We called because our cat was deathly sick and (it was an emergency btw) and they said “they couldn’t take any new patients.” We weren’t asking for a check up, we needed a vet and they said no. You’re a vet hospital, how can’t you take in a pet for an emergency? Luckily we found another vet in Littleton that took us in but I wouldn’t go here knowing that they have no problem turning away peoples pets, especially if you’re not one of their “regular clients.” What’s the point of being a vet hospital if you’re not going to take in new clients? I guess they don’t want money or pets to keep continuing their business! Also we live right down the hill from them, so it was super inconvenient that we had to drive an extra few towns over to get our cat to see someone, simply because they “couldn’t take any new patients.” So out of curiosity I wonder what other pet owners are supposed to do in emergencies where it’s life or death for their pet if they can’t take in “new patients.” Would that be the same thing if it was a regular hospital for humans? Nope!

Always friendly and helpful. They are very attentive and get back to you with test results quickly with their recommendations if there are any to be made. I've been here with all my kitties and have always been 100% satisfied..

Dr Stewart is awesome as is Jen the receptionist . I don't know the techs name. They were all patient dealing w my dogs stress , answered all my questions. I was not rushed, and everyone was positive. I like the fact my dogs comfort was paramount in everything that was done, and I was given good information to help her at home. They are awesome and even have some Saturday appointments

They make my puppy feel loved and comfortable when we go there. She gives them all kisses exuberantly each time we go in. She's never scared even after getting big pokes. Routine care is much more expensive up here than it was 100 miles south, but as long as you know what you want, they'll vibe on that energy and you'll be fine. (it's worth it tho, cuz they've been awesome with us.)

Never go there. We were regulars with our three dogs. One was ill with a burst tumor, we found out after, they turned us away saying too busy. We had to drive 45 minutes to the next vet. Our girl had to be put down and suffered the extra 45 minutes needlessly.

Brought my cat here. All is good here, there staff are curteous, and the vets are great. I really have no criticism beyond the price, which I'm sure is standard, it's just a shock when you see a big vet bill.

We called on 7-31-2018, asking for an appointment because our dog was gravely ill. The receptionist said they didn't have any appointments available. I hung up and then called back and asked about emergency services explaining we are from another state and our dog was very ill. They said since we are not one of their regular clients and they were booked up they couldn't see our dog. No compassion at all!!! As it turned out we had to drive 40 miles over the mountain to Frysburg Maine to have her treated. That Veterinary hospital was very busy also, but took the time to treat our gravely ill dog which turned out to be a tick born disease. Our dogs temp was 106.3. The Veterinary Hospital in Frysburg, Maine was very compassionate and caring. If you ever have an emergency BEWARE of North County Animal Hospital! It was very disheartening to be told by North County Animal Hospital that they were too busy to see our dog. Thank God we were able to find Frysburg Veterinary Hospital, otherwise our dog would have died. BEWARE!!!

500 dollars for an exam on a 17 year old dying cat???really!!!!??? we just wanted him out of pain and at peace!!!! this Vetrinary Hospital is not for the pets or their owners!!! money isn't every thing but to North Country Animal Hospital

They are way too expensive. I find expensive veterinarians like that they only care about the wallet and not the animal.years ago they helped out my kitty cat and then they decided they weren't going to treat her and help her anymore. Now she died. We go to Lancaster veterinarian and see Dr. Anderson.
