Perfect mix of professional and bedside manor. They have taken care of my dog for 10 years. When he was having hot spot issues it took a while but it was determined he has allergies. They supported us and him the whole time. They could see the frustration from us when he was hearting and they continued to help us find the help he needed. Since getting medicated food close to 5 years ago he hasn'thad one hot spot. Great team

They are gentle, understanding, and compassionate. They work with my tight budget. I had to put my dog down in November. I was able to hold him and be outside. I got a letter from them with his paw print and an ornament with his paw print ❤️ I also bring my cat. Have trust in your pet will be well taken care of!

Brentwood Country Animal Hospital is the best vets I've ever used. I've had 4 over the past 30 years and I've never experienced the individualized attention and care that they provide. If you want to have your animals cared for by honest, loving people and not get price gouged , look no further. You'll absolutely love them. I know I do and they'll be my vets for life. After moving to the area this summer, my animals needed a new vet - this can be such a trying ordeal, especially with one of my cats who is prone to stress-induced medical needs.The staff at Brentwood has been, hands down, amazing. On my first visit they were incredibly helpful and inviting, with a welcome message listed on their greeting board specifically for my critters. Everyone from the front desk to the veterinary assistants and doctors were interested in my crew, wonderful and patient with me, and took the time to explain their recommendations and my options for each of the animals unique needs.Highly recommended!

Really happy with this animal hospital! We just moved to the area with our 4 cats and our dog. One of our cats is special needs, as is our dog. We brought in our special needs kitty, Hambone, and they even had a cute sign greeting him! It was so sweet. The techs and the veterinarian were so gentle and sweet with him. They really took the time to get to know him and his needs. I was able to leave feeling super relieved that all of our babies will be in good hands with them. We're looking forward to bringing the whole gang in for their annual check ups!

This is the best vet we've been to. Very friendly staff and very personable. My dog Logan's nails have never been cut so short in her 6 years of life. Dr. Hunt was so good with her. Logan even ate a cookie from her, wich was a first. Prices are fair and manageable. I liked walking in with a quite environment. My Logan is a very skittish and was calm from the first moment we walked in. Wich made me pleased. They did not do any unnecessary procedures. Just what was needed at this visit. I'm very pleased and will go back if Logan needs to. Thank you to the staff.

The vets and support staff here are wonderful. I had an almost 16 year old dog; we lived in five places (with many vets) over the course of her life and BCAH was the most supportive and welcoming vet that we have been to. They were kind, caring, and always very informative. They made the last years of my dog's life so much better with their care and support.

I have been going here for 25 years, had many pets treated and helped, from new born to end of life. Never had a bad experience. Even when its the toughest of times they are thoughtful and respectful of your feelings and pets. I occasionally found that If they were extremely busy with a full waiting room and you have an anxious pet they may ask you to keep them in the car until its time to bring them in or maybe bring them in the back door to reduce the pets anxiety, and avoid problems with other pets in the waiting room. This is something I appreciate having a very large dog that is a baby, he will sometimes be a little uncontrollable in the waiting room having the back entrance has helped on occasions to reduce his stress and have a smooth visit.

I would have picked zero stars if that was an option, I’m absolutely appalled by the way they treated my animal. I definitely don’t recommend bring your animal here even if it’s just a minor concern. I brought my guinea pig to see their small animal certified vet for a wellness check-up and at the time I was satisfied. I wasn’t able to go inside because of COVID so naturally I didn’t realize what a poor job they did evaluating him during the visit. Then months and several overpriced visits later, I found out that my guinea pig I referred to numerous times to as a girl, who literally went by the name CHANEL, and had all pink travel carriers and blankets, was a boy. How does a small animal certified vet miss something like that? How does someone who studies the bodies of these creatures not recognize the fact that my guinea pig has male anatomy? How? Just! How! Now because of the false confidence that my vet gave me about “her” clean bill of health and absolutely nothing being wrong after many visits about concerns, I have another guinea pig who is PREGNANT. HOW DO YOU MISS THAT.

Since we move to New Hampshire 4 years ago, we have been a "regular" at BCAH. Everyone at the hospital has been super helpful with our dog who has gone through allergy changes since moving from the south to north.They are helpful by phone or e-mail all the time. They also get back in touch with you and always have time to see your pet, if there is an issue.First class and a very caring, pet loving place!

We've been bringing our 2 Labs and our cat to Dr Lawton for 8yrs know. We have always gotten the best care we could hope for and that goes for the animals as well as me and my wife.Not only is Dr Lawton knowledgable but she is great in how she explains things. I would recommend the Brentwood Country Animal Hospital to anyone looking for competent and compassionate care for their animals. I take both my dog and cat to this clinic. We primarily see Dr. Lawton but have also seen Dr. Kaufman and Dr. Hunt as well. Earlier this year, I found out that my cat, Isis, had cancer in one of her paws. Dr. Lawton advised us that amputation was our best option as she had a very locally aggressive type of cancer that did not often spread to other parts of the body. She also suggested that we get a second opinion from a pet oncologist who reinforced her recommendation. Dr. Kaufman consulted on her case, and Dr. Hunt performed the surgery. Not only did the veterinarians in this clinic provide exceptional care to my cat, they also made the entire experience much easier on me. They explained what was happening every step of the way. Isis adjusted very well to the loss of her limb, however, she developed many behavioral issues as a result of her condition. Her recovery was a very long process. The receptionists and veterinary tech’s fielded numerous phone calls from me and were always very kind and helpful. Dr. Lawton went above and beyond in regard to Isis’ aftercare. She never seemed too busy to answer my questions regardless of the time of day. I can’t imagine how difficult this experience would have been without their help and kindness.

Great place. Brought my dog there a few times for a 2nd opinion. Worth the additional 20 mins there and back. Staff is very friendly. We saw Dr. Kaufman. She was fantastic and very thorough, kind, and knowledgeable. The cost was very reasonable as well. I definitely recommend this place.

The care and quality of service at BCAH is second to none, from the minute you walk in the door the staff's professionalism shows through. Their care and explaination of your situation, whether it be a check up or an emergency is one of the reasons we use this facility. Dr. Lawton, Dr. Kaufman, & Dr. Hunt are never too busy to answer your questions or follow through with aftercare concerns, and always makes us feel like our pets are one of their family. They've helped us through some tough times with our dogs and we will be forever greatful and thankful that Brentwood Country Animal Hospital was there to help us!

We have always taken our pets to Brentwood Country Animal Hospital because all of them have gotten the best of care from a group of people who genuinely care for animals. Even in the sad time when one of our very loved pets my wonderful Old English Sheepdog Duffy had to be euthanized they were so understanding and wonderful, helping me get through that time.My new puppy Pippi Nostockings actually likes to go there and tries to visit with everyone.I even bring the Exeter Public Library guinea pig Dewey when he needs medical attention to BCAH and they know just what to do for him too.I can not say enough about how great they all are and the high quality of care my animals receive.
