The owners are as nice as can be. The food is fantastic! It's our 3x a week go to in the summer with the grandchildren. Or a sweet in the middle meeting spot with our adult kids. Hands down the best establishment to hit out area in 15 years.

Great ice cream! What a gem to find right down the road from camp! Loved the "dirty water" hot fudge sundae! The kids had the Loki special! Go try it!

The Shack is a hidden gem. The service and scenery are simply amazing not to mention the fresh homemade food. Always made to order with lots of delicious options from their food to their array of ice cream flavors, you can’t go wrong. Great stop for any time of the year!!

I thought they were only open in the winter so I could ride my snowmobile to their snack shack. Boy I'm glad that I was wrong. I will be a regular in the summer now also. Good portions, good prices.

What a amazing place....The food was delicious, the workers were very pleasant, and the sitting area's are priceless !!! I could sit in the river to cool off or next to the fire to warm up !!!!Can't wait to stop by next time I'm in the area.

This was the best quick bite to eat I've gotten in a long time! We were in Claremont prepping for a wedding and needed a breather and a bite to eat, a quick 20 minute trip brought us to this lovely little outdoor oasis these folks created on their property. It is a small limited menu, but everything we tried was perfectly cooked and delicious! Corn chowder, sliders (I had mine with the jalapeno sauce) and poutine all fantastic!

This is a small place with 3 large outdoor tables just outside the food window + more seating by a nearby rivulet. Nice folks and well prepared fast food + ice cream options.Yes, its open in the winter, leastways it was on a cold March Sunday. This place is in a beautiful forested rural setting.I gave it a 5* rating because it beats comparable mom & pop shops hands down and it has a pretty good selection of food items to purchase.

Wonderful, charming place with great food and friendly folks. Lots of outdoor seating including chairs and benches along the bank of a small river. Rustic, idyllic. Don't miss it if you're in the area. Clearly a labor of love for the owners.

This place is an absolute gem nestled in the hills of Goshen. Karyn and Troy are super friendly, and the surroundings here are beautiful. Karyn is a top level chief and always has different amazing foods to try. My kid loves coming here for their yummy ice cream (his favorite is dinosaur crunch) and they always go out of their way to make him feel special. Also they are open year round, and located right on the snowmobile trail. Perfect place to stop to warm up and get some delicious warm food to keep you going out on the trails. If you live in one of the surrounding towns and haven't been here yet, your missing out! 😎

The seating area was unique. There's a short path to a small creek with chairs in the water. The kids enjoyed the ice cream, too. We'll definitely come back to try the food.

Awesome sliders and ice cream. Beautiful spot to sit and enjoy the seating in the stream on the hot days or enjoy the outdoor fire on the cool nights. Can't wait to try and find the trail to visit by snowmobile this winter.
