I am quite happy with the bakery here and use them to cater many events, the staff in the bakery are always friendly and help me figure out what I need no matter the size of what I am hosting. I find the veggies to be miss quite often in the produce section, but I do like the assortment of ethnic food choices and am always able to find something new to try at home. They do usually have a great ice cream selection.

This is a small Hannaford but it has a great variety of selection. This one also has really good sushi.

Sorry, but Hannaford is like Shaws. Only things on sale are decent in price. Everything else is too expensive. Their seafood is good. I wish that department was open later. Last time I went it was closed, and it wasn't even very late in the evening.7/29/2023There wasn't much of a selection of anything. Most items on sale were out of stock. The location I went to today is and was overpriced, anyway. They should know that there are other well-known grocery stores only a short distance away, so they should be more well stocked and have lower prices to be competitive. It wouldn't take me to go elsewhere to get the same things for a-lot less. IJS.

This is a smaller location. Compared to their full sized stores, this location is about half the size and as such has less of a variety. Prices are the same as other Hannafords in the area. Produce section here is usually very good with lots of fresh offerings that seem to last longer than most other places. No bakery but still offer some of Hannafords baked goods. Very convenient if you live in Durham. Only about a mile off rt4 if you're passing by. The staff here are always friendly and helpful for sure.

This Hannaford’s is lucky to have Robin as one of their managers. I had a situation recently in their parking lot, which really had nothing to do with their store, and she went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. This is an example of great management and a good person. Colonial Property Management, however, the company that manages the parking lot, is a company that you want to avoid at all costs, especially Dan, the manager.

Polite staff, nice small store, they have all the basic things a grocery store has including a small organic section but not many fancy items. Been here dozens of times and only had one problem (kambucha was flat). Other than that it's a decent little store.

The Hannaford market is a nice short walk from my residence hall and it has a great selection of food to choose from! I stopped in to get some hot sauce and a dish brush, it's a small market but it has most everything someone would need! There's also a self checkout which is super awesome too! If you're a UNH student and you need to get something definitely check them out. They can also take cats cache!

I have always found the staff to be friendly and helpful. Special order at the meat department never an issue, need help finding something not an issue, never a visit without someone acknowledging my visit. I enjoy and respect all the folks at the hannafords in Durham.

This Hannaford Supermarket is clean and organized, but very small. Making most product options limited. It’s a convenient location to stop in, pick up the staples you need. But I personally couldn’t complete grocery shopping there.

It's close, reasonably organized, and staff is friendly and helpful.That said, they need more floating staff in aisles to help reach or to answer questions. The prices are too high, the package sizes are shrinking every month, and I'd rather have an honest sign if there is a shortage than to see stuff slid around so there is no gap on the shelves.Everyone knows that we have serious food scarcity in the US, and we are all aware of the many farm to store transportation disruptions. You can't have a half million Americans die without it affecting farms, factories, trucking, and wholesaling.If 5 of the 8 wholesalers Hannaford gets lemons from can't deliver, put 5 little tent cards letting us know which companies need our prayers or online support. It's about time the reality of food shortages be as visible as it is real.Side benefit? Maybe those customers who are moral and caring will see there are 25 people who would like toilet paper and one pallet of 25 packages...maybe be the reasonable and good neighbor, make sure every person around them gets a 4 pack just like you?

This Hannaford is smaller than most but has all the basics. Very close proximity to University of New Hampshire. It is always well stocked and staff is very friendly.

Small store, produce was in very good shape. Opens at 9, closes at 8 p.m. now. 6 p.m. on Saturday and 5 p.m. on Sunday. Staff are always helpful.

There isn't a large selection of just about anything. It's okay for a quick stop, but if you are looking for weekly grocery shopping and need/want variety, you are better off going to another store. It isn't Hannaford in general, just this location.

Card wasn’t working at self checkout, I asked if I could use another machine, I was denied because it was “on my banks side.” I was on the phone with my bank waiting to be connected (and never was) for 20 minutes. I then demanded to use another machine and guess what... my transaction went through. The manager on shift was also using an extremely condescending tone with me as if I didn’t know what I was doing, when SHE was the one who refused to let me use another register. I didn’t grab her name, but whoever that was needs to learn some customer service, especially when they’re in the wrong. She had no precontext to deny me another register.

The business has only gotten better since Hannaford took over. Fresher ingredients, better prices, more locally sourced goods, and better trained staff. I look forward to seeing what they have in store for their business.

I tripped over an empty rack of some sort right in front of the store manager and hurt myself. The store manager and another employee laughed at me, never even asked if I was ok. I told them that they should put the rack in a spot where no one could trip on it and they turned their back on me. I will never enter that store ahain. They obviously do not care about there customers.

I've experienced this chain of supermarkets before, and it's a pleasant experience. This one is located at UNH, so it's smaller for the college.

It is a Horrible place to work. If you want to work in a place that smells horrid, have managers that don't care about mental disabilities, and force you to sign papers to never work at any Hannaford ever again.

Their meat is good but the produce is terrible. All the fruit and veggies I buy go bad within 2 days.
