They get two stars. The food was as expected. Not wow but not awful. Better ingredients than Applebee’s, I’m sure but about the same level of quality in the end.We Ordered takeout through the online app to be prepared for 1:30 PM.We had to wait until 145 for the order to be ready. Don’t give an option for pick up times if you can’t follow through. We ordered well over an hour in advance.I got the cheese steak Sandwich it was okay but not a good substitute for a true cheesesteak. The kids order burgers and fries. Pretty basic order.I think our family has been here three times since it’s opened and I can honestly say I don’t have any urge to visit again.Dining experience might be different and restaurant, but honestly who wants to pay an extra percentage for service and those drink prices. Yikes no thanks. To be fair that last statement is a pretty general statement for most restaurants in our current year of 2023..No more tips pay your employees a living wage!!!

We had a fabulous experience at Clark's tonight! Starting with drinks, my cocktail was delicious, we both really enjoyed our dinners. Both were flavorful and prepared perfectly. The staff was friendly and attentive. It was an easy and nice experience from beginning to end. You should really check them out!Dietary restrictions: Had gluten free and vegan options and great mocktails!

Pulled pork sandwich was out of this world!Mac and Cheese was fresh but lacked flavor.Burger was an 8/10. Wish it was juicy but the toppings and bun were so good.Fries were on point and homemade!We appreciated their serving sizes and the food is fresh.Our waiter was perfection. No complaints!Very cozy restaurant even during the day. Great place for a first date.I would return and recommend!

We stopped here for dinner after looking at real estate in the area. I got fish and chips (delicious, no issues) and my wife ordered a different dish. The dish was….problematic, so the server Helena took it back to the kitchen. She brought a replacement (same dish) and it had the same problem.The reason I’m not saying exactly what dish or what problem is because Helena and the restaurant owner were so accommodating. They took extremely good care of us and brought my wife a very nice margherita pizza after her other dish didn’t work out.If we end up purchasing a home in this area, we’ll definitely be back.

Wonderful dinner with our UNH students before a hockey game . A great menu lots of choices salads appetizers dinners sandwiches. We all enjoyed our meals and great bar and drink menu . Wonderful service and was very busy but were able to get us seated in the promised time. We look forward to more good times at Clark’s . Highly recommend for a great meal and service .

Unfortunately won’t be back for breakfast. The table was extremely wobbly, and the drinks were spilling. We asked for it to be leveled, and were given some coasters to do it ourselves. It took more than 30 minutes for our food to come out after we ordered and my gluten free meal had regular gluten toast. Took another 20 minutes to get the correct order and even though it was taken off our bill a 90 minute breakfast experience is not something we are looking for. The kids seem to enjoy their meals although the home fries were cold. My southwest omelet had burnt chicken and was missing all three of the toppings, but at that point I had given up. The burger was overcooked and no one checked to see how it was.

Clark’s is owned by lovely people from the community and the manager Lisa creates an atmosphere of community which always brings us back for more! It’s the Cheers of our area! Service is always 100% wonderful! Just like anywhere around here…you have to plan ahead for UNH event nights for the extra time! There are only so many places here in our community. 😊❤️

We went here on a Saturday. Service was good and food was as well. Tried to come in on a Sunday. It is embarrassing that the front of the house manager does not know what an enhanced New York ID looks like. It’s understandable to be on the lookout for fakes in a college town, but showing how you don’t know what real ids looks like shows your inexperience and inadequacy for your job

I would not recommend trying out this place for breakfast. I ordered the hash and eggs with homefries, and the corn beef was incredibly tough and poor quality. My son custom ordered an egg sandwich. The bread was not toasted and was cold. His cheese was not even melted on the sandwich. Our Pancake did not have any flavor what so ever.It's such a shame as Durham could use a good breakfast place. However, to pay $60 for a breakfast that was less than subpar is incredibly frustrating.There were no issues with service, only the taste and quality of food.

Response #2: every time a customer has an issue, you follow up on and give an excuse about being short-staffed or someone in the kitchen having a family emergency. If that was the case it could have been communicated from the start, but I doubt that’s the truth. Your server was very visible throughout our entire dinner service, he just literally ignored our table. Please don’t bother replying. It’s ridiculous at this point. The 2/3 empty restaurant during dinner service on a Saturday speaks for itself regardless of what you say about your business. Your staff serve food (at least a few of them do), they don’t go to war. Take care.In response to the owner: I completely own my error with the bill, which is why I was transparent in mentioning it because it was an honest mistake. The person who brought our food was another server with his own tables, not a runner. The same gentleman asked our own server for the bill on my behalf because he never came back after taking the initial order. Our server was not around to express anything to because again, he never returned to our table. He was visible, he just literally never came back. Had he checked on us even once, I would have been able to ask for my daughter’s side. It seems like you have no issue with this server’s behavior so I’m not quite sure why you bothered to reply. Just kind of reinforces why your business is down and why we won’t be back. Take care.We tried dinner tonight and it was pretty poor from start to finish. Not very busy but our server literally couldn’t be bothered with us. Someone else brought our food and then our own server never checked on us. My daughter didn’t get her side of fries. My dinner was bland but hers was decent. The portions were robust. The server took our food and tossed it without asking if we wanted to take it home. Never came back to ask about dessert or anything else. I then waited almost 30 minutes for the check while our server cleaned up tables and did anything possible to not come back to our table for some weird reason. I had to ask someone else for it. Another 10 minutes of waiting I stood up to just estimate the bill and leave because he was clearly playing a bizarre game at this point, and then he walked over and literally shoved the bill at me and walked away without a word. I have no idea what I or my 8 year old daughter could have possibly done to be so offensive to this dude. I misread the amount ($2 under) and he chased after me outside to tell me I was short. I apologized and gave the remainder and he muttered a sarcastic retort for not tipping. I’ve never ever not left gratuity but he honestly acted like such a jerk there was nothing to be grateful for. I sarcastically thanked him for the great service right back. As an aside, the floor under our table was super dirty and filled with French fries. I definitely would not come here again.

Phenomenal. I would give more stars if I could. I had the GLUTEN-FREE fried chicken club sandwich. They have a separate fryer for GF items and are very cognizant of allergies. Service was amazing. Food was amazing. My kid said he wants to live there. I don't blame him. I kind of want to live there. The Wildcat Martini was amazing. Will definitely be back.

Wow. Just wow! Amazing. The kids mac and cheese is not just the usual Kraft like most restaurants which is phenomenal! The mac and cheese pulled pork was incredible and they're pulled pork sandwich was top-notch as well!

Went here for lunch with a few friends and decided to do takeout instead of dining in. The waitress who took our orders let us sit at a booth and even brought over some water as we waited. It only took about fifteen minutes for four meals which was surprising because they were starting to get a tad busy. The food was delicious and service was excellent. Would definitely recommend coming again!

We have tried here a few times and have yet to leave happy with our experience. Most recently for breakfast which is quite expensive. We arrived not long after opening and they were not prepared for the day. I ordered a simple bacon and eggs breakfast. I got 1 dry piece of toast with no butter and my bacon didn't come to the table until after I had boxed up my food. We did speak to the owner who stopped by the table and the response was "we have new kitchen staff" but no offer to make it right. This was our second time we did speak up about the food not being quite right and were shrugged off. My husband was happy with his burger and the place is a good size for larger groups if you are seeking that. I would stick to lunch or dinner, but it's pricy.Parking: First hour of parking is free, 2 hours if a Durham resident and have a town sticker.
