Can’t give a 5 star review based on 1 visit. But we were very happy with how our girls spa day came out. They said she did great and we are pleased as she’s a shy girl. Will update to 5 star if we continue to have great results. Maureen did a great job not shaving too much from our girls legs and her feet came out great. Thinned out her lions mane tufts just right. 🐶

I try to bring my dog Ranger here once a week so he can run around with other dogs and socialize. We’ve boarded him up a few times here and it’s always been a smooth and easy process. As soon as I say “doggy daycare” to my pup he is instantly wagging his tail and ready to go. The staff have been great and helpful here. If there’s ever a concern about my dog they give me a call, like when my dog ate a bunch of my kids crayons and was pooping out some bright colors… I like that they have cameras so you can see your pup outside or in the inside play area. They always have pictures on Facebook of the dogs that go to daycare that day, and I love looking at them and seeing one of Ranger. I also love that they have special treats or holiday things you can sign your pup up for. They also do grooming which is helpful because I always have a tough time trimming rangers nails. The Barking Dog is a great place to let your dog have some fun, and the staff is great!

When my Labrador puppy was 14 weeks old I started looking at day cares for her in the Derry area. I decided to try a one day evaluation at The Barking Dog Derry. The staff could not have been more helpful and did a careful detailed evaluation on her first day of how things went. My pup has been going there during my workdays ever since. The staff at this facility are always cheerful, helpful, and wonderfully attentive to my pup’s needs. My pup is excited to go to daycare and runs right in every time we go to see her friends. The Barking Dog Derry staff gives me piece of mind that she is safe, well cared for, and gets a good amount of play time to burn off her puppy energy, I highly recommend them!

So impressed with the professionalism of staff and extreme attention to details. My dog's evolution day was flawless that left a great impression on me. They did a thorough evaluation, with a detailed mid-day text with photo & an end-of-day detailed report (I even received the name of new friends my dog made that day). The same staff who received my dog in the morning returned her back to me and told me about how well she did. Given the details I was given, I knew the staff took the time to get to know my dog well. I feel very comfortable taking her there for daycare and boarding, knowing that she will be in good hands.

FANTASTIC place to bring any animal of any kind! My dogs Tina and Dagny have been going to TBD for three years doing daycare and they love it. They take amazing care of their daycare pups and boarders. Their ability to take in smaller exotic animals is extremely helpful. I also love that on holidays they offer adorable photo ops. Their grooming department is also 5 star, well experienced. High recommend for any pups

We decided to try The Barking Dog for grooming services. They greeted her in the lobby, we discussed what we wanted done, and she looks amazing. Most importantly, my dog just seemed so happy when we dropped her off and when we picked her up. Everyone was super friendly and the communication was great. We are excited for The Barking Dog to be her new groomer.

We love the Barking Dog Derry! Our puppy loves it there, can't wait to go and often would prefer to stay and play when it's time to go home. They have fun activities for the dogs and put lots of pictures on FB for owners to see their fur babies play during the day. They treat the pups like their own.

Love The Barking Dog in Derry! The staff is wonderful! Every time I drop off my dog he is so excited to get there. Once he’s there I can watch him play and have fun throughout the day on cameras. Derry location is the best!

Great experience! Staff is friendly and my puppy left excited and full of spirit. I boarded my pup with the bronze package. They played with her, updated me with how she was acting and how well she ate, and they took pictures of her during her stay. I will only bring my pup here from now on... side note, when they bring the dogs outside, someone is outside with them (other places do not have this level of care). I was very impressed with the care and professionalism of the barking dog in derry! It really feels like a hotel for pups!

Barking Dog is the best for boarding. I will definitely be taking my Sprinkle there for my future travels. They took much good care of him. They know how to care for pets. I received pictures of him while I was away. I definitely recommend this place!!

The Barking Dog in Derry is wonderful! Our baby Blossom goes to day care, has spa treatments, has had training and boards there when we need it. Great staff! Always a smile on their faces. Plus Blossom comes home exhausted from playing.

