This is a great, quiet campground on the water. Good for fishing and non-motorized boats. The river is very quiet. The view of the stars are amazing here.It is a leashed, Dog Friendly Campground, which is great!!No power in camp sites, water spigots are located within 200ft of all sites. No generators are allowed at this campground. There is a small camp store, for anything you forgot, including firewood, Please don't bring your firewood from out of state, we don't want your bugs.Located 3 minutes from the center of Errol, (Food, Fuel, Supplies).I included pics of all of the sites in the main campground, except 41 & 42 at the very end. I also did not include pics of Osprey & Moose Crossing camp sites, which are approximately 2500ft & 1 mile North of the Seven Islands Bridge on the east side of Rt 16. Those are tight entrances for full size trucks, the driveway brush could be trimmed back, but good overhead tree coverage at the sites for shade.Restrooms: Pit toilets. Clean and stocked with TP and hand sanitizer.

For camping, this is an awesome park. All the sites are very tidy and nicely spaced. It’s so quiet in 13 mile wood, what a great stay. The caretaker as well was awesome.

Stayed two nights in Aug. '17. Quiet and nice sized campground. Lean-to's were beautiful although we were in a tent site. Beautiful access/view of river. Muddy bottom for swimming, but clean cool water. Many sites directly on river. Some small and not very private, but a fair number have good brush/tree screening between. If you just want to float/paddle, relax, this is a great place. Looking for more amenities, not so much. We would definitely go back.

In hopes that this year the campground will re-open. Nestled in the 13 Mile Woods, this is still one of the Gems of NH Camping! Overnight, over-weekend or stay the week, plenty of outdoor activity around.Bring tire tubes, kayak or canoe and float from the bridge in town to the campground. Fishing along the river great and never know when you'll see wildlife on the banks.Head south to the Seven Island Bridge and cross into some wonderful backcountry with areas unknown to most. Travel the circle back north in Maine and cross back into Errol. Travel north on Rt 16 and experience more of rural NH & Maine.

T'was thirty years ago, maybe forty, when me and a fishin' buddy camped here for the first time. We'd come up from Connecticut so we classified as "Flat-landers" according to the Old Timer who was running the place. Went by the name of Ed (moose) Damp. One of the finest story tellers this side of Beryl Ives and old Pea-pickin' Ernie. He kept the whole of Thirteen Mile Woods fit and proper and down rite pristine. Now I maybe wrong, but word has it the woman in charge of Mollidgewock now is a close relative to old Moose. If'n that's the case, I want to thank you for continuing 'Moose' tradition. One hell of a High Bar. If it's been handed down again after all these years to another person, then it goes to you as well.Thank you. (Moose is smilin' from the clouds.)

Most sites on water side, really nice campsite, bathrooms ( pits ) were only let down, but great if you want the primitive life style
