Great place to gas up, grab a cup of coffee, or even a few groceries. They have several aisles of groceries such as bread, milk, ice cream, etc. They have a deli counter and some hot items such as pizza. Very friendly & helpful staff. There's never a wait, yet the store is a very common place to us who call this part of NH home. 😀 VERY cozy inside - very much the feel of an old general store which are becoming fewer and fewer each year. Be sure to wander into the back where they have some gift items on the left.

Amazing place right off the rail trail. Such a wide range of good yummy food. A nice porch to eat on. A bike rack to hold bikes. And close to the half way point of the rail trail making it the perfect pit stop.A year later and I still love this place. My sandwich is so yummy and its the perfect refueling stop on the bike path.

Great little store near my daughters home. We ordered some sandwiches and salads to go with a few other things. The sandwiches were good and so were the salads. Lots of fun items like candy, local wines, jams and foods, souvenirs. We also filled up the car with gas, good prices.

This place is a great story. It has everything you could ever want and more. We went in for lunch/dinner and we got 4 pizzas ( pepperoni,cheese, Western and bacon chicken ranch) their pizzas were amazing their sauce kind of tasted like spaghetti sauce which was a bit different. They make a great chef salad as well. They have a whole wall of candy like if you went to a penny candy store which was nostalgic and the kids all loved that. They have a gift store inside the store where you can buy all kids of goodies. They also make their own sauces and seasonings( reading the name of most of them was a blast 😂 you will have to check it out for yourself) they serve ice cream and shakes...... The staff was super friendly and patient with our large group (mainly kids ages 6-12) I highly recommend you stop in if your in the area..... Can't express everything in this one review but worth the trip for sure.

What a great country store! Phenomenal sandwiches. The Vermonster and the breakfast sandwiches were delicious. Great spot to hit up before or after a hike! Super friendly people and a great selection of everything you could possibly want.

Love Country Stores they have the best pizza very clean variety of many items of merchandise seasonings to wine beer many more adult beverages .you just wouldn't think they had so much going on there. The Best Friendly Service.

Great old style country store. They have most everything you could want including pre-made and made-to-order sandwiches. Inside and outside tables to sit at while resting or eating. Bike rack in front of the store which is great since they're located just off the Northern Rail Trail.

Dice a great little store. They have a little of almost anything you could need, from flour, to beer, to ice cream, and even a great selection of toys and puzzles. If they have it, don’t miss the maple cotton candy. Delicious!

DCS has one of the best chef salads around. Unfortunately, the oriental man needs to be taught by the other man how to make one. Twice I've been so disappointed with my salad. The oriental man recently just threw the meat on top of the vegetables without even cutting it.To the other man, you make the best chef salad!

This is the 3rd year in a row we’ve stopped at this store to eat. I am obsessed with the blueberry lemon cookies and all the others too. We bought 20 assorted cookies to bring to our friends. My son couldn’t wait to try a different sandwich and we enjoyed the club. Even though we aren’t locals we we treated wonderfully and I can’t wait to see them next year! ❤️

What a great store! There was something there for everyone: adults, kids, locals, tourists, workers, vacationers... you name it. We got sandwiches and snacks (me and four 20 years old boys) and everyone was happy and full. The deli uses fresh and abundant ingredients. And I picked up a few locally made souvenirs to bring home for friends.

I love this store! They have everything you need and some unique items you just have to have. Unusual candies, NH knickknacks, and great food are just a handful of what you'll find. Highly recommended!!!

If it's a down home Country store your looking for , you won't find one better simple as that..one that has a little bit of absolutely everything from fresh made sandwiches to Danbury spices for ypur at home meal prep and well of course the toys , ice cream and beer selection among fuel, gas , seating to relax and take break.It's a good bunch of people , I personally go there atleast once a day if not two or 3 times..thanks for the all the hard work you all put in Audrey, Jimmy, Dennis,Stanley the Phelps family all around without you the store wouldnt exist, Stacy, Ruth, Scott, Sam and everyone else that I don't know your names I apologize but you all make the small town life alive !!If you end up moving here , visiting, or just driving through make the stop you won't regret it!!Catch you tomorrow in the morning,Rob

Great store with a little bit of everything. Usually very crowded when I go. They close fairly early and the gas pumps do too but what can you expect from a small town store. Some of the breakfast foods aren't too great but they'll do. Honestly I just love getting their giant cookies and honey sticks, they are the best!

The place is the best I love it .it has everything I would ever need . I am obsessed with the vermonster:) The Lemmon blueberrie cookie is the best. I would very much recommend that you go.SOO GOOD!

The Danbury store has been so wonderful since they opened. They are all about customer service, they have everything and anything you would like or need. The food is awesome. A month ago I ordered pizza on the phone because we are in Grafton so I would not have to wait. When I got there I was given the salad I ordered and was informed I did not order a pizza. I was very disappointed. I guess it is hard to always have great employees. People make mistakes, the guy should have just admitted to not making the pizza.

This store is fabulous. Talk about back in time about probably 60 years this store. Love the decor. Love the area and could use a little bit more help in there now and again but they do pretty well and they have Penny candy. Well it's not penny, but you know. Thanks for being there

Really good food that is reasonably priced. The grab and go breakfast sandwiches are my favorite, snag a couple. They've also got a good beer and snack selection. With the proximity to the rail trail and being at the intersection of route 4 and 104, I stop in all the time.

This is a a beautiful old county store. With food ice cream, a old pennie cany section. A toy area for kids and plenty of nic-naks there is a little of everything going on here. It's also a local hangout . With some super friendly staff and locals.

This is the best country store in the country hands down. For all you people who cryd about wearing a mask wa get over it. No one told you to stop here. This review should be 5 star total from everyone. Anyone who has something negative to say about this place is just ignorant. This store is alot better than it was back in the day. You don't like it keep driving. This is the number 1 cou try store in the state and that is a fact!!!!!!!

Love everything about this good size country store they have everything from freshly baked home goods to gasoline and a fresh clean deli you can sit and enjoy your food and play checkers right at the table your sitting at. Extremely nice people that are very helpful and very nice. Store and seating area is always clean. And let's face New Hampshire always has a beautiful view

Excellent Country Store with friendly staff. The bathroom is clean as is everything else. Great selection of items and I love that they do carry some local things as well. It's very comfy and cute inside - the way an old country store should be!
