My friend, she wanted to check the store out because she has cats. I was actually impressed when I walked in. Interesting menagerie of animals, 🎶🐇 rabbits and guinea pigs and parakeets oh my! 🎶 I watched a dog 🐕 getting washed. They have an assortment of fish 🐟 that my kids found interesting. They have a fountain with large goldfish in it. It is sort of a small zoo.Large amount of products available for all sorts of pets. A bakery section for Fido. Friendly service. You can drop Fido off for a grooming.If you have a pet, you might want to stop by and check it out.

Fish section is great especially for a store that sells a lot more than just fish. I fell in love with Lighting McQueen the bird. Definitely worth a visit.

I bought Ham, a green cheek conure, from friendly pets. We absolutely love him! He’s such a sweet guy and I’m starting to train him. Very happy with his health and overall disposition.

We went to the store for the first time today to get some booties for our dog Molly, we were assisted by Kaelyn, she was extremely helpful in helping us find the right size for our dog, she was very kind and courteous, she answered all the questions I had about making sure I had the right harness for Molly, what treats are best for helping my pets stay as healthy as possible, because of her attitude and willingness to help, while also being knowledgeable about pet needs, will definitely make me go back there for all my pet needs

Have spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars at this pet store and am disappointed in the service I just received …. Waited in line for over 5 minutes with a gentleman in front of me , no big deal . Cashier had to go grab him some other items . He offered for her to ring me up before she did so. She said no because she already put in some of his items .and they both walked to back of store . I don’t find it necessary when there’s no one else in the store checking out to be waiting . I left items I was going to purchase . Store isn’t busy . No excuse

Went to see about a special bird that was up for adoption. Drove a good distance twice to speak with someone and nobody was available. Called 4 separate times and nobody was available. Left my name and phone number and no call back. Just called after some time to hear that the bird had just been taken. Apparently customer service takes a back seat with adopting animals too. No amount of excuses for not finding time to give a simple text or 30 second phone call to potential customers looking to find a animal companion. F-

Extreme mark ups, same stuff as Petsmart for 2 to 3 times the price and certain staff are not that friendly and seem to think you are stealing, if you go to look around and not buy they watch you like a hawkFish looked extremely neglected and they had a parrot there for a year and a half that isn't selling in a tiny cage maybe due to his 2k price tag.If they can't sell him they can at least give him a better set up

I come here weekly to pick up feeder mice for my snake. Everyone is always so nice and helpful! The store is absolutely beautiful and always stocked! The amazing prices are definately a plus!! Highly recommended!

Friendly Pets is my go to local pet store! Their staff are always friendly and greet every customer with a smile. They carry quite a vast choice of items for any pet you can think of from cats to snakes. The store is always tidy despite having small animals as well as a dog washing station. My family have been visiting Friendly Pets for many years; we previously bought three gerbils there who lived long healthy lives. Since they've passed we have two cats and Friendly Pets is where we go to buy all things needed for the cats. Amazing pet store for browsing for a new pet or buying pet supplies!!

I absolutely love friendly pets and am so grateful that I stumbled upon this great store with such a wonderful staff. Last year, my cat Bonnie got cancer. The staff at friendly pets went above and beyond with suggestions on how to make her feel more comfortable and what to feed her when she wouldn’t eat anything at all. One of their employees recommended CBD for the pain (the tumor was on my cats stomach) and she was eating more and clearly in less pain. About a week after coming in, I received a post card from one of the employees there expressing their concern and love for Bonnie and stated that if there was anything they could do to help, to reach out. I immediately burst out into tears, I was so grateful to have support and other people who truly cared about my cats’ health and happiness. Unfortunately Bonnie passed away a couple weeks later. Fast forward 8 months and I have two 6 month old kittens. I continue to shop with friendly pets and anytime I have an issue with them, the staff always recommends the most perfect thing to give them that I would never think of on my own. Thank you so much for always being there for us, for taking your knowledge about animals so seriously and passionately, and simply always being extremely kind and helpful. Your hard work does not go unnoticed. I highly recommend this store to anyone with a pet.

Good selection of dog and cat toys and treats. Staff is very nice. I can usually find what I need at the store. They have a good selection of dog birthday items that PetSmart in Epping, NH doesn't carry.

Incredible every time I have gone for random cat dog or fish supplies. Wow reading the few 1 star reviews....average consumer expects way too much. If you don’t like this pet store then you are most likely not going to like much in life. This pet store is incredible compared to all others. Simply the best. Do yourself a favor and go check them out.

