We have been bringing all of our pets here since we first moved into town. The vet is great and caring, the staff is super friendly and kind. The place is always clean, organized and welcoming. Here comes the but...One thing we honestly don't enjoy is the speed at which they operate. It always takes what seems to be forever to get done and out the door.In addition, their prices have doubled in the past 2-3 years! 😲We all know inflation is bad, but might have to shop around to see if we can get better prices elsewhere.

This is the best place to bring an exotic pet. Dr. Hale is in a class of her own when it comes to taking care of my bearded dragon, Falcor. Their prices are reasonable. I recently rescued a chameleon from near death and she needed medical attention after developing an eye infection. I have a dog but had no where to go for an exotic veterinarian. I had my first appointment with Dr Hale and she was so gentle, so caring, despite Basil, my chameleon being aggressive and scared. The help of her and her team helped Basil thrive and she is in the best condition ever. I am so pleased with all the knowledge her and her staff have there and the shenanigans they put up with my moody chameleon! I highly recommend Dr Hale and Greenland Veterinary Hospital, Gabby the vet tech is also one of Basil's favorites!! The best for exotics hands down!!

I will always take my birds here from now on. We have a barred parakeet that we rescued. He is not hand tamed and fully flighted. The vets took great care of him. They trimmed his nails and helped us choose a treatment plan that would help him get better. They were extremely understanding about him not being tamed and were still happy to work with him. I'm so glad we found an avian vet that does not require driving to Boston!

Words cannot express how grateful I am to have found Greenland Veterinary Hospital. I am a long-time animal owner, from dogs and cats to exotics such as birds, rabbits, rodents, marsupials and reptiles. I am also a retired zookeeper. One of my current pets is a rescued Amazon parrot with special needs. Another is a rescued Lionhead rabbit who came to the shelter in rough condition and needed extensive specialized veterinary care. It is difficult to find vets who treat exotics, let alone excellent ones.Without a doubt, Dr. Elizabeth Hale is the absolute best veterinarian I have had the pleasure of using in my 68 years of pet ownership and animal care. She is incredibly knowledgeable in all aspects of virtually every type of animal, from their daily needs to possible diseases and issues. She is caring and compassionate with both the pet parent and the animal she is assessing. I have seen her contort herself to examine animals in ways that are the most comfortable and least stressful for the animal. She works slowly and gently to keep the animal as much at ease as possible. She will go to any length to find out what is causing a problem, and offers solutions that work. When my blind, 17-year-old leopard gecko had to be euthanized, Dr. Hale was so empathetic and kind, and explained the process she would use that would be painless and peaceful for him. When he was gone, a vet tech brought him to me in my car and gave me a hug.The entire staff is incredibly caring, compassionate and patient. They never make me feel rushed or feel as if I am interrupting something more important. They listen to any concerns, ask questions, and walk me through any procedures I need to be aware of. There are always follow-up phone calls or emails after appointments to ensure all is well with my animals.In a time when veterinarians and veterinary staff are in short supply and facing insurmountable stress, I want to let the entire Greenland Veterinary Hospital staff know they are truly appreciated by those of us who depend on them. Their knowledge, skill, positive attitudes, warmth, kindness and compassion are incomparable. I very highly recommend them to any pet owner.

Overall unimpressed with our experience. The staff were generally friendly, but the facilities were very limited; the vet only ever recommended the same three things for our guinea pigs regardless of what we brought them in for; and when we needed a referral to a specialist, no one was able or willing to assist. We had to call around and make our own appointments, ultimately finding a specialist who wholly disagreed with the advice we received here.If you need anything more than the barest checkup for an exotic, go elsewhere.

Amazing staff and an amazing place to take your pets, I have struggled to find a exotic vet and my bunny is a emotional support animal so I wanted to make sure he was healthy before I bought him to college. Ever since the first call to make the appointment the staff was so sweet and nice. Any questions I asked were answered! When I called to check on him I was nervous to bother the staff but she assured me he was doing great. As a bunny owner I know how stressed my little guy gets but when I picked him up there was most definitely not a stressed bone in his body, I can tell they truly care about any animal that walks through their door. Thank you all so much for taking great care of my little guy!

Dr. Hale and the entire staff at Greenland Vet are the best around! I have been bringing my dogs there for 6 years and the care is exceptional. Everyone from the front desk, to the technicians, to Dr. Hale is an absolute pleasure to work with. They are very knowledgeable and treat your pet as if they are their own. I feel very safe with my dogs under their care.

