Born and raised in Newport New Hampshire but we are visiting from Nashville Tennessee. We haven’t been here since 16 years ago. This place has a wonderful vibe! I love the modern/farmhouse look. The food was excellent! I ate the sausage breakfast sandwich and it was really good. Service is wonderful, and always with a smile. It’s not your typical mom and pop breakfast club, but for sure will not be disappointed.

Great place to eat and relax. Very kid friendly ! Chef Isaiah is amazing at his craft. His wife is very sweet and she always takes my order when I go there. The ice cream is good but my favorite is their breakfast options. Ps they do accommodate gluten free options if needed. Go do yourself a favor and try it for yourself you will not be disappointed 😊.Dietary restrictions: They accommodate gluten freeKid-friendliness: Lots of games for kiddos to play they have books and also a chalk wall for kiddos to doodle.

The people working there were super nice! My kids loved their lunch and the environment was great. There were toys for children, to keep them busy if you had to... but it still looked classy. We will be back

Hands down best food in the lakes region. All of the food is delicious and elevated from the norm. Love the family friendly atmosphere that Chef Isaiah and Corinne have created. If you’re looking for a good place to enjoy fresh food , made from scratch. This place has it . Not your typical diner where the foodIs tasteless and traditional breakfast. Great environment . The owners are amazing. food is top notch and fresh . ThankYou for opening a restaurant that is above the bare minimum standard . It’s refreshing to finally enjoy a decent breakfast. Good luck to legacy and their growth .

Cafe/Restaurant - menu is excellent (very casual, lots of easy order to go options), great flavor profiles, great value for money spent. They even had a pay it forward walk, genius! Only suggestion would be a dimmer switch for the cafe lights as it’s extremely bright insideCatering - wow. We decided to have our Christmas meal catered and could not have been more impressed. It was so well prepared, and the cooking/heating instructions were done to a tee. You could taste the homemade TLC they put into their food. Communication with Corinne was spot on, she’s super responsive. Highly recommend, and already considering the next event I can have catered by them.

Amazing food! Gorgeous setting, great owners who really take pride in what they do. This place has some of the best food in the region, hands down. While it is tucked away in the Paugus Village plaza, it is a hidden gem. But once you find it, you’ll keep coming back for more. This place would be packed all day, everyday it were in a more visible location for sure. I frequent it weekly and have never been disappointed, even when I stray from my usual order. This place needs to be on everyone’s radar. Get down there, seriously!

Definitely one of the best places I've ever eaten at! The chef puts his heart into every meal and there's definitely a difference in quality when someone that loves what he's doing prepares a meal for you!The hostess is extremely friendly and always makes sure that you get what you're looking for.The restaurant itself is beautiful and extremely comfortable. It's an excellent place to bring your laptop too and get some work done while you enjoy a coffee and a meal.Even their beautiful kids do their part and you can see and feel the love at this beautiful family run restaurant!Highly recommend to anyone and everyone!

Amazing food and great atmosphere, really comfortable chairs. Family owned and operated, I got the chance to speak with the hostess and chef so that I could plan catering for a Thanksgiving party and they were extremely kind and thorough. They made sure every detail was taken care of and the food was delicious. The Taste of Legacy is one of my favorite spots to eat and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal and/or catering services

To be honest Im a little upset i didnt know about this place sooner. I live down the road year round and didnt know this place or the other businesses here were tucked away.I had the Goat cheese burrito and it was amazing, would definitely recommend trying this place out. Service was excellent as well, super friendly and helpful.I hope the building owners place more advertising and bring the inside styling to the outside so this place can flourish

Hats off to the Taste of Legacy team. The unassuming exterior opens up to a quaint cafe with some of the best food I’ve enjoyed in the Lakes Region. I purchased a breakfast burrito because I can’t pass one up, and was supremely impressed by the size and flavor profile of said burrito. The staff make you feel like family and the delicious home style cooking does too. Be sure to circle this spot as a tourist, vacationer, or local. You’ll be supporting a business that’s helping this area thrive through quality service and food.

We tried the sausage breakfast sandwich, French toast plate & goat cheese burrito along with some caffeinated drinks. Everything was delicious!Parking: The parking lot is big once you know you’re in the right place but they def need better signage out front. It’s in the village and we parked out back by laundry mat.Kid-friendliness: Great spot for kids. Very spacious, have multiple high chairs to make life easier & even toys to keep them entertained while they wait.