I thought I left a review a long time ago but I guess not. We’ve been using the barking dog in derry for over 2 years now. They are literally like family. We send our 3 y/o Boston terrier for daycare a few days a week as well as we board sometimes for a weekend. The entire staff is amazing, there’s a few there that have been there since we first started using them. They treat Freddy like their own. We love that. They are just so good to him and us as well. I can’t say enough good things about them. If you want your dogs to be taken good care of, this is the place to go.

Kahlua our husky has been going here for a couple of months now and gets so excited when we pull in the parking lot. The staff always greets him with a big hello and he comes home tired. There are times I get there and he’s outside playing and he looks so happy. I highly recommend the barking dog in Derry to anyone who is looking for a few days a week of socializing or if looking full time, it doesn’t matter if we use them during the week or on weekends if we know we won’t be home all day. They really care for your pup. They are always willing to take the time to answer any questions or concerns that we may have. Below is a picture from daycare of our happy boy. Had a very positive fist time experience! Had to find new groomer because mine moved away. I called around and decided to try BD, close to my house, great communication, reasonable price. Happy with Maureen’s work! My Pappilion is 2 and has a lot of fur! She looks awesome, exactly what I asked for!

First week using this facility. I came from the Hooksett daycare due to a job change. This place offers more play time for the dogs for most of the day. Hooksett only allows 2 hours and then they sit in their kennels the rest of the day. Nice environment and location.

This was Bentley's 3rd stay with you Bentley enjoyed his time at The Barking Dog in Derry, and I'm sure the staff had a great time corralling him with his zoomies. My grand-daughter always wants to know how Bentley liked puppy camp. I would say he loved it!

Everyone at The Barking Dog is friendly and understanding. My elderly dog goes there for grooming and they treat her kindly and she comes out clean and happy. Greatful for their gentle care of my little lady.

The Barking Dog and all of the wonderful people who work there are the best. I have been sending my dogs there for boarding and daycare for years. The entire team understands that pets are not just pets, but part of your family and they treat them like part of theirs. When our dog Olaf started having medical problems because of his enlarged heart. They took the extra time to understand and make sure they could fully meet his needs. There is no where else I would ever send my dogs or recommend anywhere else to anyone to. Karen and her team are the best and make us as well as our pets feel like family.

Gracie absolutely loves the barking dog! She starts to get excited as soon as she sees her daycare bag come out and doesn’t stop pacing until we leave the house. She understands “going to play with the puppies” when she comes home she is absolutely exhausted. She’s a very social dog. I have been very happy with the training, care, staff, and ease of drop off and pick up. We use the bath and nail services monthly and look forward to being a grooming customer as soon as there is an opportunity.

Our dog Linus is obsessed with the staff at Barking dog in Derry! He absolutely loves going there and is always greeted with lots of love when we drop him off for daycare. We always look forward to Mother’s Day, Father’s Day Christmas and more to see what sort of cute gifts they have him make for us! There is always some sort of fun theme and happenings going on there. They put so much thought and care into everything. Professional, loving, caring, friendly, Best place ever!

I wish I could give more than five stars. Ask any LOCAL who currently takes their dog here, the current staff is nothing but kind and loving to our animals. I’ve never once questioned my decision to bring my dog here, in fact I’m so thankful to have a center like this to watch after Milo while I’m working. He absolutely loves it here, and gets so excited when we pull in. Continue doing what you do!!

We love this place and so does our Frenchie, Lucy! Being a Realtor, I sometimes get pulled away at the last minute during the week. They are so accommodating and welcome Lucy with open arms any time! The fact you that don't need to schedule your visits a week or two ahead, will make your life so much easier!

A very good place to leave you got for an extended time. They were very accommodating in squeezing our two dogs in at a high vacation part of summer. Only reason I didn't provide 5 stars is I would hope there would be more photos and daily updates on our dogs (otherwise Barking Dog really takes great care of our dogs). Similar places provide daily photos. Possibly that may take place if the dogs are also doing daycare but regardless just dropping an update every day is helpful and reduces the concerns on their welfare when you are vacationing.

My Lexy loves going to camp at the Barking Dog Derry. She is always excited to go and I am always at ease sending her….it’s like I’m leaving her with a close friend!! Thanks for giving Lexy such excellent care when I can’t be there