Decided not to use them. A annual check-up for our rabbit was $90 and I had to pay for it up-front and could only be reimbursed if canceled with 24hrs notice. They also mentioned if I get one exam then it discounts the next 2 exams and a free nail trim. I've never heard of a vet office operating this way, so it's not for me.

Dr. Hale is really amazing! She always gets to the root cause of our pets' problems. One of our cats had some health problems when we adopted him so we have been in quite a few times to get him all sorted out and feeling better. Olivia and Emily and everyone treat him well and are gentle with him because he never makes a fuss about going back and he's cool as a cucumber when we pick him up. We are very grateful to have found this place.

We have been going to Greenland for 3 years. We loved it so much we kept them as our primary vet even when we lived in Boston and Denver. We thought they really cared about our pets.Today my Fiancé went instead of me to bring them for their annual exam. I just booked them for preventative exams and that was it. Without checking in with me they upsold him with language that made extra blood work, medicine, and vaccines sound part of the regular exam and necessary to do.I’m very disappointed to say that they got him to spend $600 thinking that’s what I asked for. I really loved this vet, and I don’t mind having extras done to protect my pets, but this just does not sound like they were acting out of genuine care and integrity.I’m very disappointed and decided to switch to a new vet that’s closer and will not take advantage of us. I do recommend the care here, I don’t recommend their practices.

I absolutely love Greeland veterinary Hospital. I was lucky enough to find them two years ago. They saved my baby Bearded Dragon and he is a two year old thriving adult now. Each time I take him in they are so kind and understanding and very helpful. Dr. Hale is so wonderful, very calm and gentle with all of my animals (cats and mice). The whole staff is so welcoming and lovely and I’ve never seen any veterinary office so excited to see my pets!In addition, the facilities are modern and clean and the online scheduling is extremely convenient. The points/rewards system is definitely worth enrolling in. Love it here!

I absolutely love this vet. They have multiple locations, and I just happened to have used one of them when I lived in another area and they were just as amazing. I didn't even realize they were the same until recently, but I wasn't surprised due to the quality! I brought my rats to the Canobie Lake Veterinary hospital and had the best and most thorough care. At Greenland, I received the same service. They were very kind, knew their stuff, and there was no pressure to make unnecessary purchases. I 100% recommend this to anyone looking for great care for their animals.

Dr. Hale is amazing!! I had taken my bunny to a different vet and they had told me the lump on his nose is cancer and inoperable and I just had to wait it out until he was in too much pain and put him down. I had also asked questions and had not gotten any answers back. I didn’t fell right with that answer so I took him in for a second opinion at Greenland Veterinary with Dr. Hale. She was so amazing she answered all my questions and explained everything that they were doing. She was so knowledgeable with everything! She started him on a treatment and the lump is gone! It was just a disease that he had gotten. Fast forward months later and the lump is nowhere to be found and he’s happy as ever! I’m so grateful! I just recently moved a little over 2 hours from Greenland Veterinary, but if anything happens again or just for a checkup I will definitely be making the drive down to Greenland every time!

Katie and Dr. Hale did amazing with my nervous dog. Dr. Hale was able to neuter him without having to make additional incisions (only one testicle descended) and his surgical site was barely noticeable. Friendly staff.

I absolutely love this place! I have two cats and a dog that all recieve care here. I was referred to these guys about two years ago and could not be happier. Everyone is so friendly and knowledgeable. The facility is spotless and all my animals love the staff. Even my dog who had a traumatic experience somewhere else though reluctant about the treatment area loves the rest of the building and staff. I would 100% reccomend to anyone and everyone looking for quality vet care.

I have been going to Greenland Vet for 3 years with my Severe Maccaw. I have been to other vets when I had a dog and 3 cats who were OK, but Greenland Vet is the best. They are all very caring, friendly and sensitive to my birds needs. She loves going there and sometimes I believe she doesn't want to leave. I have seen some negative reviews, but don't believe for one minute what they wrote.

The care is great and the staff is super friendly. The place is clean and offers great nice touches. There's a lot to love, but...The vets here are super-aggressive when it comes to recommending treatment. The treatments are expensive, even with their complicated points/rewards plan. You have to hold your ground if you dont want to bankrupt yourself treating Fluffy's sniffles. Its an awkward and frustrating position to be in.
