I love Downtown Dog Grooming and they are the only place I'll ever bring my dog.My dog is a simple shorthaired mix, no real crazy grooming required. However, my girl is incredibly anxious. She's nervous on a leash, meeting new dogs, being around new people... It's tough, but she LOVES it here. The disposition and overall understanding from ALL staff, not just our groomer, has made me and my dog feel so confident that this is the place for us.From a customer standpoint- the pricing is consistent and competitive, there are so many add-ons available (it's nice to pick and choose services), the salon is always clean and quiet, the text reminders are super helpful, and everyone I have ever met has been lovely.

Downtown Dog Grooming is a great company and we love bringing our golden there. They are kind and gentle and always happy to see him. He trots right through the door wagging his tail and never shows signs of being nervous. Not only do they make our pup feel comfortable, but they do an incredible job grooming him. They never over do it with trimming and he’s alway very clean and brushed out. I highly recommend their services!

Cannot say enough positive things about Downtown Dog Grooming!! Our dog Bella is a rescue with quite a bit of sensitivity to handling, especially grooming related tasks, and also doesn’t always do well with strangers. Diandra is amazing and has always been so understanding and patient with Bella. She is a big, fluffy Great Pyrenees who requires a lot of work grooming, and Diandra goes above and beyond to make sure she not only looks amazing, but also is comfortable throughout the process. She has explained to us that she just works slowly and allows Bella to take breaks as needed. We feel so lucky to have found someone who is extremely professional and also clearly cares so much. We have been going to downtown dog grooming every 6-8 weeks for the last 5 years with Bella and have had nothing but amazing experiences. If you are looking for a groomer, especially for a dog who might be a little difficult, downtown dog grooming is 100% the place to go!!

Diandra and the entire team at Downtown Dog Grooming are outstanding. Seven years ago, when DDG opened I stopped in to chat with the owner about my cocker who didn’t love to be groomed. She worked with me to find an appointment time that was least crowded and said “let me give it a shot.” My pooch was treated with love and care and his groom was exactly how I requested. I’ve taken the team’s recommendations and they have all been wonderful. There was even a time (shortly after opening) when I was very pregnant and had a toddler desperate to use a bathroom while out for a walk - Diandra let us use her restroom and I’ve never forgotten that kindness. We still visit DDG even after moving over an hour away! I took a chance on a new salon and they took a chance on me and my lovable yet grumpy pup. Without hesitation, I recommend Downtown Dog Grooming!

Kim is a master! We always hated how awkward our dog looked with other groomers, and we felt so needy explaining what to cut and not to cut.Kim just blew us out of the water! He looks adorable. She cleaned him up while highlighting all his best features.My dog came back beautiful and happy

Very friendly staff! Clean and safe environment. Excellent doodle cuts :) This was my dog's first cut and she was super nervous but they had a plan to take it slow and ease her into it and everything went great. Highly recommend and will definitely be heading back in a couple months.

We love our experience with Downtown Dog Grooming! We've been taking Tuukka there for almost two years now and we just brought his new brother, Frodo, for the first time this week and he did so great! They offer fair prices and our boys look great and smell so good when they leave!

I brought my first dog to them when I moved back to the area 3 years ago. Now with 2 dogs (who sheds non-stop) I bring both to DDG. The owner and the fellow groomers are awesome, friendly, super quick to respond, and my dogs love going to the groomers (never seen a dog be happy about that before). Anytime I need to switch appt dates they are extremely accommodating. Highly recommend DDG!

We couldn’t be happier with the team over at Downtown Dog Grooming. We travel all the way here from Rye because they are simply the best. Our two dogs, a Golden and a rescue Husky-mix get so excited to see the team here. Our rescue has never done well with crates and we feel so relieved knowing that she can roam happily and safely about the salon. Our dogs have been seen by a couple of the girls here and they all do such a great job. Both of our dogs are huge shedders and their de-shedding treatment is borderline magical. We wouldn’t dream of taking our dogs anywhere else. Thank you, Diandra and your entire team!!

I’ve been bringing my lab and German shepherd here for awhile now and absolutely love them! My shepherd is a nervous guy but they always take great care of him and give him the space he needs from other pups. Our lab has the best time going in and gets sooo excited for her visit! Highly recommend this team of groomers! :)

My two labs have being groomed here for about a year now. I love how clean Downtown Dog Grooming is, how easy it is to schedule and how fast and good the service is. Both dogs have not liked every groomer in the past but love coming in here. Thank you guys.

Just took one of my goldendoodles here for the first time a little over a week ago. She had lots of outdoor fun the past few months and got pretty matted up for lack of keeping up on the brushing after getting wet. They were super friendly when we arrived and instantly I got the sense my Billie girl felt comfortable. I felt a little insecure about how matted she was but the lady who helped me at the counter was so kind and didn’t make me feel bad about it. She explained they would have to do a pretty short cut but in the future if we go regularly we can keep her hair longer. I appreciated the tips and knowledge from her and already scheduled an appointment for my other doodles to go next! Highly recommend.

Downtown dog grooming is the best place I’ve ever taken my dog to get groomed. I love the environment in general. My pup isn’t locked in a cage for hours, and as soon as she’s done her groom she mingles with the other pups. I love that my dog is ready to be picked up in an hour and she never feels stressed. Everything is so prompt and professional. Diandra always does such a wonderful job on my yorkie, she looks like a little teddy bear, and smells absolutely amazing. I don’t think I’ll ever take my dog anywhere else. Highly recommend! 🐾

Me and my dogs absolutely LOVE this place! I have a small anxious dog who had a rough life before being rescued and is terrified of strangers, but Diandra and her team are always so so sweet to him and make sure he feels comfy and safe. He is also a fairly uncommon (for NH) hairless breed so places I've brought him before don't really know what to use on his skin - not here though! He always comes back happy, moisturized, and smelling amazing. They are a great business and always make sure your dog feels comfortable.

As a new dog owner I desired a groomer I can trust to ensure our little Princess was taken care of exactly how we would care for her. After much consideration, searching and a little learning I decided to contact Downtown dog grooming even though it is over 30 min away from our home.I spoke on the phone and had contact via email. Diandra Is very informative, sweet, efficient and reasonable. She is also very attentive! I felt great leaving our little Princess with her for any time.Upon my return I was blown away by how adorable our dog is. She looks, feels and smells fantastic!We will be returning - we have found our perfect groomers and we could not be happier!P.S. this is the first review I have ever written (including online purchases)I highly recommend this establishment.

Diandra and Krystal are awesome! I have a very anxious dog who hates getting groomed and will nip us when we try to cut his fur. I read reviews from other dog owners with anxious pups and decided I had to give them a try—and I’m so glad I did! They always manage to trim his fur perfectly (and cut his nails!) I’ve been bringing my dog here for several months now and he’s already getting comfortable with them. So thankful for their skills and professionalism! Thank you!

My dog had a wonderful experience at Downtown Dog Grooming! She is afraid of everything (even a plastic bag...), which has made it difficult when trying to find grooming services in the Seacoast area that are compatible with her anxiety. Diandra was the perfect fit! Typically I have to forgo certain services because of my dog's nerves, but Diandra was so wonderful with her and has such a great demeaner with animals that my dog was able to have ALL grooming services done during her visit -- and was as happy as could be when I came to pick her up! This wonderful experience and her very fair prices will most definitely have us coming back to Downtown Dog Grooming!
