the campground, Arthur! Arthur is AMAZING! The ride lasts about 10-12 minutes and they felt like little celebrities parading through the park. Bonus rides on the weekends at 4:00 were a nice surprise and they took advantage.Staff & Golf Club Rentals: We did not meet a single staff member who didn’t greet us back with a smile or warm welcome. They are some of the hardest working people we’ve ever met. From prompt trash removal multiple times a day, store staff & maintenance, they always waved and were incredibly friendly. I really appreciated the enforcement of quiet hours after a long day in the sun with littles. Safety is top priority there and we felt like we could just relax and not worry about anything. Whether Arthur and his crew were riding the grounds checking in or if you were looking for a recommendation, they never made you feel like you were inconveniencing them.30 minutes from The White Mountains, 20 minutes to Tilton/Laconia and SO much do around you. We will never camp anywhere else in NH!Rooms: Cabins: We stayed in a Deluxe cabin (sleeps 8!). The two bunk beds were perfect. Used the top 2 bunks for suitcases and the bottom for sleeping. This place is enjoyable. I know a lot of people come here and go but the staffs and management is very friendly and will provide you with the best help possible. You can hear people laughing and enjoying theirselves. People have ways to enjoy things. People will say anything to make themselves happy or feel better. If you like quite time through out the night stay home. You can't control how people enjoy their life. You only live once so don't be petty and respect others and live on.Rooms: Bring your tent and tv up.Nearby activities: Other places to visits around the areasSafety: Always about safety.Walkability: Great place to walk around and enjoy.Food & drinks: Great goodNoteworthy details: Train rides for the kids.

After many years of camping at this location, I’m sad to say it was the last time. Since Adventure Bound bought the Jellystone Park it’s going down the hill. No new improvements done since, No new and just a few activities for the kids. Back then they had a schedule with hourly activities for all ages, they kept a few and they do a very sloppy job at it. At the time of our check in I asked to switch our cabin and right way I was told they were sold out, which came to be confirmed not to be truth. There was 4 cabins next to the arcade unoccupied the all time of all stay, never mind all around the park. I asked to buy a bandaids they told me they were sold out again, never offer one from the emergency kit ( if there is one!!!!). Horrible customer service, the store is not presentable and low on everything. So make sure you don’t forget nothing, because like other resorts they are no help. Used to be good and all about family time, but not under the new management, this is not safe for your kids. How you expect to have rocks everywhere including the playgrounds, if a kid gets hut there is no bandaids available.Safety: Not safe, anyone can get in and out. It’s no security gate.
