Staff is friendly and helpful. The pharmacy is what I go for most of the time. You need patience with them. Seems like there always working hard. Sometimes the automatic refills does not go through. You do need to be on top of things so you don't run out. When they say there contacting your Dr for a script renewal it's best to call Dr your self. Most of the time they say it rejected. But when I call Dr office said they never received a request and sent it for me. Then pharmacy gets it right away. So I don't know what's going on there. But it happens often.

This pharmacy is the slowest I’ve ever experienced! They say your prescription will be ready in 15 minutes and if you come back 2 hours later, it’s still not ready! They say they will have a medication in stock in 2 days and 2 weeks later, still don’t have it!!!

Requested to speak with a manager about a coupon that expired on the same day that I received it; trying to gain some new insight or understanding. Was denied help by the cashier to speak with the manager over and over and over again. She kept saying “they’re just going to tell you the same thing I am”. But that is besides the point, I am trying to ask additional questions - do not tell me you can’t get management for me to speak with… just get the management. Absolutely useless

Disgusting unsanitary joke of a store!The place is disgusting and full of incompetent morons who don’t care about anyone other than themselves or doing their jobs. When I spoke to a manager about the bathroom he basically said “it’s not my problem”. Not to mention the mess that is the pharmacy. I was on hold for over 2 HOURS trying to get ahold of someone regarding an urgent medication and I had to go into the store just to he told it’d be another hour.This company disgusts me every day.

The retail store is well stocked and the staff are very friendly and helpful. However, the pharmacy is either understaffed or poorly managed. I tried to pick up a prescription after surgery and could not reach anyone in the pharmacy department to receive a status update and to provide them with my insurance information as a new customer. After experiencing hold times of over an hour, l had my boyfriend drive to the store given my condition. Going forward, l will not use the Walgreens pharmacy given its poor customer service, inadequate staffing and overall inability to provide essential services. Hannnaford’s has been recommended as a suitable alternative. I hope Walgreens takes measures to evaluate their pharmacy staffing and drug prescription protocols to meet the community needs. Their current business model is irresponsible and unsustainable.

Every time I tried to pick up a prescription here there was a problem. EVERY time! I moved to Hannaford’s Pharmacy and they have been perfect. My father however did not move. Now I sit here in line, again, only to find that they only have a PARTIAL order of his life saving meds! OMG! I’m so done with this place!!!!!! I’m changing dad to another pharmacy too! They wanted me to talk to a manager and I said “why? I did 2 years ago and if anything it got worse, not better!!!!” Ugh. So done!

Poorly run and non-responsive pharmacy. I scheduled drive-through covid tests for my family here for travel purposes. The drive-through line moved very slowly. When it was our turn, staff seemed unsure of what they were doing and gave us a swab with incorrect personal information on it. While Walgreens indicated results typically come within 24 hours, nearly five days later I still have not received them. When I tried to call the pharmacy to sort out the issue, no one answered the phone. I was on hold for over two hours before giving up.By contrast, I got a covid test two days later at a different Walgreens a few towns over and received results within approximately one hour.

Staff is kind and courteous! Although they are rather busy due to covid testing, covid shots, and prescriptions all going through the pharmacy the staff is still upbeat and works to get is all done. That being said you will have long wait times for anything pharmaceutical as the are currently juggling it all. Even if your prescription isn't filled just yet they will get it ready as fast as they are able while still helping others and you should have the script within 10 minutes

This pharmacy does not complete pharmacy orders. They give you partial refills and then forget to fill the rest of your prescription. This has happened multiple times over the past 6 months. They never seem to have medications in stock and my orders have been canceled with no explanation whatsoever! I have had to go to the store and point out my partial refill to the pharmacist in order for him to actually fill the remaining prescription. Do not use this pharmacy!! One star is too good for this store!

The staff is always pleasant but the Pharmacy wait times are absurd.You pull into line after the Rx has been sent for 2 hours ,only to be told " Another 20 minutes, then pull in after 40 minutes only to be told." Not ready yet!"" During Covid ... Common to wait 5 to 6 hours...Need more Pharmacist's .

This is the worst pharmacy I've ever gone to. I've waited no less than 20 min in drive thru and inside at the pharmacy. The automated system is terrible. I've gotten texted that scripts were ready and when I showed up they said it wasn't ready. When I tried to get details the staff don't seem to have answers or know what is going on. They also got frustrated with me quickly.

Bought a go2bank debit card for 2.95 and put $50.00 on it! Tried to register the card online as instructions say but it keeps being denied! Tried every phone number and it's all automated with no options to a live customer service representative so I went back to the store and they said there was nothing they could do, no refund or anything!

This store is awful. They should just shut down the pharmacy as they hold people hostage with prescriptions and it’s impossible to get them to let go. I stood in line for 25 minutes and went through the process of canceling my account with them so I can move to another pharmacy. I was told I was all and my account was cancelled. This was because of their inability to fill prescriptions and they NEVER answer the phone. One month later they filled my prescriptions anyway and have blocked my insuranceability to get my prescriptions at my new pharmacy. I work and can’t go in the store to wait again. On the phone again in queue again waiting to speak with them. This is ridiculous. I am so offended that they don’t respect my time. They should just shut down the pharmacy until they can get staffed to provide service. Other stores are short staff and are having trouble now but nothing like this. This store’s customer service is on another planet. STAY AWAY at all costs.

