The staff was great especially as they were full up with soccer teams and very busy. Everyone was friendly and courteous. The only thing lacking and not the staffs fault is the breakfast is not allergy friendly if you have a gluten allergy you option is Cheerios or bread in toasted. And they do have almond milk for dairy issues but if you have food allergies best bring your own the rooms have microwave and mini fridges.

My awful experience started when I tried calling in a few day prior to check in. I called and spoke with Evan I believe his name was. When he answered I was polite and said “ hi my name is Chris Andes how are you tonight” in return I got “ BUSY WHATS UP” . Now in my 17 years of customer service experience that was not the way to respond back to a paying customer. I asked if he could confirm my 2 rooms and if it was at all possible to get them conjoined as I have my family of 6 and didn’t want to separate. He then said “you’re going to have to wait while I take care of this customer in front of me” . Listen I get it we are all busy at work but the phone conversation could have been handled differently. If he would have been nice I would have been understanding.Fast forward to our stay….. night 2 I’m at the 7pm game with my son and thank god my wife was with my kids in the double room. She said the wind picked up and the windows blew in. God forbid 1 of my kids was standing where the window was this conversation would be totally different. Luckily it didn’t happen but you always have to think what if.To then DUCT TAPE the window shut and put a towel to stop for cold air and water from getting in is a little ridiculous. I didn’t find out until I returned from the game at 8:30pm to where my wife notified me. I went right to the counter to find that they didn’t even offer any sort of assistance to my wife I had to ask for it!?

On a spur of the moment get away and to just do something spontaneous we took a trip to visit a few places in New Hampshire even though it was off season. We toured the Hampton Beach Area and the Sig Sauer Flagship Store. We found the Hampton Inn & Suites at Exeter to be in a nice location to be able to do both. We were greeted by, I believe, Evan. Very friendly during check in. He also made a few suggestions of places to eat. Which we did visit one of them just across the street. Great food by the way. Thank you for the tip. The Hotel was very well kept. The room was quiet and comfortable and very clean. My wife was happy that she could walk across the hall to the fitness room. The morning breakfast was good and choices as well. We plan on a return trip in warmer weather and stay at same place.Rooms: Very well kept.Nearby activities: Hampton Beach about 12 miles away.Walkability: Places to eat within walking distance

We travel a lot and this hotel was excellent given that it's a Hampton Inn. The staff were uniformly helpful. The room was clean and quiet. The breakfast was very nice. There was a good variety, the food was well prepared. The coffee was excellent. There was ample, convenient parking. I have no negative comments and I would stay here again.

I had been to this hotel several years back and it changed drastically. They removed the hot tub but they have a new pool that is beautiful and I believe salt water. The room layout was nice and very clean. But the shower was awful no water pressure and the water had a lot of copper in it. The mattress was absolutely terrible. My hips and shoulder hurt badly from sleeping on it. The pillow felt like a five dollar Walmart pillow and was awful. I was a military spouse for many years and have stayed in a lot of Hampton Suites and the mattresses have never been this bad at any other one I have stayed at and they where not that bad when I stayed years ago.

Thanksgiving eve 2023 we our airbnb ceiling came down due to water damage. I booked a room at the Hampton Inn and Suites in Exeter because they were the only hotel close by reasonably priced that accepted dogs. We stayed a total of 14 days and found The Hampton Inn in Exeter to be beyond the basic hotel..A few things that stood out to me were:The second night was Thanksgiving and on my way back into my room I was greeted by the GM of the hotel. Turns out the GM works Thanksgiving so his employees can have the day off (who don't celebrate Christmas due to religious reason) and the GM is able to have Christmas off. Not many GM's are willing to do that. In fact in all my years in the customer service industry I have never seen a GM willingly work a holiday. So, I was wicked impressed with that. The entire hotel staff was wonderful and I really mean that. Every person I talked to was kind and friendly. There was not a single bad interaction with a hotel staff at all.We had an issue with noise on our floor one time and the staff addressed the issue immediately and it wasn't an issue again. The breakfast was amazing. The ladies made sure everything was fresh and full. There was never anything missing or rotten. They were quick to address any issues and in fact I saw many of them helping small children while their own parents sat back and did nothing. All the areas of the hotel to include my room were very well maintained. The parking lot and grounds were clean and tidy as well.Like I said I generally don't leave reviews but I usually don't end up staying 14 days in one either. So, take it for what its worth but 14 days in a hotel without an issue says alot.**The 4 star for location is because traffic turning into the hotel can get problematic at 5 pm as the road is a very busy road.

