Spent a snowy Sunday afternoon at the Gilmanton Winery for a wine tasting. This place is very quaint. We each tasted 6 of their wines. They have wines from very dry to very sweet. We also ordered a lovely charcuterie board. The service was excellent, the wines were tasty and the atmosphere was cozy. We left with a bottle as well. If you're feeling a little cooped up, head over and relax for a bit!

Absolutely wonderful! The atmosphere and divine service are worth the trip. It'll be a treat if you like sweet wine and are not partial to traditional old-world flavors. Outdoor seating was appreciated because we brought our pup. I wish I hadn't been so full so I could've eaten all of the delicious goat cheese snack

Visited Gilmanton Winery while on my bachelorette trip this past weekend. We were greeted by Major, the resident winery dog, who helped show us to our seats. The employees called us their “guests” rather than customers and we truly did feel like guests. Service was quick and all employees were so kind. When deciding to stay for another glass of wine or visit another place in the area, our server spoke highly of another winery a few towns over as well as other shops and things to do nearby instead of trying to convince us to stay and spend more money. Overall a great experience - oh and the wines and snacks were delicious too!

Visiting from CT and my son and daughter in law wanted to take me to a new winery …….what a treat! The new owners are amazing and the previous owners were awesome too! The wine was delish and the bruschetta was the best I have ever had! Can’t wait to go back!Sue Close- East Hampton CT

A must visit! Going to Gilmanton Winery feels like going to a dear friends house. From the moment we walked in we had a lovely experience-we felt like special guests.We had a flight of delicious wines and a beautiful boards of yummy cheeses, nuts, fruits-the cranberry cheese with the wine 🤩The bonus was being able to feed the goats fresh grape leaves. We entered the pen and everyone came running over, including a sweet pig that wanted to tell you about their day.A perfect way to spend my birthday-thank you

The Chief Vintner (and owner) Marshall is an amazing host! He gave us a personal tour of this heavenly place.. Great wines for tasting as well..(Girls night out and Jack the Ripper are excellent choices).. We had the luxury of a Farmers Breakfast brunch on Sunday and it was awesome! Highly recommend this place if you are in the area!

I had never been to a winery or a wine tasting before this place! My sister, cousin and I went here on Saturday. We had the place to ourselves most of the time. The atmosphere is so cozy and welcoming! The two ladies that got us situated and brought our samples were phenomenal! We stayed well after we were finished trying wine just chit chatting and relaxing. We didn't feel rushed or anything. The ladies would check in every so often and make sure we were okay and didn't need anything but never made us feel pressured. I highly recommend this place and hope to go back this summer and see the beautiful grounds!

My best friend lives in Gilmanton and we visited the winery while I was there. Very cozy environment, makes you feel right at home. All of the decor is very rustic and historical which adds to the coziness and home like feel of the winery. The wines were all delicious. We each tried six types of wine which was $9 a piece. We also ordered a traditional cheese tray which came with grape syrup and crackers and was absolutely delicious. I bought two bottles of wine also. Everything was wonderful and reasonably priced. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable and the owners were extremely welcoming and friendly. We will definitely be coming back next time I’m in town!

This place is amazingly quaint and cozy! You get the definite "Cheers" vibe, but with breakfast! The owners come out and introduce themselves and you want them to sit and regale you of tales from yesteryear. He is a vet and his wife was an airline stewardess. The tales they must have! And the food is very good. Ask for seconds if you have the space! Definitely a place I would return to if I am in the area

Such a rustic cozy feel! Never had brunch at a winery before, but more should do this, it’s a great idea! Ate everything too fast to take pictures, but I included a photo of the menu to help.Our party of 5 ordered the set Brunch Menu which included 5 courses: Fruit plate, fried dough, French toast, scrambled eggs/home fries/bacon, and lastly berry cobbler for dessert. Each course comes out one at a time, and is served family style.Once you’ve finished the 4th course you can ask for more! I like how thoughtful that rule is, prevents you from wasting food or over indulging. Really delicious food, definitely recommend it!There is also a tiny gift shop at the front of the store.

I come here at least twice a year. It's very quiet, and the grounds to walk around on are very beautiful. The wine is great and they have a small menu to eat from.

Came here with friends to celebrate my birthday. This place exceeded all expectations. We had a private room in the back, such nice ambiance! Amazing and unique wine selection, hospitable and fun staff, good vibes all around. Will forever remember the goat in the t-shirt. 100% recommend

An intimate spot featuring a good variety of creative wines from dry ones to sweet ones. When we went, my husband and I got to have the tasting room all to ourselves which was great! Our favorite was Tie the Knot; a perfect balance of sweet and tartness - we even had an extra glass of it. We'd definitely go back!

Gilmanton winery is always a great place to start the day with their amazing brunch. After brunch we did a wine tasting. The staff is very hospitable and they treat you like family. This is always a great stop.

We had a wonderful day at the Gilmanton Winery. It was a full day experience for us starting with a 5 course brunch, then meeting their goats and bunnies and ending with wine tasting. The owner was very present throughout our day and was so positive in pleasant. Loved the staff, food, wine and scenery. We will be back!

Loved this really cute place. Great for a day out with friends or partner. The wines were amazing and we really liked Girl's Night Out. The service was also pretty amazing. We definitely would love to go back sometime when the weather is good and have a tour of the vineyard and all.

Very friendly staff, yummy brunch and lots of cute animals to boot! Got the brunch for the two of us and it was around $50 which is great for the amount of food we got! Favorite was definitely the fried dough! Will come back again for Olive the Pig 🐷

Charming winery with indoor or outdoor areas to taste their fine wine. We chose outside on the veranda, under cover from the sun with a nice breeze. Wine was very tasty and you can order by the flight or by the bootle. Nice setting on a back road very rural area. There is some food available as well. This was our second time there and yes it will be on our list for a visit next year. Very enjoyable place and the staff were very friendly.

Went to the sunday brunch , the staff make you feel at home and the ambiance is magical, I can't forget to mention the food was great as well! Looking forward to coming back and bringing more of my friends and family so that they can expiernce Gilmanton themselves. Also don't forget to check out the plethora of animals they have on-site

What a wonderful place! The atmosphere is very cozy and quaint. The owners are incredibly friendly and pleasure to interact with. The wine was amazing, each and every glass of the flight! Very unique and crisp flavors! The presentation of the wine, each in unique glass, and board with cheese, meat, fruit, nuts!They also have a delicious brunch menu on sundays that we hope to try next time. They owners (Marshall and Sunny) are very very friendly and very knowledgeable. You have the ability to choose to taste all of their great options (some of which are seasonal in nature). Such a great vibe and experience. They also occasionally do weddings!

Awesome, relaxing winery. Owner and servers were so friendly. We tried all 9 wines and had cheese and crackers along with the tasting. We loved and bought 4 of the wines. Will definitely go back again and have lunch and wine, while relaxing on the porch.