Pharamacy visits take at least 20 minutes each month and I usually have to make 3 visits just to get all my prescriptions. There’s always an issue and different stories. I have no idea what goes on here but it’s not fair to customers or the employees who have to constantly get yelled at because systems don’t work or training isn’t sufficient etc.

My prescription was sent by my doctor on Friday night. I have pneumonia and need to take an antibiotic. The pharmacy was closed on Friday for the day for New Years. Closed Saturday. Went on Sunday at 11:30am to get my presciption. Sat in the drive thru live for 25 minutes just to get to the window and be told that it won't be ready until 4 or 5!! I needed to start taking this 2 days ago! They are getting slower and even more useless every time I go there now! It's nuts!

The pharmacy really doesnt even deserve a star. My husband called in two meds 2 weeks ago one was for his heart. I kept goung back. I go today and i still have to wait an hour and they only had one. Their excuse was they are short handed. Well my husbands health doesn't care about their short handedness when it comes to his heart meds. I am very disappointed in them. I am going back to Riteaid

Still waiting for may prescription since Friday. I was tpld I was doing them a favor by not waiting for the script then and it would be ready on Saturday. Saturday comes and the pharmacy in't even open. Go back on Sunday after waiting an hour in line, I'm told the the script is still not ready. Maybe 2 hours from now, Maybe tomorrow. By tomorrow, I'll be out of medication. This phamarcy used to be so reliable. What happened!

Had to wait over 45 minutes in drive thru 2 times only to be told my prescription still wasn't ready...(received an email saying all set to be picked up) they may be the only pharmacy in this town. I will definitely be switching to cvs (next town away, but worth the extra miles.

Surprisingly I was able to find the same brand of baby organic sunscreen here for a fraction of the price, which I was so thrilled about! However, like others have said the drive through is hit or miss. With two little ones in tow the drive through is a great option but there’s been a few times where I wasn’t handed back my insurance card and with a huge line of cars behind me I’ve had to bring everyone inside to get my cards that weren’t handed back, which totally defeats the whole drive though aspect.

The drive-through pharmacy could take a page from a McDonald’s franchisee and learn how to move the line along. Way too many times I’ve sat in lines with eight or 10 cars for 15/20 minutes. Whatever is taking so long, that person should be encouraged to move along and come back later.

Never have had a good experience with this pharmacy and I've tried it countless times because of convenience but it's just not worth it. Was just there and they couldn't locate 3 different patients prescriptions back to back. Yikes.

Walgreens is USUALLY my go to pharmacy, but not THIS one! I don’t know why this particular Pharmacy is bad but I have never had a good experience with them. Have had great experience with other Walgreens but this one is horrible. Go to another pharmacy if you can.

Called this pharmacy to see if they had a certain medicine in stock. Well tried to. Put on hold 6 times and never spoke to one person. Supposedly only 1 person in front of me. Ten minutes later, I'm done.

My daughter needed medicine that was called into my old walgreens pharmacy in Massachusetts except they did not have in stock. When I called Hampstead Walgreens to see if they had it in stock, the woman was rude insisting she needed to know the exact prescriptionAll she had to do was listen to me tell her that we have been customers of Walgreens for many years and she simply needed to pull up our name in the system as the script was called in. Very unhelpful, rude, and condescending while my child was in dire need. I ended up going to Massachusetts to get a partial refill. Too bad. I am new to this town and I think I will continue picking up my scripts in Mass. I will not do business hereEdited: finally switched my entire family over to CVS after going to Walgreens 3 times in one day because they kept giving me either the wrong script, wrong dose, or meds not even being ready a week after calling them in. CVS has been a godsend. No more waiting weeks for a script, no more having the wrong meds dispensed, no more lies from the pharmacists saying they've called my PCP when my PCP says they never received calls, and no more having wrong meds in my chart after repeated attempts to have removed.. CVS knows what they are doing

This pharmacy always seems to lose the E-script sent over from my doctor's office. Every time I inquire about my script, they some how don't have it or it goes missing. It's a prescription, not Harry Houdini. Every time I express my frustration, they feed me a barrel of excuses. They tell me to touch base with my doctor's office to re-send the script. After this next up and coming script, I'm done with this circus sideshow. One star is too much of a compliment. Done, done, done with this dirty diaper!👎👎💩

Phil, the head pharmacist is outstanding! He knows your name, without a hesitation, and has helped me with prescription and OTC products. If I have an issue with anyone else, I know I can go to Phil and he will go above and beyond to take care of me. It’s like dealing with your home town pharmacy with the convenience of a chain.

I'm a physician that my patient informed me the pharmacy needed me to call back. Pharmacy never called, mailed or faxed any documentation. Spent over 2 and a half hours on hold only for the pharmacist to disconnect the call before saying hello.

Store is OK for what it is. Staff is nice.Pharmacy……system is always down. So Nope. Corporate needs to step in regarding the ongoing issues with the pharacy infrastructure.
