I live here year round & love shopping here. They have lots to choose from especially with their organic food selection. Their produce is fresh & healthy. The store is super clean & bright. Everyone is friendly & helpful.

General store manager is horrible and disrespectful, his name is Joel something! I go there almost everyday to buy lunch and have never had an issue until today. Me and a friend went to buy lunch and decided to try out the hot wing bar they have, well upon cashing out I had the store manager Joel run up and start screaming at me. He was so red in the face and screaming so much I legit couldn’t understand half of what he was saying. Something about making sure I weigh my food, which I did and even did a second time to make sure the price was correct. I have heard horrible things about him from other people and wasnt sure what to believe until today. I hope no one else has to deal with what I delt with! Super embarrassing and so unprofessional.

After my son was hired at Hannaford in Gilford I have come to realize how amazing this store is! They treat the employee with respect, rewarding them when they go abouve and beyond. Recongnising when he tries hard. O thought he was getting a job to learn how rough the work world can be and instead they are like his second family. The food is also extremely fresh. I have been to the box store down the street and told them they had moldy food on shelves and they would just put it back! Hannaford keeps everything fresh.

I thought the store was excellent BUT their Sushi is the worst I've ever had. The tuna roll was the smallest I ever had. The rice was horrible dry and hard. I've never experienced rice like this anywhere.

With pricing increasing everywhere, I decided to try the Hannaford brand strawberry ice cream. I was pleased to fund that they were looking out for my safety. They have made sure you won't choke on a strawberry " There aren't any"

They have a male employee who dresses as A LITTLE GIRL. We specifically do not shop here for that reason. They may find it trendy to cater to that but for myself and the majority healthy parents, I will not expose my child to it.

There is always a large variety of fresh baked breads and the small hot food bar has pretty good buffalo chicken. That being said it's a very pleasant place to shop even if it is a little more expensive than Walmart.

I've never had a bad experience shopping at Hannaford. I've been eating food from Hannaford nearly every day of my 47 years. My father worked for Welbys, which was a drugstore started by Hannaford Brothers. Best grocery store, by far that I have ever been to.

The store appears to be clean. Very very expensive and you never know who works there. The cashiers and baggers are wearing something to distinguish who they are. Most people that I saw who were working had jeans and a sweatshirt or whatever else with a name tag on. Kind of the same as Shaw's Supermarket, but Hannaford is cleaner than Shaw's. I'd rather shop at Market Basket. Their stores appear to be cleaner and have so much better prices. Everyone who works there has a smok over their clothes to let you know they work there. All the men are wearing a white shirt and tie. All the women are dressed very nice as well. They all look very professional and clean.

Freshest selection in town unless you're going straight to the farm stands. Always friendly customer service, and the fresh made food is always so good with a really nice variety to choose from that even the kids like to pick from.

Been disappointed in quality of fresh veggies for quite awhile (since pre-covid) of I buy celery, lettuce tomatoes they don't lay more than a day or two at best. And before you think I don't know how to pick the fruits or veggies , I'm a chef so it's not in the handling or storage on my part. I can go to Market Basket and the same items lady up to 2+ weeks. However I do love their meats and the selections they have

Over all good selection, sometimes some common produce is not available. Some produce is not of the best quality specifically the Green Peppers for the past few months. However, most (90 %) of the produce is exceptional! Loyal customer for 25+ years.

Great fresh fruits and vegetables, but the prices are higher than other stores in the area. Deli meats are expensive. Prices in general are higher, but the store is super clean and the produce is awesome. If prices were more competitive, it would get 5 stars.

The layout is confusing and the staff have been super rude to my boyfriend and I. They have a decent selection of groceries but often times we prefer to just shop at Shaw's across the street or Walmart down the road. We do like the Hannaford brand products so we will stop in every once and a while for those. We just don't like dealing with the attitudes of some of the cashiers.

This store in the Hannaford chain has a great selection of produce, fresh vegetables and fruit, wines and beers. The custom meat counter services are excellent with knowledgeable help about their selections. Definitely a great place to food shop when on vacation.

Tried the To-Go option as I received a $15 OFF $50 or more coupon in the mail. I was impressed with the experience as a whole. The only hiccup was that my transaction receipt which was emailed to me immediately after placing the order showed that because it was my first time utilizing the service the typical service fee of $5 would be waived but when I arrived and gave the gentleman $15 off coupon + $40 cash. I expected him to come out with my groceries and the $1 in change but instead he came back out and told me I still owed $7... I showed him the emailed receipt which clearly showed the total cost (after $15 coupon applied + $5 service fee waived) =$39 he gave a random excuse about why the total actually equaled $46.00 which after meticulously inspecting my physical receipt still doesn't make sense but wasn't worth an argument or waiting any longer then I already had by that point. Over all it was convenient and I would still use the To-Go service again.

Great market. Good prices. Had to change my stars down to 3. Getting rid of plastic bags for environment a good move but at least put handles on your paper bags. Too difficult to carry shopping in now.

Awful, I can't stand the mouthy disrespectful staff and management who hires and supervises them. They have a decent selection, and upkeep the look, but the people are so awful I'd rather just go to BJs or Walmart or Shaw's. Additionally they are RIDICULOUSLY expensive. My friends have a nickname for this place: "mouthy Cant-afford" and that's about right.