The staff were friendly and full of hospitality. The hotel was beautiful and clean. The breakfast was delicious and plenty of choices for hot foods included with our stay. The pool was warm and not too deep for the kids to enjoy but not too shallow that the adults couldnt also enjoy. The bathtub in the room was deep enough for and adult to take a bath and be all the way in the water which was absolutely amazing! The windows opened which allowed for cool night breeze to flow in which doesn't often happen at hotels which was nice. It had a cute little patio area out side that was nice for relaxing. It was close to all the things I wanted to do and places I was visiting. It was a great stay and we will stay here again if we are in the area for sure!Rooms: They were clean and the beds were comfy. The tubs in the bathrooms were amazing, an adult fits all the way in water while taking a bath!Nearby activities: Hampton beach and salisbury beach are about 20-30 minutes away depending on traffic and there are all the shops and restaurants u could want with in minutes of the hotel.

Pros: spacious room, awesome shower, extremely comfortable pillows, and breakfast was amazing and delicious!Cons: TV was annoying and remote barely worked. Sign said room service would be coming in every 5 days for extended stays: I was there 22 days and they never came in. Small chair that I don't see it's function or purpose

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. The room was spotless and spacious. Check-in was super fast and easy. Thanks to the front office staff who delivered the best services, we don’t know her name but she was an Asian ethnicity.Thank you to Miss Barb who was taking care of the breakfast almost every day. She is a hard-working person and deserves a star. Thank you for the HK staff who made up and refresh our room (Summer and Olivia)Complimentary Coffee and tea were available anytime 24 hours at the lobby. There is a washer and dryer on the 2nd floor near the ice machine that guests can use by paying $2 for each cycle. Washer took 60 minutes just for $2, you just need 30 minutes and your clothes came dried and clean. Maybe they need to check this laundry room from time to time so the area will always be clean.Overall we love to stay in this hotel and we will stay again in the future, every time we come to NH. Thank you! (Room 311)

Stayed here for the weekend to attend some classes at Sig Sauer. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was super comfortable, and spacious for what we had. Being able to use my phone as a room key was pretty cool. The breakfast options were pretty good, and the pool was pretty awesome!Rite Aid was basically next door, and there were several restaurants within walking distance.

An amazing Pet Friendly hotel! I love this place. It feels like home waking through the doors. Even though I live locally, this a like a little getaway for us. We love that we can bring our dog & still get the cleanliness we expect from a Hilton. I’m EXTREMELY freaked out by dirty hotels and I go looking. I notice everything and honestly this is the only hotel, besides 1 other, I haven’t had to clean the room before I could feel comfortable enough to relax. A lot of places have “pet rooms” where the cleanliness is not clean at all. Pretty disgusting actually. The cleanliness here is impeccable. I’ve stayed all over the place and have seen some horrendous rooms. The staff is wonderful! Extremely polite, accommodating and helpful. We stayed for close to a month, they worked with us to schedule room cleanings during our stay because of our dog, helped in any way they could, held doors, helped with luggage etc. In other words, the staff has great manners. Always greeted with a smile. Breakfast is also amazing! Most places don’t offer this type of a spread with no cost! I love waffles and love the waffle machines and fruit. They also offer eggs, meats, cold cereal, pastries, breads etc. Hot coffee is available free 24-7 in the lobby. There is juice, milk etc for breakfast. Also good hours for breakfast if you’d like to sleep in. Love the pool & fitness center as well - all well taken care of & clean. This hotel feels much more like a luxury hotel with a casual & friendly atmosphere. We have been back multiple times since our long stay and will continue to do so when we want to get away. A plus with a capital P!

Only some of the staff was attentive or receptive. The cook kept making omelets which limited the hot food we were able to eat based on what she put in it. When we expressed that to her she was like oh well. On the 3rd morning she finally made plain eggs which we could eat. The cleaning staff never came into our room the entire time. We had to ask for new towels on the 3rd night and took out our trash on the 3rd day as well, never put up the "do not disturb" sign either and they still never cleaned. We were told they are only there for limited time during the day. I informed front desk around 9am that the pool was almost out of towels (maybe 5 left) and for the entire day (checked again around 2p and 5p) nothing was done. The "heated" indoor pool was cold. Elevators broke and the staff was telling guests "use it at your own risk". The ambiguous and non- chalant attitude of some of the staff was NOT what I am used to from hilton hotels. Would seriously think twice about staying here again.Safety: Is in a safe area

