My experience is I was searching for my lady who was gone over an hour she was only going to buy aluminum foil for a cooking fire so I Google searched where's my phone it showed my phone at Shaw's 47 minutes ago that means dead battery I called Andrea at customer service at Shaw's told her my story and she said would you mind waiting on hold cuz I have to find out if it's okay for me to do this in today's day and age with lots of bad people out there me not being one of them I say you do whatever you can do I appreciate that you're trying I understand what you're doing she pulled me on hold 10 seconds later phone gets back on Andrea telling me she had someone for me she didn't have to pay her my lady was at the self checkout heard her asking someone what to do in inquired to who's on the phone with her was it a guy named Scott Andrea thanks a lot I appreciate you being there I appreciate your candidness I hope you have a great rest of your weekend Shaw's has a great employee in you you're at the right job unless you want to be a doctor then you're working your way there anyways five stars this experience was a miracle

Stayed in Laconia for 4 days and this was my go to place to get good groceries for ourselves and our toddler! Had so many options aana variety of sections.

Lol What's going on with the Garlic bread?Update, this is the first time trying the Garlic bread again... Still trash and you can see the finger marks from the "baker" slipping it on one side lol.

Being a employee at gilford shaws I don’t recommend shopping here because the managers and staff their treat other employees including me like trash also they are very very rude to employees and customers don’t recommend

I remember having such a bad experience here. The store is just negative. The store manager and her boss are both just awful. Needs new management desperately. You need new upper management sending this to the store director does nothing she's the problem.

Overall their prices are average. However if you join their rewards program and watch the sales and promotions you can do alright. They did have some items I can't get anywhere else. Unfortunately, since the pandemic, the selection in stores isn't as good and supplies are sometimes very limited. Empty shelves and or limited selection of items was the biggest disappointment, besides questionable freshness of products. I went to get some ice cream and when I took one out, it had several inches of frost/ice (EXTREMELY FREZZER BURNT) , which was disappointing. So I proceeded to get another from the freezer and literally every single container looked that way. Needless to say I didn't get any ice cream. I highly suggest when shopping anywhere, that you pay close attention to dates, appearance, and quality.

This store is very clean and organized. The selection of fresh fruit and vegetables is really great...I just moved here from Utah and usually go to Smith's/Kroger there and this place is a lot like it...Some of the prices are a bit high,like milk,cheese among others...bit overall it's a good place to go for groceries.

I'm a creature of habit have stopped at Shaws forever, they always have what I need, employee's are always friendly, and prices are competitive. I don't think I would be comfortable shopping anywhere else.

Expensive but watch for there deals in the paper or online.every once in a while its worth stopping in for a buy one get one deal but go to hannafords 1/4 the price with out having to use your loyalty card.

I recently ordered 2 party platters from the deli and accidentally put in the wrong date but Kassie in the deli was amazing! She totally accommodated me and made the platters I needed right then. They came out so nice and tasted delicious!

Good deals but you don't get your app coupons to work unless you scan the app qr code even if your phone number you use at the register matches up with the app, super frustrating

Shaw's overall it is a very good chain this particular store is clean will stock but it just seems so disjointed I really have a hard time shopping in it and finding the things that I'm looking for nothing to do with the Personnel they're wonderful as well but I just find it so doesn't seem to flow as easily as even the other shots in the area does which is a much older place but equally clean and so far it was fairly well-stocked of though I don't know how long stores in this area are going to be able to do that one of our local stores up by us bare shelves in and all and so far shows doesn't seem to have that issue

this italian girl at the help center Brianna Costa was very nice and helped me find the produce section. I was very grateful to have found such a beam in my day. Very fine young lady i hope she gets more of the praise she deserves. She walked me around and I found my dozen apples and some frozen lasagna in the frozen section. What a nice lady. Good job if you ever see this

Best grocery store to shop at in this area.The store is always clean. The employees are very polite. The floral department is beautiful. The produce is always fresh. I enjoy shopping here.

The store was clean and the prices were not overly expensive. Used their self check out and it was one that shouts at you and you have to make sure it reads the weight of the item you just scanned in the bagging area before you can continue with your next item. Makes it a very slow check out experience.

This is a great example and gold standard of what a clean, efficiently managed, friendly supermarket should look like. As always, faced with staffing issues, the Gilford Shaws is always clean, neat, organized and the staff pleasant and friendly. Great place to shop

Self check out very frustrating. Tiny area fir bagged groceries, so need to transfer to cart. Every time this was done it triggered an assistance light. Took at least an extra 15 minutes to check out process. Felt bad for employee, although she said it was job security for her. I will not be shopping here again

Very friendly employees, we stay in Laconia a few times a year and this is our go-to store. Baked goods are fresh, produce is really good as well. We don't mind paying a little more to avoid the craziness at Wal-Mart.

I don't drive and my neighbor takes me shopping where I want to go and she likes shaw's and I like the sales they have. I would like to see some utz barbecue chips! Not honey bbq just bbq!!! I love them but I can't find them.

Not from immediate area, but stopped by for some fresh fruit after a car inspection. Great prices on HoneyCrisp apples. Helpful checkout person even set me up with a small discount.

Was a Stop and Shop loyal shopper for years. It has changed so much. Had a bad experience with a cashier. Quality has gone way down on there produce. Need I say more Started shopping at Shaws. Don't know why I didn't make the change along time ago. 100% better. Love it.

We went in for ground beef, fried chicken and potato salad. It was just before 8pm... The ground beef section was bare (large package). The man cleaning up the deli told us there were no more packages out back and to take a few of the smaller packages and they would adjust the price at the register. We then went to get some fried chicken... The man behind the deli told us we couldn't have any because he had shut the heat off half an hour before and it wouldn't be safe to eat at that point and he couldn't sell it to us. Then off to the deli for potato salad... Their wasn't even anyone to help us. Needless to say, I don't normally shop at shaws! Over-priced and I can never get what I am shopping for!!

Love the store and it is very convenient for us but we rarely get the store circular in our mailbox here in Moultonborough before the sale starts. It seems as if all of our neighbors have the same problem. Shaw's insists they are being sent out on time and the Post office insists they aren't getting them on time. This has been going on for years. Shaw's must be paying for this but if we only get the circular after the sale is over they are throwing out there money.

5 star based on cleanliness of the store and the staff being friendly and helpful. Just visiting my 3 sisters who have just moved here recently and found the prices are reasonable and competitive. It was a pleasure to shop here