I've been going to this store for years before it was friendly pets and I love the store, however, Recently, the manager is what made me do this review. I was told that something that I would be able to do that Impacts my life and she lied she refused what she said she would do. It's very disappointing I'll never go back. And the staff if there is any more than likely they won't have an answer to any question there is one maybe two people that have any knowledge and it seems like it inconveniences them. Now I have way more and I'm not a pet store I don't have the ability to do the same thing they do so pretty much they don't care about the animals or their extremely loyal customers.

Absolutely love this store!! Super friendly staff and well stocked store, with awesome prices! Renee was fun and cheerful, you can tell she loves her job and is great at it!! She spent a couple hours with us, getting us the most difficult to catch Koi I've ever seen! We will be returning here again and again!!

Have a selection of dog toys that I've only found online otherwise. Do not carry some more common cat food brands like iams. Offers small pet sitting which I thought was pretty niche and neat.

I left my 2 rabbits for a week with specific feeding instructions and they didn’t listen to my instructions. I feed them only a handful of pellets a day and the amount of pellets that was fed to them in a week was probably a months worth! I was really hoping things were gonna go well with this place since other reviews were really good but I personally didn’t have a great experience. For future vacations, I’ll be leaving them with someone I know who I can trust with my rabbits.

Excellent customer service! One of the employees took the time to recommend a dog food for my parents Jack Russell who had skin allergies. Very knowledgeable and took her time to answer my questions. Good variety of products!

Over all it is very clean. The staff is very friendly & informative. If one doesn't know the answer to a question another worker will help out. They have a really sweet & cute bakery dept. Where they have just the right treat for your dog. They have something for just about every pet. They sell Rabbits, Birds,Fish, mice, Snakes, reptiles etc.. Food for all of them also. Stop in & check it out. You will be happy that you did.

I like how we get to see different animals that you don't see very often. When I go there, I usually look for fish. When I ask about what's the best option the people give me a lot of information that you don't get off the internet. There is usually depending on the type of fish that you like there would be a discount/ sale and you would only have to pay 3.99 for a blue crown female fish. I love how the people in the store are kind and ask if I found everything that I looked for. I recommend going here if you want a lot of information on something if you are trying something for the first time.

I decided to finally put my aquarium together. Andrew was amazing. Helping me pick my fish and explain who would work with who. No fish fights here. I did everything we discussed when I got home. Spending $80.oo on fish, I thought would last at least 2 days. I got this fish tank for trauma in my life that has left me with severe anxiety. I'm hoping it will help soothe my house. The fish were dead the next day. Except for the snail and i fish. I brought the evidence back 4 days later bc of snow storm delay. They give u a 78-hour window. I was not compensated. They said I was past the deadline and argued. I had water tested. They said to much alkaline. 😔 I used their water and Fiji. My one $80 fish is in a world by himself 4 weeks later.

I love this store and especially love talking to the birds! There is a really sweet green Monk Parrot who's a real kick. There is a cool African Gray that wolf whistles and has a bit to say. The staff at Friendly Pets in Exeter are delightful and the dog food prices are great!

My wife bought my kids 4 fish . On their way out the staff said any issues with the fish you have 48hrs to replace them, they can be temperamental. One died within 12 hours. I went to bring it back the next day. Different staff said , we need to test the water. We brought little in as we’re not told this before. They tested What we had and it was high in something.. No free replacement. Now it’s only $10 I know. It’s the principle here of the matter though. I walked out and left the new things I was going to buy on the counter along with my “almost” replacement fish. I didn’t argue, just told my kids “let’s go”.I will never purchase another item from this store again . Staff who handle customers this way are not good for business .

I've been going to Friendly Pets since they first opened in Lee. My family and I absolutely love this store and find they go above and beyond to help. If they don't carry something, they will order it and it comes in quickly. The staff and owner are always friendly :-)If we have a pet related question, they do their best to offer help and guidance. Highly recommend Friendly Pets.

First- adopt your pets (locally reccomend the Stratham SPCA). Second- take them to Friendly Pets. My pooch loves our visits to the store. They carry high quality foods and treats and the prices reflect this however they are similar to elsewhere and the store is clean bright and well stocked with a wide selection. Our regular pet supply store of choice.

Absolutely love Friendly Pets in both Lee and Exeter. Their staff is always so helpful and informative. It’s obvious how much they love helping and educating their customers. I’ve been in so many times asking for advice about my many animals. They never seem annoyed or try to rush me. They take so much time helping me understand why certain foods are better for my dog and extra nutritional needs of my guinea pigs. Things I never knew. Thank you Friendly Pets! You have a customer for life!
