5 stars because i can't put 10 stars. I have owned boats for 30+ years and Ihave never dealt with a more friendly , knowledgeable and honest company.Had a warranty issue with a 3 year old pontoon boat, it sat at the dealer I bought it from for 6 weeks and I finally took it back. I reached out to granite state dock and marine and they went over and above for a boat they didn't even sell. They reached out to the manufacture and had the necessary repairs done within a week. I travel over an hour to get to them and have no problem doing this because they are the Best!!!! shout out to Mike and Jenthank you for getting me back on the Water !!!!!

These guys really run an amazing business. We recently bought a used center console boat from Granite State Dock and Marine. They stood behind the sale and went above and beyond to make sure everything was right with the boat even after the sale. We are so happy with our experience. Mike and Jen and the whole crew over there are just awesome! They do great work and place a lot of value on customer service. We love our new (to us) boat, and if we are ever looking for another boat in the future, this will be our first stop.

My husband and I have always dreamed of getting a boat and the opportunity finally came to us and we were able to get one. We chose Granite because they sell Berkshire and they had great reviews compared to the other Berkshire dealers. Mike was SO HELPFUL. I called and emailed several times because of who I am as a person and he was always so understanding and kind. They went above and beyond to get the boat ready for us right in time for the fall run. When we arrived the process was pain free, with jon and mike spending ample time with us explaining everything. I’m really glad we made our decision to purchase our boat here and I can’t wait to go out on the water with it!

We purchased a beautiful used Four Winns 205 last week from Granite State Dock & Marine, we've already put 10 hours on it in two days, the boat handles the big lake (Winni) with no issues and is an easy tow. Overall, great experience, great people and we were very well taken care of all around, our used boat was clean as new, it even smells new. We highly recommend this professional dealership and thank the whole team for getting us set up. Have a great summer!

Mixed feelings on this review. Jen at the front desk was always a pleasure to deal with and Mike the owner was helpful as well when I bought my used boat.So I bought a used Bayliner at the end of last season and it never saw the water until this summer. The boat ran as expected and was in good shape and thought I found a boat that would last five years or so.After about thirty hours of use the motor stopped working. I had it looked at my dock by another marine mechanic since he could come to me. Unfortunately he could not diagnose on site so was towed to him. From the get go, he had a strong feeling it was a major issue since the spark plugs were rusted in and could not be removed.As expected is was horrible news for me. Head gasket is blown, two cylinders have water in them. The motor was getting so hot that the pistons became out of shape. Cost of repairs are 7k and that what I paid for the boat and trailer so for me the boat is a loss.Here is my issue. I would like to think that the boat was at least checked over prior to selling it. It had a thirty day warranty but that hardly gave me any time for the problems to show. I have been told that all of these issues had to be going on for some time prior to my purchase. If the boat was looked at it was not done well. The park plugs had two different sets installed as well. I think if it was inspected prior to selling they would have found the problems and I would not be out 7k. Maybe the prior owner knew about everything and just wanted it gone. Granite State isn’t out me money, I am.I did call and ask if something could be done and the answer was no. Again, I understand the warranty was short and I am responsible for buying a piece of garbage boat. I guess I wish that maybe I could catch a break and they could work something out with me.Sorry to say that I would never buy another boat from them again. I would advice anyone looking at a used boat to have it checked out before buying.

Mike and team did a terrific job keeping me updated during the process, where there were supply chain delays from the manufacturer that Granite State did not control. I needed service on my Yamaha engine. The factory recommended granite state dock and marine. Every contact in the place is knowledgeable and pleasant. They fixed my problem quickly. The did a great job and gave me a fair price. I would highly recommend them they are honest and fair.

I needed a skeg repair and was looking to upgrade to power trim/tilt on a newer Mercury outboard. Dylan was knowledgeable and great to work with. He made sure I knew the cost up front and showed great care in keeping my 1967 Whaler clean while at their shop. The final cost was within the original quote and they turned the boat around in 10 days during a holiday week no less! Great shop with great service!

Bought a new Manitou pontoon from Granite State this year. Had to deal with supply and production delays that everyone is experiencing due to COVID, but Mike was very forthcoming with information when available. They even combined orders from two suppliers to match a motor and a boat so that we could get our boat sooner. Very happy with the service and we LOVE our new boat!

Granite State Boat & Dock has been Winterizing and Shrink wrapping my boats for years. They do a great job, I highly recommend them ! When my original boat got to a point of costing too much for repairs for what the boat was worth, they were honest and recommended retiring that boat which was in my best interest. I continue to have them PM my new to me boat and i couldn't be happier!

Brought in my bass boat as my DIY upgrades didn't go so well... electrical disaster. Got her back today and highly impressed with the cleanliness of the work. They got me in pretty quick and with tournament season a few weeks away that's no small feat, Bass Pro was a month out from even dropping my boat off. I dealt with Dillon, he listened to what I wanted and delivered... cost me some money but hey, that's the deal with boat ownership! Definitely recommend and look forward to building a good working relationship with these guys. As a hardcore angler and tournament fisherman I have full faith knowing these guys are gonna keep me on the water!

