We had an amazing time! We ordered;Cocoa x2Self Serve Coffee x1Steak BurritoVeggie Wrap (No Cheese)Steak Burrito (No Cheese)Firstly, the cocoa was there, ready and red hot by the time we finished deciding! The service was lovely and the food, oh my life! The food was way under-priced imo as the ingredients were fresh, tasty, perfectly mixed and seasoned (which is rare for a veggie wrap) My companions were equally impressed. The ambience was fantastic and it is the perfect, relaxed venue to eat at if you visit Franconia. We'll be back next year!

Should have turned back when I was hit in the face with the smell of old grease walking in the door. Started out with no soap in the restroom, followed by undercooked pancakes that tasted like above mentioned old grease, topped off with a dollar extra charge for additional syrup. One small condiment cup of syrup for two thick pancakes is definitely not enough! Also pancakes for two people one chocolate milk and an orange juice for $33! I would keep driving!

I highly recommend Hungry Bear!Eating now! Omg! This is absolutely fabulous! Portions are great.I went in to order to go. I ordered 4 sandwiches and 2 smoothies. The friendly guy brought out my smoothie and said here ya go, something to sip on while you wait. After all the food was made and packaged he made the 2nd smoothie.Phenomenal service and food!

We came here on one of the mornings of our weekend trip. They were basically out of all their special flavored ice cream when we went. The food was OK, not satisfying. The vibe is very, very casual.

A very nice surprise. We were heading north for a long day trip and just pulled off the highway to find someplace for lunch. We pulled in about 30 minutes before they closed, but they were still friendly and accommodating. The food was very good and very fair portions. We were able to finish up in time, but they didn't seem to mind. You should stop and find out for yourself. Pay attention to their hours. It's the polite thing to do.Parking: Small parking lot, I think, shared with another business but not positive. It worked for me.

Very pricey, $40 for soup, salad, a sandwich, water and milk. Plastic utensils, plastic shower curtains between the booths. A roll of paper towels on the table. Macaroni salad was soupy and tasteless. Broccoli cheese soup hardly had any Broccoli. No tap water, had to buy bottle water. Salad was large ( no small salads) .mostly chopped lettuce with anemic looking vegetables. When the owner ( I presumed) asked how everything was (on our way out) ,we said "okay". He said "Oh, that's not good" but didn't ask how it could be improved. Won't be going back.

Very small cafè. The front counter girl was kinda bland, not friendly looks like she hates her job. Coffee was sooooo goood and you can make it yourself. Food was mediocre not really flavorful at all. Expensive for a small place. We spent over $40 for 2 people.

We originally stopped at polly's pancake parlor, but couldn't wait for 1.5-2 hours for a seat. Glad we came here instead. Tons of choices, food was ready really quickly, and we enjoyed everything. We tried 2 smoothies and 3 breakfast sandwiches, and the owner helped out when the gumball machine didn't work properly. Very pleased with our meal, and will come back again.

Food was very good. Just wish more questions about food allergies could be answered a little better. Didn't have labels for some things.

Had a great “rio grand burrito” here for breakfast. It was difficult to decide what to eat, the menu is so large and everything looks tasty. Quick service and great food!

Honestly not the cleanest dining facility I've visited, the menu was interesting, but the clean factor is not there, the creamer was sour and I was picking food off of the picnic table before sitting down.

Great little place I never knew existed! We hike in Franconia and recently found Hungry Bear by Googling places to eat. Food was fresh and flavorful; atmosphere was fun and welcoming. Would come back with the family.Kid-friendliness: They have a cool basketball game to pass the time while waiting for your food. The kids enjoyed this!

Food is fantastic! Best cheesesteak we've ever had, and we've lived just south of Philadelphia. All the sandwiches we had were exceptionally well made with fresh, quality ingredients.Parking: Parking is at the back of the building, shared lot, a bit tight.

Four of us ate there. We all agreed that a review was necessary. The food was delicious. Western omelette, best ever, for me. Even though busy the owner stopped to chat. Wait staff very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend The Hungry Bear!Parking: Plenty of parking in the lot behind the restaurant.

Several beard hairs in greasy sandwiches, ambiance is janky. Total waste of money, threw away both our plates.

Perfect location, right off the highway on 93 - Exit 38. I stopped there for breakfast with my family and it was great. I had the egg and bacon sandwich on a croissant which was delicious, my daughter had the chocolate chip muffin, it was fresh, soft and very "yummy". I also tried their ice mud slide and it was so good, perfect cold drink for a hot day. They have seats outside.

I gave this place 2 stars because the staff were friendly and helpful. The woman preparing our lunch (chicken bacon ranch and roast beef sanwiches) came over to us and verified our order was correct before making it, which we appreciated. The food was terrible. It wasn't the way anything was cooked or put together. It was the quality of the ingredients. The chicken was just gross. It looked like it came out of a can. It was definitely not fresh grilled chicken. It was the farthest thing from fresh. And the roast beef appeared to be pre sliced meat from a school cafeteria from the '80s. The potato and macaroni salad were also not made fresh. It looked as though it came from a premade container scooped onto the plate. We did not bring this to the attention of the staff as we felt this was a quality issue. How this place got over 4 stars, I will never know. Drive past the bear and get something else.

Very friendly for those needing a gluten free diet. Everyone was really nice and the food came out quickly.Come hungry though. The portions are huge. Had an omelet and a muffin and I couldn’t finish the omelet.