I stayed here for 1 night for my anniversary, and boy was it an amazing anniversary! The staff were very friendly and because I am a diamond member they were able to get me the room that i wanted (top floor with only 1 neighbor). I was also given 2 free waters for being a diamond member at the reception. The room was clean and modern looking, with a bed, a couch, a few chairs, a bathroom, kichen, and a BIG centerpiece table with a mounted tv. The shower was nice and big with shampoo, conditioner, and bodywash pumps mounted on the side (i love when hotels have that). The pool wasn't huge, but not terribly small either. The water was warm and comfortable right when we walked into it, and it went to a max depth of about 5 feet. I wouldn't say the pool is large enough to swim around a lot, but definitely nice and relaxing to float around in the warm water which was all we wanted really. I did try the fitness room a bit and it is fairly comprehensive with many different size free weights and machines, but i didnt spend too much time in there. The tv was a nice size making it easy to kick back in bed and watch, and the bed was very comfortable as well and made for a nice sleep. The free breakfast in the morning was tasty! Although, it is still a hotel breakfast so don't expect lobster or anything, i just had eggs, bacon, and a little pancake thingy but it all tasted good and the coffee was nice and hot. The literal only complaint that have is that the room came with 2 Fiji waters (expensive and tasty brand of water, the taste hits different) and we drank them and were charged 10$ because they werent actually included and cost extra. No worries though, i mean we did drink the waters so it's only fair we pay for them but i just didn't remember seeing a sign or anything indicating they were not free. I could've missed it though so I'm just gonna say it right here, THE FIJI WATER IS NOT FREE. Hopefully that'll inform anybody who might be missing the sign from their room haha. All in all though, a great experience and would definitely come back (Maybe for my next anniversary).

I was taking my boys on a fishing trip out of Hampton and the location of this hotel was perfect. It was about 15-17 minutes away. Plenty of restaurants right nearby, even walking distance from the hotel. We also went to an old candlepin bowling alley which my boys had never played and loved! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced. They are strict about the 18 plus gym age. So if you have serious, younger, gym go-ers, they will be thrown out of the gym. The breakfast was typical complimentary breakfast, they had a variety of yogurts, cereals, breads, fruit, eggs and waffle irons to make your waffles. It does end at 9, so if you want to eat before you check out, you have to get up early and go. The staff was courteous. We were very happy with the hotel and would stay here again.Rooms: Our room was 2 queen beds. They weren't doubles. They were good sized abd comfortable. Plenty of space around the beds and a desk/table area, a bench, a closet, ironing board & iron, full length mirror outside of the bathroom. The bathroom was clean. Plenty of counter space for all the toiletries. I like that they had large shampoo, conditioner and shower gel bottles affixed to the wall of the shower so no need for all those little bottles falling all over the place.Nearby activities: Hampton beach is a 15-17 minute drive. In tge summer they have fireworks on Wednesday nights at 9:30. They are worth going to. We enjoyed them and walking up and down the boardwalk. The casino is tiny, but functional. They had a couple slots and Table games. UT wasn't crowded even after the fireworks.Al Gaurins deep sea fishing trips are out of hampton beach and the resson we were up there. We love the fishing trip ls with them and highly recommend it. I dont fish normally, but it is something that my boys and I enjoy doing once a year together. The staff on the boat is great and they will filet and skin your fish for you!Near the hotel is a candlepin bowling alley with 12 lanes, cash only, and hand scoring. My kids had never seen anything like that and loved it. It is attached to a bar where you can go buy drinks and bring into the bowling alley. It was so fun, they asked to go back again the second night of our stay.Safety: We felt safe and secure at the hotel. There was a car parked in the back with 2 flat tires that concern me at one point when I parked my car back there, but my car was fine. The other people staying there who we ran into on the elevator and at breakfast all seemed nice.Walkability: You can walk to several restaurants and a gym. Otherwise, you are driving to the beach. Bowling was close, but it was dark and a busy main road, so we drove.Food & drinks: Margaritas in the plaza next door is fantastic. I'm not a beer drinker but there is a tap house across the street. We went there to eat, it was ok, we liked Margaritas better. There were plenty of other restaurants nearby as well, those are the 2 we went to.

This may have been the best Hampton Inn we have ever stayed in. The room was very clean and comfortable and the customer service here was outstanding! We arrived very late due to a delayed flight and Kaitlyn Greeley at the front desk was extremely knowledgeable, and helpful. We really felt like we were treated as honored guests. I’d give 10 stars if I could! Will absolutely stay again when visiting the area

Visiting for a weekend and stayed one night here. Check in was easy and breakfast was decent. Many breakfast items to choose from. Room was pet friendly and very clean, as a picky person this was perfect for me! Room and bathroom were bright and well lit. Shower was amazing! Shower soaps available as were soft soap at the sink. One of the cleanest rooms I’ve stayed in. Extras are a nice touch and thanks for having such a clean room for us! Thank you!!