I had called when my 2000 Yamaha ls2000 jet boat had lost spark to the port engine. I inquired if the firstly worked on jet boats. I was told "yes ,bring it down and we are on a first come first serve basis". I trailered it down the same day. I spoke to a gentlemen at the front counter and he took my contact info as well as my issues. I informed him that we swapped cdi boxes and no avail on getting spark , however the swapped box still ran the working motor. I believed it was the stator that was the issue. He said alright we will call you with our findings. I had to wait almost two weeks for a call back that said we did a compression test and ran it on our gas. The one motor runs great the second has no spark. That is literally what I had already told them. I was then told they don't have the equipment to read the ecus and trouble codes. This was a complete lie as there is no computer on these boats much less a scan tool port. They are carbed bombadier motors. He then said maybe you should just get rid of the boat. I said ok, can you just get a stator and install. I was told that they would be in touch with when they could get one .After having to call every few days for two weeks , I got another blatant lie that they don't make these stators anymore and I should get rid of the boat. I think the quote was" Little boat , big problems" .I went down now after this had basically had zero done for weeks to pickup to get an outrageous bill for doing nothing. I paid it and we left.I ordered a stator myself ( they are widely available as they fit quite a lot in those years) , The stator in the motor, had anyone even checked was broken in half so it would make sense there would be no spark. One hour later and bam boat runs great. Had anyone here just opened the cover they would have been blatantly obvious. My gripe is if you are not qualified to work on something don't take the job . Secondly don't just make things up just state the truth . I would never recommend this shop to anyone based on those two principals.

Will not take parts returns even if they order you the wrong part.We discussed the size needed and she still got me the wrong part. She then argued with my about how the PWC lift we had wasn't the brand we said it was. You think we don't know what brand our lift is? Its labeled on the side... She then said it was my fault because we discussed the size. I had the part I needed in front of me, with a tape measure, and she still got the wrong size. Sure, it's my fault...Thanks very little Jennifer.

I have a 2000 90hp Johnson that has had a running problem for six years. I've had three other mechanics look at it without any good results. Granite State Dock & Marine did a great job on it in a short time. My boat hasn't run this good in years. They also were the only guys that would take it for a test drive after the repairs. Excellent experience.

I recently needed a part for my kayak. As I was driving in Derry I noticed a boat shop. Thought I would give it a try. They were so helpful and informed I walked out of there with exactly what I needed even though they do not deal with kayaks. My husband was so impressed with my telling of the experience that he will be going there for his boat's winterization! Great people!

Staff presents with an attitude that your a bother to them...I asked for service to be done, they said they could take it but they were really busy...I looked in the shop and they were working on the owners muscle car, not a single boat being worked on.I followed up two days later and they still didn't even look at my boat, nevermind do the work. Completely unprofessional service.Go where your business is appreciated...not looked down upon.

Had a great experience the 1st few times. Then I asked them to winterize my boat and paid for an extra descent package so no humidity would damage the interior. Opened it to de-winterize it and there were no bags at all, as well as significant mold present. So I call in and leave a message saying that there was no bags placed and simply asking for them to clean the mold(as it was their fault). I get a call the next day with a guy cursing me out and acting aggressive. Last time I ever go there again.

Shockingly bad experience. Had deal for new motor at end of season with pick up at dock and spring delivery part of transaction. They demanded full payment in fall for spring delivery so no money was due.In the spring, the charged 300 more for the engine that I did not take possession of. They requires lost so wasted office time dealing with their shake down. check refused and kept the boat over nice weekend,. Gloating Scott said "enjoy your summer without your boat" then I had to use a lot of personal and employee time going back and forth to the dealer for this boat ready to deliver. Cash brought down as demanded and they still found another angle to keep us out of the water further. brought down cash in amount demanded and they held up the boat some more. Ego kicked in i guess and he needed to provide pain on the customer. A REALL BULLY. NOT A NICE MAN. even had to call the police on them and they still fought. they finally said that they would release with cash payment for extraneous contested charges ONLY IF WE SIGH A RELEASE saying we are satisfied or they would start charging 65 per day even though we met their cheater demand to pay more money in cash, Honesty+0 Word = 0, handshake = 0, writing = 0 if he can find a weasel angle to charge you more. example $75 hazardous waste on new engine that was not yet delivered. He may be in handi location. take your chances with open eyes. and extra cash for the surprise. Shop around.

During Scott's absence, the manager "Judy" was able to arange an almost emergency pickup of my boat and my neighbors boat. The nature of the "emergency" was the fact that the town we live in drops the level of lake some 2 to 21/2 feet. This would have left both of our boats "high and dry" sitting in the lake for duration of the winter months. Judy was able and willing to "move mountains" to get both boats out of the water and ready for winter storage with very limited help. Granite State Dock & Marine does go the extra mile for their customers !!!!
